Garrus had been wandering around the camp with Thane, discussing the recent events and overseeing the guards. They had watched the appearance of a new man in the camp and seen him surrounded by guards, but avoided getting involved as it looked like the man was not much of a threat. After some time they decided to return to the tribunal and see what progress had been made. Passing through the doorway, Thane took an empty seat. Garrus was about to do the same when he spotted a familiar figure near the back. Moving closer, his mandibles flicked open in surprise. It was one of the synthetics from earlier, and its head looked just like that of the one he had sniped before! It even had scuff marks where it had hit the ground. Garrus went for his pistol, but Shepard spotted him first.
"Garrus!" she called out sharply. It got his attention and she shook her head slightly. Garrus nodded and lowered his hand, but he sat behind the machine and remained tensed to attack.
