Ness scratches the back of her neck. "Usually when she around me or some of my stronger subordinates, They/I can keep her in check... usually. Sometimes... she just goes off and it's more common for her to do something like that when she's on her own. I just hope she isn;t planning anything stupid where ever she is."
Suddenly, a portal opens up aside of Ness and a young man steps outside of it. He wears a black beanie, a short-sleeved hoodie and black jeans with various rips and tears in them. His right arm is completely covered in black bandages and he has two scars on his face, one coming across his left cheek and the other, a small one near his nose. He cracks his neck for a moment, bringing attention to the set of Studio style headphones around it.

Giving Clarense a slight smile, Loki left the DoF building and walked into the square in the middle of town. This has been most informative. Now then, let us see if I could not wring a little more information out of this place. Looking around, trying to think where to go next, Loki headed towards and entered the third large building in town, the only one he had yet to visit. The inn.

He chuckled a small bit. "Yeah. It does seem strange that we live in a cavern. Some of us have occupied the written worlds that we describe." He paused to take in another breath of misty night air. "There was a time during our exodus where there was a renaissance of sorts. Lots of thinkers, writers, and inventors. But I think we just became delusional... afraid even of what might lie above, and even paranoid about the inhabitants of worlds we visit in our books that we can travel to with ease. I only hope that we reach the surface sooner, if only to teach us not to be so reclusive."

Did you know there's a religion that claims that the Legaians were once like us, but when they created their technology, 'God' became displeased and removed their magic, and cursed their technology so that no mage could ever wield it?" He holsters the pistol.

Not so much. It's still in a prototype stage so..." "She has be run around different dimensions and stuff so she can attempt to get a lock on how to target one dimension specifically." "Being a guinea pig's kinda cool once you get used to the whole 'you can die at any time' thing."
Turning to Athena, Rex shrugs. "Uh... foxes, different dimensions and stuff." Noting her going on, Ness nods slightly. "To put it simply, she's volatile and has no qualms with disrupting the peace in places."
Ness pats Echo's head as she leans on her.
Turning to Jessica, Rex gives her a lazy salute. "Rex Crossholt. T18 Hacker/Striker. Nice to meet ya, catgirl."

What if the religion you just spoke of is true and that this civilization that made this alter eventually split up into different factions. Languages can change rapidly over the course of 20,000 years, so it's possible that it's nigh impossible to nail down an exact origin."

Finally, another man in miner's clothing left, yet he was a little diferent from the others, mainly due to the fact that his clothing was a lot less dusty then the rest. When this man turned towards the entrance of the mine, Yukino could hear the rattling of keys as he closed the entrance.
