Ulquiorra fire another Bala close to Joe. "Reiatsu is a concept beyond you. Do not dabble with what you do not and never will understand." He turns again to the girl and says "Nonsense. I will have no part in this." With that he tapped his right arm forward, attempting to open a Garganta back to Hueco Mundo yet nothing happened. He returns his hand to his pocket and mutters What's going on?

"The Universe Combine Battle Royal eh? Sounds fun."

Charlotte looked at the "Arrancar". "I see. During my time here, I was given a special ability integrated to help fight against things like yourself. Similar to what.... What did the person say?.... A Quincy perhaps?"

Charlotte looked at Knife. "Lose and your Universe is erased... That sounds like a helluva good time..." she says sarcastically.

"Wait! That can't be right! My Creator is just a regular person from Earth! Not a Titan!" Joe shouts to Charlotte.

"Eh, if by 'Lose' you mean die, then I got nothing to worry about."

Charlotte shook her head. "Doesn't matter. The Titans do what they please... Why the one I fought said that all the events in my Universe were orchestrated by them."

Charlotte looked at Knife again, with a bit of confusion."You are one strange man, you know that?"

OOC: The page moved down after I edited my previous post in case you want to go look at it. Also just vs our titans? I thought wed be against each other as well as the titans try to prove whose world is better and reveal some subtle internal strife within the group.

A telecomm communication rang in Charlotte's ear. Deploying a hologram, she showed the message to the entire group.

"This just in! The Leader of the Titans Lelouch vi Britannia will be having his first public appearance in London, at the Palace of Westminster! Ushering in an era of peace, he hopes to come to a cease-fire against the remaining human forces..."

Ulquiorra watches the holograms. "Era of peace? Clearly this imbeciel has not had much interaction with humans. How naive of him to expect humans to back down in the face of an opponent they cannot beat. Their so called 'heart' prevents them from making logical decisions."

"Yeah, sounds like the kinda guy to make people fight for the survival of their universe." Reno said sarcastically.
"A one on one battle? But we're all from one universe." Vincent said, indicating the Turks. "Not to mention the Remnants."

"My Creator was human! He was bored on a car ride and wanted something to do! So he drew a one page comic strip to pass the time! I was one of the two stick-men drawn on that page! Are you telling me that was all a lie!?" Joe shouts again, frustrated that this woman who he had never seen before was questioning his very existence.

Charlotte nodded towards Reno and Vincent. "That is correct. Although there are multiple beings of your universe here, only one is Champion. Who that is, it's up to the Titan..."

Charlotte looked back at Joe. "Existence is circumstantial. All that matters is that you are here and must fight."

OOC: Charlotte seems out of character because of the Titans battle 5 years ago... as will other veterans that will appear...

" Champion?" Ulquiorra attempts to open a Garganta to London yet it fails to activate again. "My Garganta won't deploy. These Titans must be preventing me from using it to return to Hueco Mundo. Fools, it has only listed them as an obstacle in my path, an obstacle that needs to be removed."

"They are uber-powerful and they gain more power if...." Charlotte suddenly stopped mid-sentence, as if in a trance. A few moments later, she was simply looking at Ulquiorra in interest.

Joe thought long and hard about what she said. 'I... I... I might not be made by the Creator! But then what am I? Who am I?' Joe continues to descend into this train derailment of thought, until one important fact pops into his head.

"If my universe disappears... then ALL the subsequent Joes will disappear with it..." Joe continues to mutter to himself. "I stayed on this adventure to find out more about myself, giving up now would be a joke, I need to find how far this rabbit hole goes..."
