Noel woke up and got herself up. We'll see how this all ends... Seeing Savranth and Dal'Sheed in the distance, she decided to walk in their directions.

"No problem No-touch, meow." Tao said as she hugged Charlotte back and grinned.

Dal'Sheed went up to the front desk.

Rex looks over at Adam's arm and leans back a bit, letting out a long whistle. "...You're one tough sumbitch, dude. Man... Rico'd love to fight someone like you. What's your name?"

Looking over at Athena, Rex lets out a long laugh. "Oh crap... you're probably right 'bout that. But like I said, don't wanna impose on you and your duties as it is. It's pretty much my fault for letting her sneak her way to the device, so it's my job to bring her back out. Thanks for the offer though."

Ness nods at Rowena. "I see. You at least have a way back to your dimension, correct? I made the mistake of not thinking of that when I sent Rex out the first time."

Ness smiles warmly as Echo continues to hug her. Fedora Girl continues to hug Echo back as Rex sighs and nods. "Still can't talk normally it seems... Still... good to see ya again." He gives a bit of a mocking smile toward Ness. "Even better to see you've got a bodyguard." Ness suddenly frowns and bops Rex on the head. "Woah... woah... relax.... [small] Owww.... [/small]"

"Good to see ya...Bodyguard?" Echo asked Rex.

Since her clothes would have dried by now, Rita retrieved and put them back on. Once that was all settled, she sat at a table in the bar of Everwood and began drawing something in her book

Although he looked as if paying close attention to the woman as she told how Everwood came to be, it did in fact bore Loki immensely. The only thing that he found interesting was the mention of "relative peace", as it indicated the relationship between Everwood and the treants was even more delicate then Clarence let on.

"I see. Interesting." Loki remarked when the woman finished her tale. "What can you tell me about this square in the middle of town? Is there some significance to it?" he asked, pointing to the square patch of grass outside.

OoC @Furioso: There was a batle in Pewtercove. Blake went ballistic and was placed under arrest. That's it.

"Yes. Unless Charlie breaks something important. Then, I guess I'll have to build my own machine." Rowena replied.

"I'm Adam."

As Dal'Sheen and Savranth walked up to the desk the clerk rather suddenly stopped, most likely due to Savranth's clothing. What was once a loud busy place suddenly grew silent as the entire room seemed to become aware of them both.
"C-Can I help you?"

"And it's my job to ensure that no one causes trouble or harms Xiphatian citizens. If she is in Xiphataia, she is my responsibility as well." Athena assured Rex.

Jessica reached into her pocket and pulled out her camera, then tossed it to Rex. "There should be a picture of a map on that. Knock yourself out." She said to Rex. Glancing over at Ness she said, "Yeah, someplace warm would certainly be nice." She sighed pleasantly and even began to purr very quietly as she suddenly felt warmer. She held out her hand and denied taking Kyouske's jacket. "No thanks, rain's pretty much died down, so there's really no point." She looked up at the sky before adding, "Though I'd really like to get inside before it starts raining again."
Rex bringing up Echo's inability to speak normally caused her to take on a look of contemplation.

"U-Ummm... is it possible that we could get rooms for the night? Small rooms, individual."

Margaret looked at the grass patch that Loki pointed to. "Oh that? That's just a gathering place for festivals, gatherings, and whatever else needs a large group of beastkins." She said politely.

The guy smiles a bit at Adam. "Nice to meet ya, dude. I'm Rex."

As Jessica hands him her camera, he hands it back to her. "Not to sound like a dick, but I need an actual copy to write stuff on. I'm a bit forgetful at times, and I like writing on maps when I go into new dimensions." He notes her staring at him for a moment and stares back with a blank face. After a few moments, he blushes and looks away "...A little early... to be checking some dude out, don't you think, Doc?" Ness calmly rises up to her feet, still holding Echo. "Then I believe we should try to find some odd job to do around the city, if anyone's still here. If we're still trying to go to the Wild Lands, we need to make sure we can travel around this nation and we'll need credits."

Rex just shrugs at Athena as he turns to her. "Alright then, miss, if you insist. Let's start this partnership off right then." He extends his bandaged right arm forward. "I'm Rex, a striker. Your name?"

Rex shrugs a bit as he points to Ness. "It was a joke, but I'm talking about Fedora here." Ness promptly bops him again. "Argh... Dammit, Ness. Stawp!"
"You should at least try to refer to be as Ness, rather than Fedora, you know. I'm still your boss even if we aren't in the lab right now."
"Whatever... it's easier to say."

Charlotte continued her hug with Tao for awhile then let go. "So now what?"

Noel entered the hotel as well looking around with her stoic face.

Kyosuke shrugged and put the jacket back on. He shrugged as well as a few more patches of dirty disappeared, keeping the warmth. Well this is fun, as it no longer hurts me but... "Well, I thought I saw my mom walk over to that hotel so... Should we check it out though?"

Lyra eventually piped up to the group. "Heya. Guys? Found a place we could use. Some hotel or something. Anybody have any gold, so that we could check it out?"

 

[Saltyk]

"Um... Yes, I think we can give you some rooms. H-How many do you... do you need?" The desk clerk asked.
Savranth was really sure what he should try to do right now. He was rather confident that trying anything would be taken badly.

Athena stared at Rex's hand, then back to him. "Athena, captain in the Xiphatia military."

"Fedora? Boss?" Echo asked for clarification as she stepped away from Ness again, starting to rock on her heels a bit.

"Hmm...Tao thinks we should find some food, meow!" Tao said enthusiastically.

 

[Slenn]

"Just one for me. I'll have to barter a bit with a gemstone of mine that I keep in my satchel. And one for him, I'm assuming." He gestured to Savranth. "We're travelers, and this is the only place we have to go for the night. But I understand, in the heat of the moment, that you don't want any business with anything."

 

[Chungus]

"I see. I had expected it to hold some significance. No matter." Loki replied as he gave the woman a slight smile. "Well I have no further questions to ask, and no money to pay for a room. So that I shall take my leave now. Good evening to you." Turning around, Loki headed for the exit, briedly glancing at his scepter as he went. Having no money to pay for anything. This was starting to become annoying. He contemplated using the scepter to force the woman into giving him a room, but decided against it. In a small comunity such as Everwood, the change in eye colour that would bring about wouldn't go unnoticed for very long.
Leaving the inn, Loki looked around for a moment, wondering where Roland had gone. Quickly putting the thought out of his mind, he returned to the bar.

"Your clothes have dried then?" he remarked as he walked over to Rita.
