"Well I do remember someone with a hand-cuff showing up the first day I was here. I couldn't tell you where he is now though, I tried to keep my distance from him."

Noel continued to look rather dreamily into the distance.

Adam turned a corner into the shopping area of town, spotted Rowena, and immediately backtracked.

"Yes, sand has a tendency to get into places that it doesn't belong." He waves his hand and blows some sand away with a gust of wind. "A bad tendency that."

"I'll let the fool with the obvious death wish go first. I'm not usually so kind. Would you like me to use one of my many weapons or not? I have such a large collection." Icarus said pointing to a vast array or weapons, axes, swords, spears, maces, and other assorted items, all made of mythril, along a wall. "If you so desire you can choose it." He said with a grin.

Loki laughed as Rita remarked she wasn't afraid. "No?" he asked, leaning a bit closer. "Shall we attempt to seek out this "Lost Child", then? If it indeed appears only under the cover of darkness, now would be an oppertune moment to do so."

Yukino just shrugs at Icarus' taunt. [color=bb66bb] "I don't care what you use, kid. I'd suggest using your favorite. I've got mine right here..." [/color] She unsheathes her katana, its edge glowing neon red, and waits for Icarus to decide with a decidedly bored look on her face.

Although she vaguely remembered Adam telling the group his name, she shook her head. "Adam... sounds familiar, but like my friend here, I have no clue as to his whereabouts. My apologies."

Some of the sand blew into Noel's face, as she made a sputtering noise, but then resumed her dreamily stare at nothing.

"So what happens now though? We went to that magi-college and it seems that someone wants to promote more war."

Hearing about war, Noel's gaze lessened slightly.

Rita's heart sunk when she realized Loki had trapped her. It's ok Rita, you've handled ghost ships, you can handle this! she thought

"Oh well. It's not like anybody is in immediate danger." she said. "So, what are you two doing in this strange world?"

"Well, it seems as though, Legaia choose this war, right? Do we have a choice in the matter?" Savranth replied and thought for a second.

"Fine, I'll meet your blade with a head cleaver." Icarus says as he goes and picks up a giant axe off the wall. To a normal man, it would be heavy, but he carried it like it was nothing, likely due to his large frame.
"Let's begin."

"It is settled then." Loki remarked mischievously, then turned towards Evaline. "Madam, I have a proposal to make!" he called out, sounding eager.

Ness nods toward Rowena. "We're on a... scientific expedition of sorts." She keeps her mouth closed about the anomaly for the moment.

Yukino yawns at the large blade and slowly sways around a bit. [color=bb66bb] "About time, dammit." [/color] She quickly dashes at the large man and suddenly slashes upward at his ribs.

After a lot of walking, Tao and Saya find themselves at the beach Charlotte and Noel are at. "Hi you too!" Tao shouts as she rushed over to them. She hugs Noel tightly when she reaches her. Saya takes note of this.

Icarus moves to the side, far faster than a man of his size should be able to to dodge the blade, holding the axe in his right hand he sweeps his left hand at Yukino, but he doesn't hit her, instead a powerful gust of wind blows her back several feet.

He merely smirks.

"Perhaps they are scared? Scared of what magic could do to their technology?" Noel spoke up, still looking at nothing but the water. As Tao hugged her, Noel was still looking at the water, but she said. "Hello there Tao..."

Charlotte tilted her head at Noel's comment then looked back to Savranth. "There has to be alternative... [sub]somewhere.[/sub]"

"Well, I'm trying to find out just what occurred to bring all sorts of people, like the man you're after, to this dimension to begin with." Jessica answered Rowena. She placed the palm of her hand on her forehead rather quickly after finishing what she was saying. "Which reminds me, I really ought to get going now. Sorry. It was nice to meet you though. Good luck on your manhunt." She said to Rowena. She slowly started to walk off, not intending to leave Echo and Ness behind, but more to signal that she was ready to leave now.

"One moment sir." She called over to Loki, turning back to the beastkin she was serving. "So one honey mead, and an order of roasted chicken legs. You have good taste sir." She smiled, walking off to the bartender, Sam and then to Loki and Rita. "Yes? How can I help you?"

As she walked she seemed to walk ever so slightly faster than one would expect, like she was using magic to do so.
