Ness tilts her head a bit at Kyosuke's explanation. "That's interesting... How'd he come to have that sort of power?"
Turning to Blair, she nods slightly before scratching under the kitty's chin again. "No problem. Just be a little careful, alright?"

Rex looks for at Felina with a slight smile. "Thanks, miss. I'll just have a large root beer if you carry it."

He nods slightly as Jessica turns the visor on. "No problem, Doc. Now to start off... When I went through that portal, I was dropped into a desert with ranging sandstorms and the like. For some reason, there was a tree that was completely unaffected by the storms... and actually had a clear area around like, kind of like the eye of a hurricane. When I went over there to take shelter, other people started showing up. Demons, a pirate, some emo blue-haired dude, peg-legged penguin things.. I think they called 'em Prinnies or something. Anyway, none of us were familiar with what was goingon at the time..."

Noel's demeanor instantly became quiet and afraid than her usual stoic or happy-estic normal.

"Can... Can you keep a secret and whatever you do, DON'T research it?"

Cynane reached down and pulled the Rookie to his feet with both hands. She considered going for a potion bottle again, then glanced back up at the road.
"You're right. The kid is still up there, we have to help him!" She said urgently before rushing to a tree beside the bank and climbing, knowing the muddy slope would slow them down too much.

Jona squirmed as the Zealot dragged him down. When he saw what it meant to do he reached out again. All of the Zealot's remaining grenades suddenly primed themselves while still attached to him.

"Well I was originally just intending to find a place to sit, but now that we're here, I suppose it would be rude to not order anything." Plus I actually am rather hungry. Jessica replied to Felina. She pointed out the meal she had decided upon having, a chicken based dish of a sort she was unfamiliar with, but sounded appetizing, to Felina. As Rex went on, she listened intently, nodding all the while as her visor picked up and recorded Rex's words as well. "Sounds fairly standard so far. Go on." Except as far as I can tell, no place like that exists on Earth.

@Slenn: Most characters are chatting with each other in Holadino, while Rookie, Cynane and Jona are fighting the Covenant on the road somewhere.

Dal'Sheed got up from studying a few texts and writing a report. He looked around the rural town to look for a place to walk to.

Blair just makes a "my mouth is zipped" jester. "My lips are sealed" Blair said to Noel with a wink. She started to Purr again. "Okay, I'm sorry Miss Ness!" She said to Ness, enjoying the scratching.

 

[Kirke]

The Zealot snarled, and grabbed Jonas arm as he reached down. He then threw him back down, not letting go of the arm, and raised a foot to stomp down on him.

The Rookie holstered his pistol then shook his head before reaching out with his good arm, wishing to be pulled up.

Ness raises an eyebrow toward Noel, a bit stunned by her sudden change in demeanor. "...Yes, I'll keep my mouth shut about this." She winks at Blair. "Like I said, no worries."

"So, the group came up to this girl who happened to be there, her name was Eve. She spoke in numbers and weird things like that. Then, we got attacked by a group of spider-mechs and got a new member, Black Rock Shooter. After all of that, we ended up getting chased halfway across the desert by giant fucking sandworms. Some dude brought in an airship to kill one, a demon warrior and a knight... named Sable.. I think... killed another. I actually killed one myself by blasting it to bits. After getting chased, we happened to find ourselves in a town. Eve told us about someone who could help the group get the hell home, but he was captured by this group of people called the Overseers. And boom, there was the goal. Find this dude, get him out of jail or whatever, then get home. Sounded like a standard plan in hindsight. "

"And risk being poisoned also? That is hardly wise." Loki remarked, making no attempt to follow after Rita.

"Alright then." The orders recieved, Felina turned around, opened the refridgerator and after some seconds of searching, pulled out a bottle of rootbeer. Pourings its contents into a pitcher glass, Felina walked over to the table Jessica and Rex were sitting at and put down the glass infront of Rex on a coaster on which the logo of the diner was printed. "I'll be serving your food shortly." she said, turning to Jessica, then walking back behind the counter and started preparing Jessica's order.

"If you have a plan I'd like to hear it, if not, my blastia can detect any dangerous changes in the air." she said, motioning to the jewel in her necklace

 

[Slenn]

Dal'Sheed came across Noel and the others.

"Hello all." He waved.

Blair just continued to Purr against Ness, she smiled at her as well. "Meow!" She called out as Dal approached, not sure if he was part of this group or not.

Dal, who had never seen a cat before but had seen a cat person, tried to extrapolate the data on cat people to cats.

"Hello. Umm... is this a cat?"

Ness waves at Dal, then looks over at Blair, giggling a bit as the cat rubs up against her. "In a sense... yes, she's a cat. Her name is Blair."

Noel gave a small wave to Dal'Sheed before she sighed.

"We Wardens... Kyosuke and myself. Even Vanguards, or counterparts like Charlotte there... We were exposed to residue dust particles of Koltanium, a metal that was discovered in the early 23rd Century in the Asteroid Belt. When placed under an electric current, it can manipulate Newton's Gravitational Constant, so we can pull, push or crush things at a distance. However, under extreme currents and voltages, it can cut straight through this material plane and into another dimension. This dimension was later called 'The Void'." Noel gulped down slightly.

"In a sense? Does this cat have any relation to Tao or any other cat-lady here?"

 

[Drakmorg]

"Thank you." Jessica called to Felina after she took her order and went to prepare it. She turned her attention back to Rex and continued listening. So Sir Sable was involved in that event as well. And the patterns do seem to be matching up. "You say it sounded like a standard plan? Could you elaborate on that?"

 

[Chungus]

"Why not ask if some of these machines used in the mining to enter the shaft in our stead. Let them be our eyes and thread where we should not." Loki suggested.

After preparing the meal, Felina presented Jessica with a plate of grilled chicken with rice and sugar beans, with a tomato sauce. "Here you are. Enjoy." she said, laying the utensils next to the plate, wrapped in a paper napkin, then walked back to the counter.
