"If we cannot?" Loki began. "Well, then I say it would only be fair we relief you of your duties for the remainder of the night." he answered, then grinned. "But I assure you, it shall be us who will be victorious in this wager. Once I have a goal, I will see to it this goal is met with success." he added, then turned towards the door.

"Now then..."

"Oh-hoho! Really now. Why would I try and get the only one in this town of morons who has common sense killed? I assure you, no one will mind that there's one less imp in the world." Chafla dismissively answered Lyra.

"20 years have passed since then. Both nations blame each other and that is the official story. The odds that we would find anything are minimal. And would that solve our current issue?" Savranth asked. "It might solve a 20 year old mystery, but in practical terms it solves nothing."

Icaurus jumped to the side to avoid the wave. "That won't be necessary. You've only survived this long because of that fact. But shall I show you what pain is? Can you handle it?" He asks as he yet again lazily sweeps his left hand at Yukino creating another wave of wind to push her back.

Now that she noticed that Echo was following, Jessica picked up her pace a bit as she left Lakewest and continued down the coast of the lake, intending to follow it all the way around to the Legaian city on the opposite side.

Steiner came around to Tao and gave her a bop on her head. "It's the thought that counts" He said noticing Noel's armour

Yukino lets out another yawn as she cuts through the wind blast with her scythe again. [color=bb66bb] "All I heard and felt from you is a shit ton of hot air, feel free to wake me up once you feel like actually entertaining me." [/color] She continues to walk toward Icarus halving the distance his initial blast had opened for him.

Ness presses her hat down a bit as she runs to keep up with Jessica's pace.

"If you insist." Icarus drops the axe and slowly walks towards Yukino. "Just try and hit me." He taunted.

"Well lets think back for awhile. Has there been any signs of Legaian aggression before we showed up?" Noel just sighed at Tao not really wanting to explain armor plates.

Yukino calmly snaps her fingers as the mist around her starts to thicken a bit. Two black holes appear to either side of her and two black projectiles shoot out of them. They fly at Icarus at almost supersonic speeds before causing medium-sized explosions near him. Yukino stops her advance and her eyes change to an icy blue. [color=bb66bb] "Tch." [/color]

As Loki and Rita left the bar they were greeted by the cooler night air, there were still a few beastkins wandering around the area, but the town was fairly asleep. A small rustle in the wind swept some leaves across their path.

For quite a while nothing interesting came about from the trek to the Legaian town, the sandy beach of the lake glistened in the moon's light as the waves washed up on the shore gently. Someone with good eyes, or another sense they might notice what looked like a large tidal pool from the tide going out. It woould house many species of fish and crustaceans.

Echo was still fallowing.

"Hey, why do you have to hit me like that! Meow!" Tao said as she glared at Steiner. She also got behind Noel to avoid being hit.

 

[Saltyk]

"I met you guys on my way to investigate a Legaian spy station that was set up within Xiphatian territory. They were obviously trying to keep it secret and using it to plot an attack. Not a day passed before the attacked the base, with a force larger than what was there. That indicates a rather aggressive intent. They even tried to kill those who spotted them." Savranth recalled.

"Not bad." Icarus said from beside Yukino. A hand placed on his wounded left arm, already healing it, back to normal. "You almost got me with that one, but fortunately, being a master of wind magic comes with certain benefits."

Yukino's body would freeze, she was unable to move a muscle on her own. Icarus steps in front of her now, fully healed. "As does being a Master of Puppetry magic. Now don't blink. You won't want to miss this."
With that Icarus took to punching and beating a defenseless Yukino, taking pleasure in his own cruelty.

Rita asked Loki "I don't suppose you have a plan or anything?"

Jessica slowed down as she noticed the tidal pool, as her vision was quite good in the dark, but didn't stop completely. As she noticed all the fish and crustaceans swimming around in the pool, she thought to herself, I should take some time and sample some of the local cuisine at some point while I'm here.

"Because it is socially and morally wrong young cat! You must break this awful habit of yours. Have you ever tried exercise to get your mind off things"

As Loki left the bar and felt the breeze against his face, he closed his eyes for a moment and inhaled the air. Today shall be a pleasant night. Opening his eyes again, he saw Roland following after him. "No need to follow us. Without anything to defend yourself with, it would prove most unwise to enter a forest at night. Remain here, see the wonders of this place, speak to the people if they are willing. Once I return, tell me if they have anything like what you see here on Earth." Loki said to Roland, phrasing it casually, but intending it to be an order to spy on Everwood.

"Yes, sir." Roland replied, then walked off. As he did this, Loki turned in the opposite direction.

"A plan? It was mentioned this Lost Child appears as a green light in the forest. I suppose that is what we will need to look for."

"True, but anything regarding a few years back before we got here? Say, I dunno 5 to 10 years?" Noel said, rubbing her chin for awhile.
