Rita had stopped a cow beastkin. "Sure thing, ma'am. This is Everwood. Are you here to purchase some wood? You can go to the forestry department at the center of town if so. Or you can come to have a bite to eat at the resturante that I work at. I think we're about to set up the Night of Jamongi, soon, if you;re here for that." She offered.

"Those will be 10 Gold, sweety." The shopkeeper told Echo.

When one of the imps was hit, the others scattered. There was no more laughter in the air, now. Loki would soon arrive at Everwood.

Dal'Sheed chuckled at her enthusiasm. "Nice to meet you too."

"That should be fine." Jessica said to the clerk. She had no idea if that was a fair price or not, but Echo had enough for them, so she really didn't care if it was a rip-off or not. "Yeah, I'll just take these."
Glancing over at Echo, she noticed that she had picked something out. She added to the clerk, "Alright then! Can you ring up me and my friend here so we can be on our way? Oh, and is there somewhere I can change?"

Somewhere between the altar and the Xiphatian base, a thunderstorm began, then, after only a few minutes of heavy rain and lightning, stopped.
A bolt of lightning slammed into the ground as the storm began to dissipate, and left behind a young woman, with long silver hair, and a longer overcoat.
She looked around at her new surroundings, and raised her left hand, which glowed yellow. A holographic screen appeared in front of her, tinted slightly blue, with a redheaded man in the centre.

"Holy fucking shit, it worked. Or, we sent you to the back garden. But I'm assuming it worked, otherwise you'd be kicking in the door right n-" he rambled.
"Just shut up and help me find this guy."
"I'm scanning for any GPS satellites above the planet. Keep the link going, but try and explore. That should help us in the meantime."

The screen shrank and hovered just above the woman's wrist as she began wandering through the land.

Echo brought out the appropriate amount of money to pay for the cloths, then she tried to ask the clerk if she could get a bigger pack, through mime of course. She gave Sable a confused look.

Tao looked around in the store and looked for food.

Makoto smiled at the group, then turned back to the wild man. "Come with us. We can get you food, shelter, and help, allright? Just take my hand."

"Wood? Why would I... nevermind, what's the Night of Jamongi?" said Rita, who found the beastkin intriguing more than strange.

"they're coming from another planet." Lyra explained. "From the stars." she corrected herself. "Some of the stars don't have planets around them, after all."

"If you were able to speak, what would you want to say, or what idea would you like to convey through words?"

The young man came forward a little more confidently, then stopped and glanced around as if just remembering something. He stretched his hands out to either side, took in a deep breath and let it out slowly, then concentrated. His discarded bone sword and shell dagger lifted slowly off the ground, then returned to his hands, and he fitted them onto the tattered remains of his belt. When he pushed his cloak aside he once again briefly exposed the tubular metal device on the belt, which up close could be seen to be tarnished and damaged, with a crack running most of its length. Inside was exposed circuitry and a hollow chamber where something was missing. Then he let the cloak fall back into place. Reaching out to Makoto he hesitated for a moment, then took her hand.

"And good riddance..." Loki snarled softly as the imps scattered. Lowering his staff, he continued onwards, at last ariving in Everwood not long after. Looking around, he imediately noticed Everwood's population entirely consisted of beaskin.

This is not at all the oppressed race I imagined these beings to be. He thought as he walked further into the town.

Makoto stole a glance at the metal tube before his cloak slid back into place. She made a mental note to try and find out what it was later, then smiled to the wild man reassuringly and turned to the group. "So, where's this town?"

"Then, nowhere. You can't land on this planet. As far as I know, spacecraft always crash should they try to exit the atmosphere. Trying to enter would likely have the same result." Savranth explained to Lyra.

Seeing that the Wild Man was more or less relaxed, he said. "Shall we move along?"

"Those will be 2 Gold... Dear?" The shopkeeper said to Saya.

"So, that will be 23 Gold all told, the? And yes, you can change in the back." The Clerk told Jessica.

"It's a celebration of Good Will and alcohol." The beastkin explained.

Did NOT know this place's inhabitants were aware of the other worldly.

Echo tried to get the clerks attention and mime her question again. She continued to give Sable a confused look, as she was always thinking of things to say, but she didn't know how to convey this fact to him without words.

Saya dug out 2 gold coins and 1 silver piece and put them on the table. "Keep the...change human..." She said to the shopkeeper, as she tied and attached the yellow ribbon and bells to her staff. she shook it a little to make sure it jingled.

"Oh. So we're stuck here then?" Lyra asked. "And I'm not going to tell them to not come. I'll just inform them that the planet causes crashes, and they can put together a landing pod that should hold itself together in the atmosphere."
