"When you say 'craftworld', I keep thinking of 'Little Big Planet'." one of the Joes said to the Guardian with Tali. "This things is awesome!!" Throwing up his hands as he looks at the FTL drives.
"From what I've seen, you tend to be slow to understand other races yourselves. So many different species live and work together on board this ship. It was built by the humans and Turians, working together. Turians, Salarians and Krogan have fought side by side as crew members. I've even found myself working with a Geth. And when you came aboard, you planted a bomb on it." She glanced over at Joe.
"Oh, you again. Can I help you?"

"Oh... I guess you met, Joe? The stickman that was a bit taller than me." The Joe said. "Shepard said we could look around the ship and learn and stuff. We love building stuff. Are you doing anything important right now? Can you show me around?" The Joe said holding the notepad and jumping up and down with excitement.
Royce was concerned by what he had heard Shepard and the strange alien creature say. All the gloom and doom worried him. He instinctually started wringing his hands as he left the room as quietly as he had entered.
The Guardian sighed as he worked and removed his helmet and placed it beside him. "We understand the other races perfectly well, we watched them climb from their primordial soup. In the fringe of the Galaxy I hail from we are at constant war, Craftworld Ulthwe itself orbits the Eye of Terror and must deal not only direct attacks from Chaos but the weak-willed humans of the nearby sectors as well." He picked the disarmed charge up and placed it on his belt before saying "The Imperium of Man is the largest dominion ever to have existed since the old Eldar Empire and the Imperium seeks to free all of humanity from 'Alien' oppresion. Humans are near sighted fools, Orks are savage, bloodthirsty and unreasonable animals, Tyranids are mindless locusts, Tau are naive children and Chaos is the worst of it all. The Eldar stand alone." He put his helmet back on and began to walk away. "Not another inquisitive mammal" He said as he passed Knife.
OOC: @Random: Do you think you could pretend to be psychologist, a la Kelly Chambers?
Royce walked down a narrow hallway of the ship, lost in thought. His hands began to shake and so he rubbed them harder. Looking down he was shocked to see them covered in, what he instantly recognized to be, blood. He sagged against a wall before asking a passing crew member where he could wash his hands. The woman told him where the bathroom was and he rushed there. He quickly filled the sink with hot water and lathered soap on his hands. He dunked them in the water and scrubbed them vigorously. He sighed as he saw the water turn red and pulled his hands out of the water. But they were still dripping with blood.

"I'm sorry. Your galaxy sounds like an unpleasant place. Things look bleak for my own, but there is always hope. Like I said, many races who should be mortal enemies have also shown that they can be allies, even friends. My own people have suffered 300 years of persecution, even after being driven close to extinction, but I have still seen that there is some good in the galaxy. Perhaps the Eldar can find it too, either in their own, or in another." She looked at Joe.
"Sure. That big silver orb is the mass effect core. What that does is..."
OOC: I can't type this description again. To summarise; mass effect shortens and expands space. Core connected to FTL drives, which project mass effect in front of ship. Ship travels through shortened space faster than light through original space. Effect can be reversed to greatly increase space through which bullets must travel, hence kinetic barriers.
OOC: Kelly Chambers didn't survive the Normandy's crash in NYC, I'm afraid.

The Guardian stopped leaving and turned to sit down in the room. He brought up his Shuriken Catapult and began checking the Physcic Matrixes and Plasti-Crystal ammo block. "I noticed this ship has no warp drive. How does it travel the great lengths of the Galaxy? Unless...that drive of yours manipulates space around it to travel faster than light."
Rakanis appeared in a flash beside Royce which seemed counter productive to what he said next. "Calm down Human, your stress levels are interfering with my neural sensors."

Royce's hands shook so violently they splattered blood all over the place: on the sink, on his uniform, and on the mirror in front of him. He couldn't stand the sight of the blood anymore so he stared directly at the mirror. He stared deeply into his own reflection. Soon his eyes hurt from not blinking. Just before he was forced to close them he saw something in the far edge of the mirror. He rubbed his eyes as he turned around quickly. When he opened his eyes again, he was relived to see that the blood was gone from his hands. He gave a weak laugh as he held them in front of him. Suddenly he heard a voice in his head. "Guilty aren't you...you couldn't save them all" An ice block formed in his stomach.

Tali was surprised to see the Eldar turn back, and gladly repeated the mechanisms of the Mass Effect and FTL drives to him. She also explained to Joe how Element Zero was responsible for the Mass Effect, and was the core of much of the technology in her galaxy.

The Guardian slid the ammo cyclinder into the weapon before powering the matrix and bringing it to a ready position before lowering the weapon and checking the Wraithbone slide. "Does this ship have marskman training facilities?"

Suddenly another voice. This one coming from beside him. Royce jerked his head toward the voice and saw one of the aliens from before. He reeled backward and tripped over his own feet, falling onto his back with an unceremonious *thud*.
He wanted to say something but the first voice seemed to steal the air from his lungs.
"We know all about you...mortal...all of your bad decision...your lack of speed to save your friends...so sad isn't it". it said in a sinister tone.

"We know all about you...mortal...all of your bad decision...your lack of speed to save your friends...so sad isn't it". it said in a sinister tone.
"Element zero ah..." The Joe wrote it down. "You'd think something that it would be radioactive..."
"Some of the crew test fire weapons in the cargo bay. There are some targets set up, as well as empty containers to keep the stray shots in a safe area."She looked at Joe.
"Oh, it is. You don't want to be in direct contact with it. There's a very mild chance that it will give your children biotic abilites if you're pregnant, but most likely it'll just give you, and them cancer. Thats why the core is shielded."

Rakanis sighed. He was no medical officer and he warped away to find Shepard, appearing in front of her saying "One of the crew seems to have collapsed in the wash room. He may need medical attention." Before Shepard could respond he warped away again.
Xanis sat alone in a secluded room he had found and began to cast the runes once again. The small stones began to orbit around him in ever changing patterns as he tried to divine events.
The Guardian made his way out of the room this time, raising his hand slightly in a gesture of fairwell as he headed for the cargo bay.
