Saya led Tao along trying to find the others. "there cold...and have no food?" she asked Tao.

Makoto looked at Cynane. "Hmm? Did you say some... wait a second.." She noticed the tophat. "Is that hat talking to you by any chance?"

OoC: @Gear: Now Tophat is out in the open, and pretty close to Makoto. If you want them to notice each other, this is probably the best opportunity there'll be in some time.

OOC: The man in the cart isn't insane, he's feral. Well, assuming you make a distinction between the two. Point is, he can still think rationally, but he's conditioned towards living alone in an extremely hostile environmentwithout sentient contact of any kind. And he's also very young, though I'll say how young later, once he gets cleaned up. And I did consider having Cynane ask the others whether 'they'd ever had something inexplicably crazy happen to them, like 'someone claiming to be a hat talking to them in their own head or something like that'.

Drifting by the shopping district and hearing some familiar voices, Ness wanders into the store that Jess, Echo, and Sable are in. She looks up from her book slightly surprised. "Oh good... I found you guys. I was wondering if you had gone on without me."

Yukino continues on her wayward trip to Rockbyrd.

Dang, I only have 44 on me. Meh, I'll take the small room this time if they have one. "I'm going to book a room for myself then. He walked over to the inn and opened the door. "Hello?"

Evaline paused as she thought about the last couple of festivals. "I'll be honest, each person reacts to it slightly different. Although it might also depend on the batch because the fireflies might be slightly different each year. Mostly people often experience what most like to call 'magic burps'. They aren't dangerous, but in the moment having a large cloud of purple sparks fly out in front of you can be quite interesting as you could imagine. I distinctly remember last year, one human nose glowed red for the night." She chuckled. "It was quite amusing."

OoC: @Random Well what Tophat saw was a momentary glance and even then everything was clouded in strong emotions. So Tophat pretty much sensed nothing but chaos.

Adam would walk by the old drunk's house with a For Sale sign out front, on the way to the Bar.

Yukino would eventually start seeing the ground become more dry and less lush as she say mountains in the distance.

"That sounds an awful lot like Telepathy to me....Why didn't I think of that?" Jessica said to Sable, then aloud to herself. Hearing Ness, she turned and waved at her. "Echo and I just had to grab a few things. Then I was planning on swinging by the Inn again to make sure you didn't get left here." She explained. "Thanks, you too." Jessica reflexively replied to the shopkeeper. Then she stood near the door, waiting for Echo to come out of the back room, ready to leave.

Noel and Charlotte had entered one of the many streets in the Lakewest Residental area. Noel still kept her armor on nevertheless.

Echo finished changing, then walked out with her pants and her old pack shoved into her new one. She waved at Ness when she said her. She looked at Sable, now very confused. Is he...how is he... she thought.

"No FREE food, which is just as bad as no food, meow." Tao said to Saya as she followed her.

"Makoto Nanaya, remember? We met a while back."

 

[Random berk]

Cynane did a double take between Makoto and Tophat.
"Wait... You can hear it? You know it? Oh. Wow." She breathed a deep sigh of relief, then leaned back until she was lying flat on Stripe's ridged back. Any less fit or experienced rider couldn't have maintained their balance in such a position.
"Thank the Wyvern Spirits for that." Looking back at Makoto from her upside down position she stretched out an arm with Tophat in it.
"You want to hold onto that, if this is some kind of reunion?"
