Ness looks over the pond glistening with a smile. She squints a bit as she notices the tidal pool. Consumed by her curiousity, she begins to walk toward it, interested in the sealife there.

Hearing the voice behind her, Yukino's ears twitch slightly and she drops her scythe as Icarus locks her in place. Taking the beating, she manages to stare the man dead in the face with a slight smile as she beats her. [color=bb66bb] "Ah~... That face... That's a lot better look for you..."

[/color] Although, since she couldn't move her lips, that sentence came out kind of.. awkward. The two rips in space reopened and shot out projectiles again. They explode right in both of the combatants faces, sending Yukino sliding across the floor, a trail of blood following behind her. The mist around the foxgirl thickens even more as she mutters something under her breath.

"Tao doesn't think it's very wrong. I think it's wrong to go around hitting whoever you want, meow!" Tao replied indignantly.

Echo also looks at the pool, curios about it.

The waves continued to roll along the beach as Jessica continued her approach. The rocky areas had various pockets where teh aquatic life would be. There were even some fish that glowed in the dark, although the glow was quite weak. Several rocks also had barnacles attached to them, these rocks seemed to be quite wet even though the tide wasn't anywhere near these. Several crabs scurried away as the group approached.

"Well the rest of the world thinks it's wrong. So I don't think you can win this argument and I hit you so you would stop that"

"No." Loki answered as he looked around. "Since the appiration was said to appear at random, going blindly in a direction may well lead to us searching, yet never finding a thing. However, since this "ghost" appearantly has been "haunting" this town since the day it was founded, it stands to reason that it will seek out us." he explained. While not being able to see in the dark as well as in the light, Loki's eyes were better suited to the darkness then most, so he had little trouble telling what he was looking at up until a certain distance away. "It also was mentioned it lures others with its laugh."

 

[Saltyk]

"Over the past eleven years, since the peace treaty, there has been no aggression on either side, as far as I know. And my father has been stationed at the Forward Defense Base for a long time, so I doubt we have made any." Savranth replies.

Icarus had managed to escape the brunt of the blast, but just barely. He stared at the little Fox Girl angrily. "Little brat. Do you know who I am? I shall overthrown Xiphatian and Legaia. I'll rise above them both. Not Garzic, his brat Valentino, or Sebastion will be able to stop me. Now, foolish girl, remember your place."
He said as he continued the healing process. "At my feet. All belong at my feet. And the ground belongs far below my feet."

Giant flies begin to appear within the castle as they start to swarm over Yukino. "Take her away. Drop her outside my city and let the scavengers pick her bones."

As Icarus said, one of the giant creatures picks her up and flies her outside of the Rockbyrd city limits.

Jessica's curiosity over the tidal pools grew to an overwhelming degree when she caught a glimpse of glowing fish. She walked over to the tidal pools and began looking around and examining the wild-life. It must be pretty nice to not have to import all of your seafood. She pondered with a sigh as she looked in and around the pools.

 

[Furioso]

"Ok... let's get started then." said Rita as she approached the edge of the forest, stopping at one of the trees and looking around while listening for the laugh. Her knees were shaking ever so slightly

Ness took a few pictures and scans some of the wet rocks and the glowing sealife with her PDA. Ah... Finally something that actually feels like a break... Heh, maybe I should go swimming <3.

As the fly drops her off, it suddenly bursts open as a scythe pierces through its abdomen. Yukino slowly rises up off the sandy floor and continues her muttering under her breath. A green light wraps around her for a moment and her injuries begin to heal at an accelerated rate. The black mist dissipates and she flops onto the desert floor looking up at the starry sky. [color=bb66bb] "Well, that almost got fun. Maybe I should go back and bother him again sometime~!" [/color] She hums a bit happily as the healing chant takes effect as she rests up.

"So then why now? Why so sudden? If there had been accounts of even some relatively suspicious activity then it would have made sense, but nothing... Has there even been a talk about perhaps it wasn't either side? Perhaps a third party?" Noel said, speaking her thoughts.

"That sounds like a terrible video game plot."

Tao did say anything to Steiner and just sat down, looking at the water.

Echo started tossing small rocks in the water.

Inside one of the pools an angler fish was living, being caught by the low tide. Frightened by Jessica it shot a stream of water that hit her in the face. The water, although harmless, tasted poor and if any got into her eyes it would stink quite a bit.

Rita would have been standing waiting for what seemed like... well lets say hours cuz minutes is too short, even though it was only about a minute. A loud owl hooted rather close to the ground.

"A third party? There are only two nations. Who would benefit from a war between the two? And how would they instigate a war?" Savranth asked.

OoC: @Dot: Well, here I was thinking of where to drop her off.
Also, Icarus is pretty much unbeatable one on one.
His magic has a few rules to it, though.
*He can control up to three people.
*He can also make them move as he wishes, meaning he can make them beat themselves if he so desire.
*He can not make them use magic, but can make them use weapons like guns.
As you may have realized he uses a Blood Line Magic and he is not alone. There are others in the world. Some are even stronger than him.

Hearing the hoot of the owl from the location Rita was standing, Loki paid it little mind. He kept looking around the dark spaces between the trees, looking for the green glow. He moved at a slow pace while twirling the scepter around between his fingers.

Noel shrugged. "You never know. Perhaps its an age old rivalry or bitter hatred that formed well in the past. People find the most ridiculous of reasons to fight. But that's besides the point."

Thinking for a second, Noel said. "Maybe... We should... see what the Legaian citizens think of a war between the nations. We had seen those that want to fight and those that don't."

Jessica shrieked as she was suddenly pelted in the face with water. She stumbled back a few steps, spitting in disgust and rubbing her eyes. Now I'm definitely getting some seafood. She thought to herself as she moaned over the stinging sensation in her eyes. She started meandering off in whatever direction she thought was South, not longer caring to spend any time around the tidal pools.

"Well, Blake wants to attack Pewtercove, right? This may be a bit difficult, but we could ask them afterwards... Probably a bad idea..." Savranth suggested aware that the idea was pretty stupid.
