A green vortex of light of a portal was generated next to Ray. As he was about to step through, he heard Tophat speaking and lingered for a moment. "I suppose all anyone ever wants is to be remembered after they're gone. Quite the duty you got there." After speaking Ray stepped forward through the portal and disappeared into it. The portal remained open for Tophat to step through.

"Let me get back to you on that." Jessica telepathically replied to Loki. Since she couldn't see terribly clearly into the Abbey from her current position, she looked around for any sort of vantage point overlooking it she could possibly make use of. She grimaced a little at overhearing Loki's unpleasant thoughts. "You got something going on your end there, boss?"

 

[Kirke]

"As if I didn't have enough to do."
Tophat stepped through the portal.

Jessica would find that the best vantage point would be the balcony of the palace. The rooftops of other high building would provide a decent alternative, but none completely overlooked the abbey, it being only partially visible.

Indeed I do. I have found one of our targets by following a servant. Now I need only think of a means to kill her, without it being all too obvious what did it. Before you ask, however, I have a means of escape for when the deed is done. Loki answered, unaware that his thoughts had been transmitted earlier.

 

[Drakmorg]

After Tophat stepped through the portal, it'd find itself in an almost identical white room to the few it had recently seen. Ray wasn't anywhere to be seen, though a speaker embedded in the wall spouted his voice to deliver a message to Tophat. "Alright. Let's get you back where you came from." The portal behind Tophat closed, and after several moments, another opened up in the exact same spot. If Tophat were to step through this portal, he'd wind up back in the Rookie's hospital room.

Not wanting to gather suspicion from the palace guards for having a tendency to come and go, Jessica made her way to one of the nearby rooftops to observe the Abbey, picking the one with the best view of the giant hole in the Abbey roofs, or at least one with a decent chance of letting her see through the collapsed walls. "Right. Uh, good luck with that I suppose." Jessica telepathically replied to Loki.

 

[Kirke]

Tophat stepped through to the Rookie's hospital room, nodding in greeting to him. The Rookie nodded back, a bit weary at Tophat's newfound body.
"You know how to use the scroll, and I have much to do. I'm afraid we very well may never meet again. If we do not, I would simply like to say that it has been a pleasure and a honour."
It extended a hand, and the two shook hands.
"Farewell." - Tophat said before leaving the room, quickly leaving the hospital.

(To Jessica: [small][sub]All unfinished buisness taken care off... I was thinking that I might as well begin in the magic kingdom. Their capital is north of the continent, correct?[/sub][/small])

From her new position, Jessica was able to partially look through the hole in the roof of abbey, as well as one of the walls in the eastern part of the well, both viewpoint would give Jessica a fairly good idea of what the eastern part of the main hall of they abbey looked like.
There was no further reply from Loki.

Jessica stayed on her building-top perch and observed the areas of the Abbey she could see, making note of whether or not she saw much in the way of movement from the people aside. "Huh?...Who's that?" She telepathically replied, Tophat's weak sounding mental voice due to the distance making it difficult for Jessica to discern that it was even Tophat telepathically speaking to her.

 

[Kirke]

(To Jessica: [small][sub]It is Tophat.[/sub][/small])

 

[Drakmorg]

Jessica had to think over what she mentally heard for a few moments before she was able to decipher the weak speech. "Oh! Tophat! You're back. You get what you need then?"

 

[Chungus]

Jessica would find that there was movement at irregular intervals as workers moved to and from the main hall to one of the side chambers.

After looking around the room and having noted that no guards were likely to see the princess from where they stood in the courtyard, Loki looked around to see if there was anything with which he could make it look like an accident had occured, finding no such thing. Thinking on it more, Loki stepped back whilst reaching for his pendant to contact Jessica again.

Jessica, would you happen to posses a substance, or perhaps ability, to render a person unconscious or vast asleep? he telepathically asked.

 

[Furioso]

Rita was walking around the city.

 

[Drakmorg]

Jessica got off the rooftop she had placed herself on, intending to attempt to view the Abbey from another angle. As she got to street level again, she received Loki's mental message. "Let me see...I could stun someone. Couldn't really knock someone unconscious though. Not without probably also killing them..." She telepathically replied to Loki.

 

[Chungus]

Hearing Jessica's answer, Loki thought for a moment, eventually answering, If this would kill a person, would the cause of death be visible, and if so, what would the indicators be? As Loki telepathically asked this, he entered the bathroom adjecant to the room he was in and insepcted the tiles.

From street level, Jessica would find little of note, with the damage done being primarily to the roof and south wall.

Rita contacted Loki and Jessica, How's everything going on your fronts?

 

[Kirke]

(To Jessica: [small][sub]Back and ready to start fixing this world. A way to the magic kingdom capital would be appriciated, if you have one.[/sub][/small])

Having remembered where most of the damage had been done from her walk-around of the place, Jessica made to move to a rooftop that would given her a better vantage point of the South wall. "Uh...probably, and a pretty big bruise at the very least." Jessica telepathically replied to Loki, with Rita hearing it well due to her opening of communications. "Apparently we're working on a plan." She transmitted to Rita in reply to her question. Hearing Tophat as well, she then focused on replying solely to him. "I could give you a way up here I suppose. Where are you exactly?" All the mental communication was beginning to put a strain on Jessica's brain, so she had to start rubbing her temples.

 

[Kirke]

(To Jessica: [small][sub]I am in the lobby of the Lakewest clinic, four meters north-east of the door.[/sub][/small])
Tophat noticed the slight strain through Jessica's transmission.
(To Jessica: [small][sub]You don't need to send the messages to me, just label the thoughts you want me to hear and I will hear them.[/sub][/small])

Recieving telepathic messages from both Rita and Jessica at roughly the same time, Loki lightly shook his head, the expirience being somewhat desorientating.
I do believe this will work nicely... It will take some minor further planning, but still. Loki mentally answered Jessica as he looked at the tiles. Looking back up and leaving the bathroom, Loki saw that Ine had taken a few steps back from the painting she was working on, appraising it from afar. The painting was half way done. The basic features having been painted, but the colouring was still lacking, this gave Loki an indicator of how much time he had, believing Ine would leave the room once she was done with the painting. Go to the place where Fafnir lays, I shall meet you there shortly. Having said that, Loki opened the door of the room slightly, just enough that he could see outside, then warped out, closing the door behind him.
As he began making his way through the hallways of the palace, he focused on Rita to telepathically speak to her. I have found that princess we met some time ago, and concocted a plan to see her meet her end. Jessica and myself are now making preperation to see it done. he explained. As he left the palace, he further asked, How for does your control over the elements go? Can you uplift stones from the earth like the sorcerers here can?

 

[Furioso]

"Of course, what do you need me to do?" communicated Rita to Loki.

 

[Drakmorg]

Jessica gave the mental equivalent of a nod to both Tophat and Loki. Finding a discrete place where she wouldn't be seen, she teleported out of Shantaio and into Lakewest. Meeting up with Tophat, she'd direct him to someplace where the two likely wouldn't be seen, then used her normal teleportation to take both herself and Tophat up to Shantaio, as far from the gates while still being on the island as possible.
