Loki had followed Estella around, waiting for the chance where he could speak to her privately, or at least tell her to go somewhere where he could. This lead him to the now heavily guarded medical wing where Estella sat by Ardimas' bedside. Although his healing was a success, he still needed time to recover entirely.
"How are you doing, sir?" Estella asked, being more soft-spoken then she normally would.
His throat still hurting too much for him to speak, Ardimas instead used a telepathic necklace to answer. I'm in a hospital bed, not on duty. No need to be so damn formal.
Estella looked at Ardimas for a time before laughing. "Of course. Sorry." She looked away for a moment, pausing. "Things really have been a mess lately, haven't they?"
Ardimas feeble nodded, groaning after, the movement hurting him. Yeah. War brings out the worst in people... Ardimas too, looked away, before asking, How're you holding up in all of this?
"Same as ever. I do what I must."
Ardimas laughed at the responce, the laugh being short-lived, interupted by his hurting throat. What did I say about being formal? How do you really feel?
"I wish things would settle down already. All this fighting, it's all so pointless. We could accomplish so much more if we'd just settle down, you know?" Estella answered, her answer being answer being influenced by Loki's mindcontrol.
Loki grunted as he heard Estella talk. Bah. Pitiful human sentiments. An inprovement on what it would have been, certainly. But pitiful none the less. Seeing he wouldn't get a chance to instruct Estella to leave without Ardimas notcing Estella's reaction to him, however subtle it might be, he wander off a bit, moving towards the section where Ine laid. You certainly look to be in a sorry state. Quite the amusing sight, in truth. We must have truly done some damage if you in such a state still, despite the healing powers of the people here. he thought upon seeing Ine laying in a coma.
