"We found some structure outside the city that belonged to you, looked like something heavy had smashed into it... hey, that sphere..." said Rita looking at the screen

The spider scurried off of Rita's foot and skittered across the floor towards some shadows

"Interesting..." Jessica muttered to herself as she continued to follow Sasha. "Sounds an awful lot like the practice ranges for Psychokineticists they had back at my school. Except instead of something that just cancelled energy, they just reinforced all the rooms to the point where the only way to break through them would be actively try to do so. And even then, it would still take a while."

Once the patient does what was asked of him, Ness gets the rest of what she needs. The water would help to stop the swelling on his hand. Once she checks this and allows the hand to dry up a bit, Ness would wrap the bandages around the man's hand. Afterward, she'd hand him a pain reliever with a smile. "Alright. Just leave that bandage on for a few days and your hand should be back to normal."

Rex sighs a bit, realizing that Tao had expected just the opposite of what he said. "I'll let it slide this time, kitty. But don't expect me to let you mooch off of me again/"

 

[Chungus]

"Hmm? Oh, that?" Lucia said, turning towards the screen, her voice perking up, if only a little. "Yes. This object was delivered to me this morning. It's interesting for two reasons. One - It's highly radioactive, emitting large quantities of neutrino particles. And two - It's a perfect sphere. I've run checks on the sphere's dimension several, and there wasn't a single irregularity. This is a interesting little thing because a perfect sphere can only be made in space. Yet, space travel is impossible. So, how did it get here, I wonder?" Lucia explained, then curled up the corners of her mouth into a small smile. "This object might be the key to uncovering my big question..."

"Okay... Thanks, miss." the patient smiled and leaves the clinic.

"Psychokin... That's the one where you throw stuff right? The closest this school has to something like that is earth magic. I still can't do anything with that one yet." She scratched her head.

"Aww...Tao thought you were a good guy, meow..." Tao said to Rex as her ears drooped and her made a sad frown.

Echo got restless and went into the town to look around.

Radiation huh...
"Big question? And what would that be?" asked Rita, who came from a world without space flight, so Lucia's comment on that didn't seem odd to her.

The spider made it into some shadows, where it watched

"We call that Telekinesis where I come from." Jessica began to explain. "Psychokinesis has more to do with the manipulation of energy in its various forms. I can't perform any of that though." She glanced at the hallway around her as she walked alongside Sasha, idly taking in the decor. "So how much longer until we reach this training room? I'm eager to see what it is you can do."

 

[Chungus]

"What would that be?" Lucia almost chuckled before recomposing herself, afterwhich she turned back to Rita. "What would happen if one was gather all the energy in the universe. Imagine, a power equal, or perhaps even surpassing that of the Big Bang..." she answered, a twinkle in her eyes as she did. "But I'm sure you didn't come here to discuss that hypothesis. So, what did you come here for?"

Rex sighs at Tao's frown as he slowly gets up. [small] "God... I'm such a wuss..." [/small] He walks toward the diner signaling to the Kaka. "C'mon... Food's on me again."

Ness smiles as the patient leaves. Afterward, Ness leaves as well, putting the supplies back where they were. She starts walking around town afterward in a pretty good mood for once.

Noel and Kyosuke exit the hotel again, their body expression tired. After that moment of relapse, they quickly assume their usual stoic appearances as they decide to walk around the town for a bit.

Savranth was walking around the town. A peaceful enough town... I wonder...

Power of the big bang? It could be similar to what I was working on.... hmmm

"Right, first things first, we found a structure of yours outside the city limits, it looked like something large had smashed into it."

"It's here actually." Sasha smiled, stopping at a large double doors. She slowly opened the door, checked and them walked in as she held the door open for Jessica. The runes on the floor and walls began to glow softly. "Let's go over there, that way we won't be in the way of anyone else." She said.

There were several other students practicing various forms of Xiphatian magic, some even with instructors.

"Yay! I knew you were a good guy, meow!" Tao cheered as she pranced around Rex while heading to the dinner.

Echo found Ness and started walking beside her.

 

[Chungus]

"Oh, yes. That. I knew about that three days ago. That's the fith energy reader that was damaged this month. It is... inconvinient." Lucia answered, her voice once again carrying a uninterested tone.

Dal'Sheed wandered around Holadino, looking for people to chat to while eating some fruit from his satchel.

Rex scratches the back of his head again as he opens the door to the diner and finds an open table. "Don't call me a good guy..."

Ness looks over at Echo and smiles a bit. "Hey Echo." She noticed a majority of the other walking around town and scratches the back of her neck a bit. "It seems none of us feel like doing anything right now..." She looks down at Echo for a moment. "...Now that I think about it, I've never been to a farm before. Do you wanna come with me to this town's farm, Echo?"

Noel and Kyosuke eventually alittle bit passed Dal'Sheed before turning around and saying. "Oh hello there."

Jessica nodded appreciatively at Sasha holding the door open for her once again. She followed in after her, humming in interest as she noticed the lit up runes along the rooms surfaces. She nodded to Sasha once again and followed her to whichever part of the room she had indicated they were to go to, watching the other students curiously as she did.
