Rita continued to head deeper into the forest, watching her surroundings carefully.

"Is that what she is? I was wondering that." He said to Adam.

"I've heard some stories about people that act like that." Cynane said to Makoto. "Sometimes they're just simple. Other times, rarely, you hear of feral kids. There was a story of a young man near a village not far from mine about some guy who was found living with a pack of blangos, as vicious and wild as any of them. I didn't believe it at the time, but this guy kind of reminds me of that."

"Er, sorry..." Echo said as she looked down at the ground. She then tried to mime getting warm cloths.

Tao started purring as she enjoyed the warmth.

Lyra turned from the others, saying "Excuse me." she quickly went to work, tapping at her bracer. A screen popped up showing she was receiving a transmission from... "The clanging Claymore?!" she said, visibly surprised. she quickly answered the call, to be blasted with a hissing noise.

Makoto turned to Adam, suddenly angry. "Hey, I don't like calling anyone that, allright?! But there was just no other way to describe this guy." She took a few deep breaths, then turned to Cynane. "Poor kids..." She looked back at the man. "Any way we can help him?"

Saya smiled, then fireball eventually burned out. "Hmm..." Saya muttered as she tired to get up with Tao still on her, making her general direction that of the shops.

"I suppose we should head for Lakewest to decide what we're going to do."
Adam looked at Makoto. "How about 'mentally ill'? 'Animal' works, though. I was just saying..."

The woman let out a long sigh, and climbed in.
"If this doesn't work I will turn your balls into mush."
The orb began to spin, and crackled with electricity...

"That's one vote for Lakewest. What about the rest of you. It is probably the least out of the way..." Savranth asked the group.

"Sadly, sir, I am not familiar enough with Xiphatian magic to confirm or deny any of these things. Should we try enlightening a mage?" Roland replied.

The Imps continued to follow them, moving in the trees. Laughing. Waiting to strike again.

Rita would eventually come out to a road in the forest. It would seem that there is a settlement nearby.

Cynane shrugged.
"No idea. I never heard what happened to that guy. For all I know whoever found him could have killed him along with the blango pack. He seems to have calmed down at least." And indeed he had. The nuts were gone and while the man was clearly in a state that would take more than a packet of nuts to fix, he now looked those who were still watching him with reserved wariness rather than outright panicked fury.
"I wonder how old he is. Its hard to say with all that muck on him."

Dal'Sheed slowly steps away as Adam makes another quip to Makoto, but continues to think about where to go.

"Well, my vote's for Lakewest. Rockbyrd can wait."

Tao followed after Saya, practically hanging off of her.

Echo just pouted at what Sable said. Then she scratched her head when she didn't say anything he said.

Makoto turned to Adam. "Sorry. I've had some... bad expirences... due to the whole "squirrel" thing. I've kinda come to expect the worst." She adressed Cynane. "Wouldn't hurt to try, would it? And god knows, frankly..." She looked at Savranth. "I'm all for going to a town. Maybe we can take this guy with us, try to get him some help."

Rita decided to follow the road to the settlement. She didn't really know what she would do when she got there, she hoped she could relax a bit.
