Jessica watching the other students would notice that although the magic they were using was different from person to person, but they always seemed to be much like a language, people might speak it slightly different but it all looked relatively the same when you got right down to it. Using water, snow, and other precipitation for water magic, the air for wind, large rocks and such for earth, producing flames with fire, and sparks with lightning.
Sasha stopped and sighed, Jessica could tell Sasha was nervous. 'You can do this!' She thought, as she brought her hands forward. As she focused, a brown mist settled over her hands which slowly condensed into beads of a brown liquid and rose slightly as it pooled into a small amorphous orb sitting slightly about the center of her hands. When the orb got to about the size of a cantaloupe the mist around her hands faded and the orb remained.
Sophia stood there for a few moments, as some floating branches with a single apple appeared in the air. Sophia then brought the liquid through the air, whipping and cutting the apples off of the tree branches, in an almost dance like fashion.
