"You could try asking those have studied there. People of all ages go to study there. You could try asking around. I can't say I know what it is myself." Tiberius replied to Rita.

"Well, sir, this is all handled with the beastkin communities. And we don't tend to inform the governments of these transfers. They have been less than understanding in the past. I hear a man by the name of Soto took a child from such a couple just as it was delivered and experimented on it. Only in Legaia could such a thing be allowed." She answered Loki and politely smiled as Sable spoke. "I don't know, sir..." She said thinking he was asking her a question about universes shifting or something.

"I just took your picture." Jessica explained to Steiner. She fiddled with some controls on the back of the rectangle, all with her left hand as her right arm stayed almost firmly at her side. When she was done, she held the back of the camera up to Steiner, so he could see the picture she just took of him. I swear to God, if he thinks I stole his soul, I will just absolutely lose it.
Looking back over at Ness, she replied, "Don't mention it." Glancing back over at Echo, she asked, "So, apparently you know 'quite a bit' about that girl then. Just how much is quite a bit?" After a moment, she absentmindedly added, "And when should we think about finding a better place to talk? It's getting rather awkward just standing around out here." She looked up at the night sky for a moment and curiously cocked her head, "And the sky seems to be doing odd things."
"Thank you for the advice." Jessica replied to Tiberius. She quickly pocketed her camera, deciding that was for the best. She then idly scratched at her right arm.
Looking back over at Ness, she replied, "Don't mention it." Glancing back over at Echo, she asked, "So, apparently you know 'quite a bit' about that girl then. Just how much is quite a bit?" After a moment, she absentmindedly added, "And when should we think about finding a better place to talk? It's getting rather awkward just standing around out here." Sasha stood up from the table and gave Savranth a slight bow. "Thank you very much for your time Savranth. I know I will manage." She said as she took her leave. She would have passed by Kyra and Tao briefly as she headed to the Barracks. [sub]"Good night."[/sub] She said with a small wave, and as she got a sizable distance away Kyra and Tao would have smelled the slight aroma of chocolate.
Ness slowly rises up and shakes her head at Steiner. "This device doesn't hold little people inside it. It merely records and plays back a copy of what they said at one point in time. These people didn't lose their voice whenI recorded them."
She gives a curt nod to Tiberius. "How would we be able to get to Winterhorn? Learning magic in a new world sounds... intriguing."
Turning back to Jessica, she puts her hand to her chin. "The only places I could think of would be the lobby or the barracks. We'd end up having some sort of slumber party... As for Echo, I honestly don't know that much aside from the curse and her name. I thought saying 'quite a bit' would be the polite thing to say." She looks up at the sky as well. "Odd?"

Hearing The knight anounce he could sense the projection standing infront of the counter was indeed a fake, Loki silently grunted. No point trying to hide it furhter. "Not I, no. Yet this is a world filled with strife. And I rather not take chances. It is but a precaution." he answered, still concealing his true self. The projection looking over his shoulder, then back to the secretary.
"I see. See the beastkin rather live in the shadows. How terrible. The story of one experimenting on a child even more so. Know you if there any other cases of such mistreatment?" he asked, his tone sympathettic.

"I see, a defensive deception to disguise yourself from danger. That does make a certain deal of sense when in a strange land, however, other practitioners of magic may also be able to detect it, and they may be hostile rather than inquisitive. So sir, may I ask your name?"
I really don't want to have to explain what a digital camera is, so... "Let's just say it's magic." Jessica replied to Steiner. "I could give you a copy later if you want one." She offered. She shrugged at Steiner as he walked off.
"Eh, I don't mind the Barracks. I think I remember the General saying most of their guys were out, so we can probably find some space where we aren't likely to get overly noticed." Jessica initially replied to Ness. She glanced back up at the sky and said, "Yeah, odd. It's all dark....Wait, is this night?" She asked, completely straight faced.

You may wish to stop there for supplies and rest, though, I fear you all lack any gold to purchase any goods."
