Rozalin placed a hand on her chin in thought. "I've yet to rule out that possibility. My father does have many enemies. It could be entirely possible that some of them were trying to use me to get to him." She replied to Ryu.

Yukimaru's eyes went a little wider as she saw the new girl change into someone else, that particular bit of surprise over-riding how impressive she found her hearing to be. [color=01B7FF]Couldn't be...[/color] She hopped down off the ship to get closer to the new girl and asked, [color=01B7FF]"Excuse me, you wouldn't happen to be a shinobi, would you, zam?"[/color]

"Myria sought to protect the world from harm... Going so far as to command those who would follow her will to kill those she thought were a threat to the world. Myria was the true enemy of the Brood, and indeed the world, though she didn't see it that way." Ryu replied.
He looked to Rozalin. "I know that all too well. Princesses can make enticing targets for some people. Especially greedy people."

@Nail: Probably. But the 'cooling' thing is also as a side affect of prolonged use of her argamus... Need to find a replacement name for it.

Ratsel continued to watch until she hopped down herself.

Bullet's body was pretty cold now, but she didn't shiver at all.

Black raised an eyebrow at Royce. "Well at least your....cheerful about it....who shot you anyways?" Black asked Royce, then took another bite of her meal.

She gives a chuckle towards Holly and pats her head. [color=BB66BB] "Don't worry. I'm sure you'll grow a bit more soon." [/color] She looks toward Yukimaru and smiles again. [color=BB66BB] "You could say that, yes. Now I'd like you and your hooded friend to take a few steps back, if you enjoy living." [/color]

She ignores the enterance of Ratsel as she turns toward Bryce and pushes her katana out of it's sheath a bit. Her eyes narrow and her smile widens to reveal fangs. [color=BB66BB] "Now now... no need to get hostile, cowboy. My intentions aren't evil. However... if you insist on making me explain myself..." [/color] She unsheathes the blade to reveal a black katana with a neon red edge. She holds it in her left hand and enters an eccentric stance. [color=BB66BB] "...Show me what you can do." [/color]

 

[Chungus]

"They never do." Balthier said to Ryu. He glanced over to the figure who had been standing close to him ever since he sat up. [sub]Äre you still here? I had thought I made it clear I didn't appreciate your pressence"[/sub] he said under his breath. The figure tilted her head and seemed to say something. Though she no longer spoke in mute whispers, Balthier still couldn't make up what the figure was saying.

Ratsel looked mildly interested at the new girl and her katana. Now all we need is Rin...

The temperature in the medbay of the ship where Bullet was dropped slightly.

"...I think his name was Darwin. He was the guy with that mask wearing jerk." Royce said as he ate a bit.

Bryce grins, muscles straining as his biomorph went into effect. "Now now, I'm just making sure you're an alright person." his face grew pale, but the grin stayed. "I just wanted to ensure that good old rex wasn't going to be hurt." if anyone looked down, they'd see blood lesking from his pants, and the sand slowly turning crimson. "You know, I've never fought a teleporter before, and I've never tried this." Skin falls from his face, and reveals straining muscle and bone. "So this will be an expirement for me. See you in a bit..." suddenly, Bryce's body collapses, blood spewing out his pants cuffs into the sand, followed by a gray milky substance, ropy tendons, and finally gray. The clothes laid abandoned as his form sank in the sand.

"Indeed. I think that was the reason my father had me sequestered away from the outside world." Rozalin replied to Ryu, not being able to keep herself from sighing. She heard Balthier say something under his breath, but couldn't make out what he said. "What are you on about over there?" She shivered a little as the room seemed to get colder. "Did someone leave a window open?"

Yukimaru hopped back and drew a knife from behind her back as she saw the girl draw a weapon. [color=01B7FF]"Hold on! Why are you doing this, zam?"[/color] She backed off more as she noticed what happened with Bryce, seeming utterly disturbed by it.

"HEY DON'T UNDERMINE ME ILL BEAT YOU UP FOR THAT!" Holly said to the girl, as she hopped off her plunger and was about to 'assult' the girl, but she paused when she saw the blade. "On Sssecond thoughtsss...." Holly said as she grabbed her plunger and ran, hiding behind Ratsel for protection.

"I'm afraid I don't know him.....Is he an enemy of ours?" Black asked Royce.

 

[Saltyk]

"That is true. She even tried to get me to give up my power..." Ryu said to Balthier, then to Rozalin he says, "That must get boring. Are you sure you didn't run away?" Like a certain Princess I know. "I don't feel anything, though."

 

[Chungus]

Balthier looked back to Rozalin and shook his head slightly. "It doesn't matter." he said, then shivered slightly. "I thought it got colder in here. And here I was thinking that was only my imagination. No clue what is causing it, however. There are no windows here." Looking back at Ryu, he said, "Give it up? As in claiming it for herself?"

"[sub]What a marvelous sight he left us with...[/sub]" Ratsel sighed at Bryce/Caesar. She smiled at Holly. "Just stay calm Miss Holly. You'll be fine."

"I think it's safe to say he is." Royce said.

The girl's smile increased as she saw Bryce's form spill out onto the sand. [color=BB66BB] "Utterly disgusting, sir. I hope changing into something so grotesque is worth it."[/color] She slowly raises her sword vertically and mutters something under her breath. As soon as she finishes, she performs a spinning slash toward the bloodied sand before her. A large wall of flames suddenly erupts and moves forward through the sand as she reenters her stance.

She turns toward Yukimaru with an evil smile on her face. [color=BB66BB] "I'm simply doing what I came here to do. Anyone attempting to stop me dies, and I'm not one for letting others tell me what I can and cannot do. That's why your cowboy friend is burning right now." [/color]

Holly shook her slightly. "No no no no! Ssshe hasss a Sssword.....that Ssspellsss Death for usss Creepersss...." She said to Ratsel, but kept her eyes on the New girl.

"Right then.....Ill just keep a look out for him then.....ask him why he shot you...." Black said to Royce, she got up and cleaned up her plate.

"Giving it up, as in forsaking it. Myria was a God for all intents and purposes. As soon as we arrived in her presence she began to send all my friends away, speaking to each of them personally as she did so. The only thing that prevented it was the fact that one of them happened to be a sort of avatar for a being that transcended death. A powerful and ancient sage..." Still looked like an onion, though...
"Some of my people had actually survived the War by doing so to go into hiding." Ryu explained.

"Uh...you might not want to do that." Royce said as he followed Black.

Ratsel crouched down to Holly's level, smiling still. "Shhh... It's alright. I'm here. To protect you and the other's here. Don't you worry about it. If you ever feel threatened, come looking for me."

The temperature continued to drop slightly in the medbay, but Bullet's body didn't gain any heat yet.
