"That's fair enough. I don't want to force any access to any files. All I need is information regarding the missing artifact at the museum, and that's what I'm interviewing for." He then heard the second bit of information and had a puzzled look on his face. "She works on artifacts. I thought she was an archaeologist judging from the fact that she took materials from a museum. How could that possibly mean a mortality rate?" He paused a beat. "Thank you very much."

OoC: Really late. I'm off.

 

[Chungus]

"At last..." Loki irritatedly remarked as he turned around again and walked off. "Good day."
Leaving the airdock, Loki moved through the crowds, not in a hurry to try his luck with a large company again, was now searching for a small business such as a store or hotel. That was a complete waste of time... At the very least, now I know what to say should I be asked questions such as those again.

"Oh this means war!" The shapeshifter said glaring at Tao

Cynane instinctively raised a hand to ward off the concussive wave of the blast when the bomb went off, though she was well out of range.

Jona threw up his free hand as the shrapnel burstoutwards. Several chunks that should have hit him came to a stop in front of his face and dropped to the ground. When the explosion settled he straightened up and lowered his arms, though he still held his sword and watched the Xenomorph, obviously recognising it as a highly dangerous predator.

OOC: 3:28pm... yeah, I'd better call it as well.

"Archaeologist? No, she's a scientist. She specializes in energy. Highly experimental energy." The person, on the screen says.

"Yes, there is a garage just down the street. Just past the... well just past a place a young girl like you shouldn't be going. Need anything else?" The person asks.

 

[Slenn]

OOC: @Saltyk. Archaeology IS a science, albiet sort of a soft science.

"High energy? You mean like particle physics? Where is she currently?"

OOC: And yes, the D'ni do know about that, or at least something along those lines. They have a device that sends out neutrino beams as map markers, as well as their fusion compactor machine to compact rock.

Tao walked away in a huff, not wanting to deal with the stranger.

"Nope, I... place I shouldn't be going? What are you talking about" asked Rita

 

[Saltyk]

"Something like that... Prime Minister Sebastion had her work on a more efficient energy source back when he was Minister of Technology." The person replied.
"Anyway, Lucia's lab is outside of here. You'll find it at the South-West corner of the building. If you go out the door here and turn left, you should come right up to it."

[hr]

"It's... It's a brothel... So, like I said, you probably shouldn't be going in there." The civilian replied.

[hr]

Loki would find that he had his pick of such places.

Marcus, the man in the hoodie, staggers at the explosion, but continues walking to stand next to Xyleena, patting her on the back. "See? You can do it, just fine. Keep that up, luv, and we'll be home free." he looks over the others who had observed his arrival balefully. "Well. Anybody ready to actually leave before the cops get here, or are you going to stand around like stupid twats?"


The drop pod had been ripped apart, with barely its base remaining, although the remains of a metal exoskeleton could be seen in the ruins.

"Thank you very much." He said, and bowed out of politeness. He walked down the hallways for a few minutes until he came across Lucia's lab. He knocked on the door.

 

[Chungus]

Finding his way to several small stores, Loki stopped to inspect one that would be suitable. Seeing a cafe that was relatively quiet in the late hours, Loki entered and walked up to the counter.

"Good evening." he began, then looked around, seeing how many of the patrons were looking his way.

 

[Saltyk]

"I was wondering when you would finally do that." Savranth said to Marcus. "Shall we move along then?" He said leaving the scene of the crash.

A woman answered the door. "Hello? May I help you?" She asked Dal'Sheen.

 

[Furioso]

Rita had a disgusted look on her face "Ugh!" she said as she headed towards the garage, trying to stay away from the brothel

 

[Slenn]

"Hello yes, this is Dal'Sheed. I'm a scientist and I was interested in the artifacts that were at the museum and I noticed one was missing. They redirected me to you. Although I'm not here to force you to hand back the artifact to the museum.

Ness follows Savranth, yawning a little bit.

Marcus follows Savranth, Xyleena moving between Marcus and Ness, looking her over with unseen eyes.

 

[Saltyk]

Savranth stops a bit away from the crash landing, behind the bar, on the beach. "Well that was one way to make an entrance..." He said, looking back to the others. "Just who are you?"

The local authorities arrive and begin cleaning up and investigating the mess.

"I tried to warn you!" The citizen called to Rita as she walked off.

Rita would eventually come to a small garage just a few blocks from the brothel (which is the ? on the map by the way).

"Oh, you must be here to see Lucia. One minute." The woman led Dal'Sheen inside, and went to call for Lucia. First stopping to check that Dal'Sheen had the proper security clearance on a computer before she did.

A few minutes later a blonde haired, blue eyed woman arrived. She was about 5'7" or 1.7 Meters tall.
"May I help you?" She asked.

"Hello, sir. How are you?" The girl behind the counter asked in a rather upbeat tone. "What can I get for you today?"

 

[Slenn]

I've never seen such a bright face. He took off his glove and smiled.
"Yes, I'm Dal'Sheed. I'm a scientist and I came to the museum today to check out some artifacts that were dated to be around the same date as the altar in the center of the continent. The museum directed me to you to talk about he missing artifact that you're studying it. I just wanted to interview you to hear what you've found out." He extended out his hand to shake.
