OoC @Berk: I imagine it having a small elevator bringing a person from the ground to the entrance. But since it's still on the construction site, there would be a gangway leading up to it. (I think)

"That much is certain. These aren't the type of people thatreadily see the appeal of the treaty table." Balthier said to Black, then looked at Valvatorez and shrugged. "The only thing we really know of them is that they call themselves Overlods and have appearantly taken over the desert."
Once everyone had entered the elevator, Balthier pressed the down button. Ten seconds later, the elevator stopped at the second floor. Balthier stepped out and walked towards the bridge.

Ba'Gamnan curled up his lip in what could be considdered a smile. Power? A chance to finally kill Balthier? This was too good a oppertunity to turn down.
"If ye wished to hire us, ye could've said so from the very start. Yes. The terms in this contract are acceptable."

 

[DotSlash]

Taking the sword gently, he takes a bit of scrap and scratches out a seal on the floor. [color=008888] "I understand. I'll keep your sword in shape." [/color] He inspects the cracks and places a large piece of scrap over the sword in the center of the seal. Taking a deep breath, he charges up his hand and strikes the seal.

POP! ​

The sword resonates and the cracks seem to be filled in. Rex picks up the sword and hands it back to Black. [color=008888] "Take a few test swings. The metal may have made it a bit heavier... But that's the best I can do for you." [/color]

Edgar followed Balthier onto the bridge.

Ryu looked back at the others as they entered the bridge. "Ready to go?"

Black took back her sword and looked at it closely. "You actually managed to fix it.....thank you Rex....you truly have my gratitude...." Black said to Rex, giving him a small bow in respect. "Hmm....that's a pity...I really don't want to hurt anyone.....but I suppose It can't be helped...." Black replied to Balthier, she held her sword to her right side. trying to get a feel for the new weight as she enters the bridge. "Yeah....let's go..." She said to Ryu.

 

[Random berk]

OOC: Ok. Well, he's on board anyway.

The girl grinned. "Good." she snapped her fingers and the air rippled and split to her right as a swirling portal appeared. "Please step right this way... Wait I'm forgetting something... Oh yes." She snapped her fingers again and a smaller portal appeared on her left. She sheathed her rapier and reached into the smaller portal for a few seconds before pulling out a medium sized sack. As the small portal closed the girl turned back to the Lizard Men and chucked the sack at them. "You'll need those to convince the locals that you mean business. Now ladies first..." she said with a grin waiting for them to go through the portal. When they inspect the sack they will find that it is filled to the brim with gold coins.

Fenrich bowed to Valvatorez "Excellent my Lord, your retribution shall be an example to all."

"That we are." Balthier said to Ryu as he sat down in the pilot's seat. "I hope you don't mind me flying the Emily this time." He said to Edgar as he flicked a red switch above him, starting the engine. The massive fan-like object in the middle of the Emily slowly began spinning and gliving off a green hue.

Ba'Gamnan snatched the sack out of the air in-mid flight, then shoved it against Gijuk's chest. "Ye be the one to carry this thing." Gijuk grunted as he grabbed hold of the sack, but didn't object. The duo then stepped trough the portal.

 

[FPSfanatic]

"I'm gonna go double check my loadout, make sure everythings good. Come get me once we can see the enemy." Bryce went below, to the room he stayed in the night before.
OoC brb, shouldn't be gone for long.

Rex shakes his head as Black bows toward him. [color=008888] "That's the least I can do, since you helped be out way back when those worms attacked." [/color] He goes back to the seal and does a similar process, creating another metal pistol and a few magazines. As Ryu calls out, he fires a test shot away from the group. [color=008888] "Damn... Could've done a lot better on this one... [small] and I'm out of scrap now... [/small]" [/color]

OoC: A wild Zeph Appeared!

"Still....thank you..." Black said again to Rex, then clipped a chain to the handle of the sword and clipped the other part near the tip of the blade.

 

[Saltyk]

"Well, let's get this show on the road. Do we have any idea where this city is?" Ryu says to Balthier.

 

[Slenn]

"Well, we can't do two goals at once." Edgar said to Ryu. "As they say, if you chase two rabbits, you end up losing both. Are we going to locate the hidden city or locate the carrier and rescue Eve?"

 

[Saltyk]

"Where is the carrier? Do you know? It could be at the city... Or if we go there, we might find a way to find it. A ship is able to travel rather easily. A city is not." Ryu said to Edgar.
