Ness frowned to herself as she listened to Loki and Jess. Topple this land...? ... He wants to take it over for himself. But Jess wouldn't be trying to help someone take a throne unfittingly... unless that 'enlightenment' she got was really brainwashing. I understand now...

Not wanting to be frantic, she simply sat by and listened a little more.

OoC @Dot: Wait, wut? Didn't Ness go back to the hotel?

Marcus watched Port Letosh from afar. "Okay then, Fang reports indicate this is where they dropped the Queen's pod. We go in, and see if it has any links to the call Lyra received from the Fang general about Xenomorphs controlled by humans. You know how it will go from here." Xyleena nodded, on all fours and staring out at the gates. "Want to walk in with me as something you caught? Might get us entrance." Marcus shook his head. "No, that will get us caught. I'll go on ahead, hope they don't have metal detectors..." with that, he began the walk toward Letosh, wondering what was hidden inside.

Bryce sighed, walking through Holadino for the fourth time, wondering where the hell Ness had gotten to. shrugging to himself, he decided that if he couldn't find her soon he'd move on.

After the duo finished talking, she'd wait a while before walking off and teleporting back to the hotel. (or not, if she's caught somehow.)

I thought you were going to finish the conversation overnight, but it was time bubbled, so Ness would still be there.
I don't know what to do here.

"Kay. I can do that. I'd need a little more time for each one after the first few though." Jessica replied to Loki. "Anyway, what's the plan here? I'm not entirely sure what we're doing for the moment. Are we really just gonna do the job that they gave us?"

OoC @Dot: Well, they did finish the conversation inside the city. Loki asking Jess about the portals happened well outside the city walls.

"Of course. I explained this, did I not?" Loki said to Jessica, looking at her over his shoulder. Walking around more, he blew on his fingers again. This time, Fafnir heard Loki's call, and with a roar of acknoledgement, took to the skies and flew towards him.

Marcus and Xyleena would find that Port Letosh was still under heavy guard.

The warden began moving towards the cell block Tophat was kept in now, passing a checkpoint on the way.

"Sir? What are you doing?" one of the two prison guards stationed at that checkpoint asked.

Estella continued to read through files. The prison break... Hundreds of prisoners attempted to escape. The warden and several guards were murdered, and the one behind the break was never caught. Hmm... I think I can use this. What if...? Picking up her pencil again, Estella placed the end of it in her mouth as she thought.

OoC: @Nail: Wasn't Tophat itself kept with the rest of the stuff? Like in a storage room?

@Nail: Eh...? She would've caught on Loki saying "Come." and followed suit that way.

Marcus, alone, approached the entrance to Port Letosh. "Looking to enter the Port." he said to the guards, rubbing his flesh covered head.

Rita again had nothing to add.

"Oh, uh, yeah. I just forgot that you did was all." Also it seems kinda off-track and like a waste of time... Jessica replied to Loki, keeping her concerns and criticisms to herself as she stood nearby.

OoC @Dot: If that's the case, he would have noticed her following, without the crowd to cover her and all, and wouldn't have brought this up. So I guess I should edit things from post 21078?

I wish to see them." she demanded, then remembered the name Tophat gave upon introducing itself, and Rita's claims. "Anything but the hat. In fact, place the hat in its own cell."

"What is your busines here?" the guard asked Marcus in turn.

"Not really much of one. Been wandering, decided to pop by Port Letosh and see how she fairs. Been a little while since my last visit, but I thought it would be worth it." Marcus explained. "So, do you guys want to search me, or what?"

OoC: @Nail: My post is right after Estella left, so I thought they wouldn't have time to do that.

@Nail: True. Once she realized there was no cover, she'd have given up. Retcon, retcon.

Ness woke up in her hotel room, gritting her teeth slightly. "So... they're heading off to the Wild Lands... I don't have a reason to try and stop them... yet." ...The thing is... that other girl had the same color eyes as Jess... The odds are way too low for something that noticable to be seen over different dimensions... Then again, these are different dimensions I'm talking about here...

She groaned a small bit before walking out of the hotel and moving toward the government building. Are they working for the King...? ...That might be a good thing, but that man just seems to put me off... I still don't trust him.

OoC: @Dot, wait, Ness is suspicious because 2 people have the same eye color...?

@Furi: It's more the fact that she knows that Jess' eyes changed to that color and that the enlightenment had helped with her mind. Why would someone else (who's probably not a psion like Jess) have the same enlightened eyes?

That and Jess has been actively avoiding telling her much about her work.

OoC @Kirke: Well, Estella ordered everything but Tophat itself be brought. I guess I should've specified this better. However, one would have to pass through several checkpoints to go from a warden's office to a cell block. So eitherway, my post is still valid.
@Dot: Enlightened eyes is just a natural colour blue, however.

Once Fafnir landed, Loki mounted the sadle, and once Rita and Jessica did the same, would take to the skies, intentionally flying over the city itself before heading towards the Wild Lands.

The guard shook his head. "No, you may enter." he answered Marcus, then look over his shoulder. "Open the gates."

As the gates open, Marcus would see more forces were patrolling the town, these forces consisting of foot soldiers, mechs, and the occasional GRUNT. The latter patrolled only near the more important buildings.

 

[Kirke]

Tophat quickly locked down the minds of the two guards, making them have a momentary memory loss. This would also mean they'd forget that the warden ever walked towards them. Tophat forced to warden to go back to his office, then search through Tophat's possessions.
Now, what did she do? Plant evidence, I'd assume. - It thought before finding the chalk.
Tricky. But it will not work.
The warden took the chalk, placing it in a drawer, before returning Tophat's possessions where they were supposed to be.

(To Ness: Greetings, this is Tophat. I am afraid I have some bad news.)

Marcus began walking through town, noting the various structures the GRUNTs patrolled. he wandered his way through the city, inevitably finding his way to the docks after visiting most of the rest of the city.
