The Eldar took stock of their losses in the battle while Xanis meditated on the Runes. A wraithguard felled, Liala and Liliath had escaped major injury but their black armour was now covered in numerous scratches and schisms. Draug had arrived with the message from Shepard. It could wait, for now the Bonesingers set about repairing the damaged Eldar equipment and otherwise took time to rest while Xanis observed the possibilities of the future. It was clear the situation was decided, but the Webway gates connection to Ulthwe was limited to sparse troop reinforcement and communication. If a Webway network was set up evenly across the planet, then it would be stable enough to allow free reinforcement of Eldar forces. He would see if he could manipulate the fate touched individuals into assisting him.

Shepard and her team came to the site of the battle that they had witnessed earlier, and now they watched the reaining host from a distance. There was a black armoured warrior similar to the ones they had fought in New York, but armed with more primitive weapons. The figure was surrounded by horrific twisted creatures, and a giant machine similar to the Gundams. Shepard turned to Grunt and Jack.
"Well, clearly those aren't people we want to mix with. We'll try to go around. Do not engage. Joker and the crew are our priority here."

Ratsel brought the aussenseiter into the air and went back towards the house where he left the Joe's and Royce, a few minutes later he brought the mech down with a loud thud which shook the ground

Shepard and her team managed to sneak around the host of demons, though it cost them time, and after ten or fifteen minutes of trekking, they came to the same house they had been in before. As they approached, they saw the giant mech land nearby.
"Damn it, is that thing tracking us?"
"Possibly. We'll take cover here, and wait to see what it does."

"Nice to meet you too..." The ground shook as Ratsel landed. Joe looks outside then runs to the door.
"RATSEL!! HI!!"

Vincent followed Shepard's team, and entered the house with them. "Red. Cait. Hello." he said. "And who are you?" he asked Joe.
"Ah joe how are you"

Xanis rose from his mediatations after sending a message to Ulthwe detailing their situation and course of action. Before long the gate flickered again and 10 more Guardians came out, along with news of Ulthwe's response. One of the Guardians approached Xanis and said "Ulthwe has divined this engagements escalation and as such warrants great access to Eldar forces once the Webway Network is expanded." Xanis nodded and a Bonesinger approached him to fix his cracked mask. Xanis listened to the haunting sound as he looked at the remaining Wraithguard, which stood slightly swaying in the winds of the spirit world. After his mask was fixed he had set off from the shroud field to Shepards ship with Liliath, Liala, 4 Guardians and Rakanis as hidden support. Inaeun would observe the battlefield while Draug set up a defensive perimeter with the rest of the Guardians. Xanis left the shroud field, becoming visible along with his aids as the walked across the countryside to where the Normandy was. Shepard had better have a good explanation for this.
"Shepard!!" Joe jumped at her, almost knocking her down for a big hug, or actually knocking her down.
Shepard grabbed Joe as he jumped at her, awkwardly returning the hug. It felt like embracing a knife blade, though her hardsuit saved her any discomfort.
