As the elevator reaches the deck, Jack pushes Darwin so that he falls out of the elevator backwards and lands with a clanging sound as his armour collides with the deck. He steps over the downed Darwin. "This is what you get for being a smartass." Jack spat as he stepped over Darwin and proceeded to look around the deck. He sees what appears to be another strange craft, a floating metal person and a blue haired boy. He smiled behind his mask before changing his temperament and addressing the blue haired person. "Excuse me, might you know where the pilot is? I have some... complaints I would like him to address." JAck said in a soft polite tone as Darwin pulled himself off the floor.

 

[Random berk]

"Hell if I know." Jensen replied, glancing up from his arm at Bullet and reaching for another tool from the praxis kit as he did so. "I spoke briefly to that guy earlier. He said he was a healer, who could use magic. He struck me as more than a little strange. Started talking about how we might regret having someone who could heal injuries with magic as time went by. I figured he was a bit of a crackpot."

"I'll tell you what. Why don't you address them with me. I'm the official complaint department." Ryu replied brandishing his sword.

OoC: So I haven't really posted anything partly due to me having no clue what the layout is or where anything is, can someone give me a detailed rundown of where we currently are? I thought most of us were outside but now people are taking an elevator somewhere?

Royce just waited in the ship.

Balthier was pressed against a wall when the ship took of. With a somewhat pained expression, he tried to move into a less uncomfortable position. I miss the Emily already. And I miss the Strahl even more...

OoC @Furioso: There is a central elevator connecting the three levels of the ship. (The top level being the deck. The main being the bridge, cummunal sleeping quarters, kitchen and infirmary. And the lowest being the cargo hold and engine room.) So assuming Val and Fen went to look for the Prinnies in the cargo hold, they'd be in the lower levels. Ryu Jack and Darwin are on the deck. Everyone else took off.

Ratsel raised an eyebrow at Jack's actions. Now why would you go and do that? Even on her worst days, I'm not that bad with Chelsea.

"But really... Slashing at someone who had a logical idea of staying as well? Looked like she just wanted to back him up! But... *Sigh* That's how it was with the mercenary group, we stuck out for each other. If one suffered, we all suffered."

She looked concerned at him. "Is there anything I can do to help you with though?"

OoC: everyone was loading up into the warhammer, except for ryu and rosh's other char, who had their reasons for not going. Nile's chars are coming up to the top deck.

"Thank goodness that we are finally moving. I had almost forgotten what the sensation of progress felt like." Rozalin said to no one in particular as she glanced out a window. The slightest hint of worry flashed across her face as she thought about those that got left behind, but only if someone payed close attention would they even notice it.

Jensen actually smiled, a rare gesture.
"No, its ok. I'm just tuning up the stabilisers while we have some time. Means I'll be able to aim more accruately even at a full sprint." The smile disappeared again as quickly as it had appeared. "It sounds like you really miss those people. I was always kind of a loner, especially after this..." He momentarily raised the hand he was working on. "But I know what its like to lose people that you've worked with for a long time. I know it doesn't help much, but I'm sorry about your friends."

"Are you now?" Jack lightly swept forward with the wind catching his cloak. "Well first of all I would like to complain about sticking a breeding farm near my temporary lodgings and then allowing what appeared to be the owner of said breeding farm, Val something, forcing two of the things he was breeding, I think he called them Pinkies?, to start breeding in front of my companion..." He points back at Darwin. "..and myself whilst we are trying to make do with what we have been allocated. Then additionally allowing that cruel breeder to strap an explosive of some kinda to the creatures, as they apparently weren't performing to his expectations, and then blowing a hole in the airship." Jack stops and looks out over the sand dunes. "Next I would like to complain about how the Pilot is a drunkard and doesn't care about people's faces, particularly mine, and that he should be fired immediately for doing a bang up job of this craft." He faces Ryu again. "Finally I want to say that the rest of the staff is terrible and should be fired immediately. Did you get all that?"

OoC: @Nail, thanks, but now I have writers block and can't think of anything for them to do... so I'll lurk until that's fixed, unless anyone has an idea

Bullet nodded at Jensen, though she did take care of watching what he was doing just incase something happened. She looked away slightly. "It's... Thank you Adam, for giving me some comfort over it. It still hurts but... At least its something."

"Are you done making jokes? Or should I assume you're merely a lunatic without a scrap of sanity? And you're responsible for this craft crashing, I take it. You should be thanking the pilot for keeping you and everyone else alive. Though, I doubt you'll be alive much longer." Ryu replied keeping his face to Jack, but also keeping Darwin within sight at all times.
"Shall we end these games? Or do you wish to go on tour, first?"

Royce couldn't help but look over at Adam and Bullet. It was at that moment, after hearing part of their conversation, he wondered if he had been too quick to judge Bullet...even if she had judged him rather quickly and unfairly. He thought that he wasn't acting the same since being away from his friends and teammates. He thought about how he might treat her differently in the future.

 

[Random berk]

"Any time, Bullet. I'm going to be sticking around for the forseeable future, at least until we deal with this Overlords business, so if you ever want to talk, I'll be happy to listen." As he spoke, he stopped working on his forearm and the panels closed, allowing him to flex his wrist and fingers a few times to test tehm.

"Any sign of the carrier?" Balthier asked Zachariah after a while of being in thought silently.
