"Well, how many books does your father have? Does he know what is in each and every one of them?
Suddenly, I just thought of Momo's father's study and all it's 'books'. Quite a perverted man it seems he was...

In response to Bryce, the girl suddenly disappears. A moment and a "woosh" later, she's sitting back to back with Bryce, with her hands behind her head. [color=BB66BB] "Hello there, cowboy. I've seemed to have gotten myself a bit lost while looking for someone... Do you think you could help me out a bit?" [/color] She looks toward Bryce with vibrant purple, cat-like eyes.

"It is a posibility, no? I certainly never thought it posible a teleport crystal would take me to a place I didn't wish to go to. And yet here I am." Balthier said to Rozalin, raising an eyebrow slightly. He then looked back to Ryu and said, "This is the first time she has ever build a device that is capable of teleportation then?"

Bryce, startled by the teleportation, jumps forward and into space, falling down and screaming "SHIT!" just before he hit, his wings popped and he did a somersault in midair to be pointed back at the carrier deck,flying towards it. "Why'd you do that?!" he yells at the girl.

The girl lets out a [color=BB66BB] "Nyahahahaha!" [/color] before placing her hand on her chest in mock surprise. She talks to Bryce in a refined, but mocking tone. [color=BB66BB] "I apologize... I would have expected you to be more prepared to fall if you were sitting in such a position." [/color] She warps back toward the ground, kicking up a bit of dust as she reappears a distance away from the cowboy. She talked in a more serious tone as she crossed her arms. [color=BB66BB] "Now... back to the subject of the person I'm looking for..." [/color]

Bryce flaps over the girl and lands with a thud. "Yeah, go ahead." he dusted off his duster, and examined her. He tried not to gape at the ears, and examined the heartbreaker emblem. "Sabotage, or artillery heartbreaker?" he asked, pointing at the symbol.

"Well, I only read the books that my father sends to me. So of course he would know what is in each of them." Rozalin answered Ryu. Turning to Balthier, she said to him, "I still doubt it. Teleportation is a very complex procedure. One cannot simply activate it by reading some words off a tome. Although, having given it some thought after meeting that Rex fellow, I suppose I could have arrived here as the result of some attempt at summoning."

Spoiler: Incredibly late explanation for Rozalin showing up because I felt like writing it up!

A few hours shy of exactly two week ago In some podunk village on Veldime​

Five figures are around a cauldron, two are on their feet, while the other three are covered in severe burns as they lay next to it.

"Huh? Nothing happened. I thought this ritual was supposed to summon Overlord Zenon, why didn't anything happen?" One figure who was standing said, sounding rather indignant.

"It was. Something must have simply gone wrong. I wonder what though?" The second standing figure replied. "Ohhh, I know what I did wrong now. I must have accidentally used Grilled Dragon instead of Fried Dragon for the ritual. My mistake!" The figure said, sounding nonchalant.

The first standing figure groaned. "Are you kidding me? You almost killed Dad, Taro, and Hanako! How can you be so upbeat?"

"Well it's not my fault that Overlord Zenon stole my conscience. Or did you forget why we're trying to do this in the first place, Mr. Smarty-pants?"

The three figures on the ground all groaned in pain.

"Well at least your little screw up didn't kill them."

"Oh who do you take me for? The sacrifices were never in any real danger to being with."

"Man, Zenon must have messed up your conscience something fierce if you're calling your husband and kids 'sacrifices'."

"Are you still going on about that? We need to gather the materials again if we're to retry the summoning ritual. Chop-Chop! Momma wants to be human again already!"

The first figure just groaned in exasperation.

@Hatchy: S'alright. I was busy anyway as well.

[color=01B7FF]"Think nothing of it. As a ninja, I've been trained to be prepared to lay down my own life if necessary to accomplish a mission, zam. So I believe that I can somewhat relate, zam."[/color] She glanced over at Bryce and the new girl and muttered to herself, [color=01B7FF]"Impressive speed. I can't even see her moving, zam."[/color]

Holly gave a smile at Yukiaru, then looked at the new girl and let out a 'Oooo'. Holly walked behind the new girl and pulled on her top slightly to get her attention. "Excuse me....are you an Enderperson?" Holly asked the girl, seeing as her movement reminded Holly of a Endermen.

The girl's ears twitch a bit and she looks over toward Yukimaru. [color=BB66BB] "Thank you for the compliment. My speed is something I hold dear to my heart." [/color]

She shakes her head toward Holly. [color=BB66BB] "I'm afraid I have no idea what these "Enderpersons" are, little girl. I'd hope they aren't as fast as I am." [/color]

Tunning back to Bryce, she puts her hand to her chin, still with a smirk. [color=BB66BB] "My position back in my own dimension and the meaning of this symbol are unimportant at the moment. Have you seen a young man who..." [/color]

At this moment, one of the tails lights up and soon the light takes over her entire body. As the light dims, the girl has transformed into a spitting image of Rex. [color=008888] "looks like this...?" [/color] She still holds the same tone of voice from before although she sounds a hell of a lot like Rex.

"Well, she hasn't built much... But she spent her whole life studying and repairing machines. Besides, since we killed Myria, we need to do something." Ryu explains to Balthier.
What of those who do not have such power like the Brood? They cannot live without my protection.
Ryu shakes his head. That is not true... Life will continue without her protection. The power of the Brood is not destruction. It's the power to change the world...
He looks over to Rozalin. "Well, I don't know. I had assumed you were just grabbing books from his study. But what you suggests seems to support the idea that something else is at work here."

Bryce prepped a few biomorphs, thinking on whether the spear or his claws would be better to take on a teleporter. She might see some skin subtly shifting, like the muscles were straining.

"Oh...Well you move just like they do..." Holly said to the girl, then realized she got called 'little'. so she hopped up on her Plunger and said. "I'M NOT LITTLE DAMMIT!"

Black waited till she had finished her mouthful before replying to Royce. "I'm fine thank you.....and you?...." She asked Royce, then took a sip of her tea.
