"Hmm. Can I order a meal that I can take with me, or do you only serves meals meant to be eaten here?" Loki asked with a small smile. As he did, he createda projection of himself exactly where he stood, whilst at the same time concealing the pressence, just as he had done in Tiberius' base before. The projection made, the real Loki began making his way around the counter towards the girl.

Within the garage could be seen several vehicles and mechanics working on them. When Rita entered, one, who seemed to be in charge walked up to her wiping his hands, though he had bits of grease on his face and arms.
"What's up? What can I do for ya?"

"You're referring to the artifact? And this isn't just the museum trying to get back their precious little device so that they can put it on display rather than study it?" Lucia says as she sits down in front of Dal'Sheen.

"Why we have lots of things sir? What would you like? A drink? Coffee? Soup? A plate to sit down and eat?" The upbeat girl said to Loki.
"What's up? What can I do for ya?"

"You're referring to the artifact? And this isn't just the museum trying to get back their precious little device so that they can put it on display rather than study it?" Lucia says as she sits down in front of Dal'Sheen.

"Why we have lots of things sir? What would you like? A drink? Coffee? Soup? A plate to sit down and eat?" The upbeat girl said to Loki.
"No it's not. Although, I'm not going to lie, they did ask me to retrieve it for you." He shook his head. "I can't let a museum get in the way of a scientist's studies." A beat. "But besides that. What have you been able to find out about the artifact?"
Marcus sat, breathing heavy. "Names Marcus. Clansmen of the wolves. Xeno over there is Xyleena. Also of the clan wolves. Lyra called us in, your atmos frakked up our equipment in the drop pod, we landed in style. Sorry about that. Anybody have some wires or something? Need to patch up Xy's voice speaker." Cyleena shook her head in an oddly human reflection of a nod.
"One of the vehicles? What are you studying to be a mechanic or something?" He asked.

Lucia pulled out a small device and made a few adjustments before placing it down. The miniature computer displayed a 3 dimensional model of the artifact. It was shaped like an oval with two slightly larger protrusions on the ends.
"This 'device' is nearly indestructible. It can't be x-rayed, or scanned, and gives off constant energy. It can even increase it at times. I've had this device overload previous experiments with explosive results and have had to take that into account."

"Well then, I would like..." Loki said through his projection as the real Loki now stood next to the girl. "There... appears to be a spider on the counter." the projection said, pointing at the counter. At the same time, the real Loki poked the girl with the scepter turned cane on the chest. As had happened in previous cases, the girl's eyes momentarily turned black before becoming blue. If she had blue eyes already, the change would be unnoticeable.
OoC: I made a mistake in saying the mind control turned people's eyes into a lighter colour. It turns their eyes blue.

"Savranth. Are you the one Lyra contacted? I told her to warn you about entering the atmosphere." Savranth replies to Mracus.

"All right, kid. Follow me." The mechanic led Rita to one of the vehicles. "Yo, Joe, keep the hood open."
Leading Rita to the vehicle, he showed her the engine.
"Well, as you know, our vehicles have roughly 45% energy efficiency, though I hear some people in the military have developed even more efficient generators. Anyway, these engines are able to produce the energy by utilizing a special type of quartz mined from Granite Pass. Some say that stuff maybe related to Mythril, but I think they're blowing smoke."

"No, this produces no light. It's simply pure energy. I'm not sure of all the details myself, but it has been a great asset in my own research. This device is almost like a fission reactor, but gives off no radiation." Lucia replied.

"Self contained energy. Almost like a star, but in reverse. Instead of fusing atoms, it splits them. Have there been no other artifacts like this that have been sent to you? According to text books, the altar's existence coincides with that of the date of the artifact."
The mechanic looks at Rita a little confused. "It doesn't. It generates the energy nearly indefinitely. You will probably die before it stops generating power."

"No, this is the only one I have seen. There maybe others out there, but this is the only one we possess like this. This was found about 20 years ago. There maybe other artifacts like it in Rockbyrd or the mountains, though." Lucia replied.
She seemed to think for a minute. "I think there were some recent cases of radiation poisoning in Granite Pass, though. The Ministry of Public keeps asking me to look into that, and the Ministry of the Military wants me to look into other things for them, something about a tank. It really gets in the way of my research..."

"It seemed to have scurried off." Loki's projection remarked, picking up after his spider comment, wich he made thinking the girl would've screamed upon being touched, and was meant to cover his tracks. The girl now under his control, Loki teleported back to where he was standing and dispelled the invisibility and projection at the same time. "Now, back to my order. I would like..." Loki trailed off as he looked at the sign behind the girl, wich listed all the meals, drinks and snacks for sale. "Just a sandwich, please." He stated, then looked at the the few other patrons present, noting they all weren't paying attention, as they conversed amongst themselves. "Oh, and as a side note. Would you happen to be the person who owns this place?"
He started to sketch the shape of the artifact in his journal.
"I ask this because there are several indentations on the altar. And I can't recall the particular shapes that were on there. Although I'm taking a drawing now so I can compare it. It may be one out of several objects that fit on the altar. I won't take the artifact, but I will certainly contact you if the shapes do match. It could lead to a reaction if it was placed there."
