Important Information!

Standard Xiphataian soldiers are adept in one form of magic (Fire, Strength Enhancement, Shield)

Standard Legaian soldiers have fully automatic rifles with armor piercing rounds, minor armor that enhances their physical attributes by a small percentage (about 20%) and frag grenades.​

The Legaian soldiers began to spread out in units of 20 men, even while the Xiphataian soldier attempted to contain them in groups of about 14 each.

One of the mechs began firing upon a unit.
The other four began firing on the two remaining Golems.

A Xiphatian unit attempted to attack a Legaian unit head on as it made for the Main Building.

Two Legaian units began firing up a Xiphatian unit while another Xiphatian unit attempted to come to that one's aide.

Battle reports are important. Take into account what is happening and try to turn the tide of battle!​

Adam looked over at the destroyed section of wall, then behind him to the barracks.
"Fuck it, I don't need clothes to kill people."
He sprinted directly at a Legaian soldier, intending to tackle him and take his rifle.

Spoiler: Noel's BGM (BackGround Music) for attacking

Upon seeing the battle starting to take place, Noel took the first stride towards one of the heavy mechs, spotting out its weapons. Taking the cylinder "Odin" from her back, she holstered one of her pistols to her hip, taking the other one and slapping it onto the cylinder as it reconfigured into something that resembled a rocket launcher. She fired one round at the mech's legs and fires another round at a group of Legaian soldiers, slightly away from them to startle them or knock them off their feet

>> Important notice!: Noel, mostly likely throughout this RP, will NEVER fire to kill. Break bones, lose limps or knock unconscious soldiers are completely acceptable.... She will only kill if she needs to. (Even with heavy weapons, it's aimed to debuff)

Charlotte, seeing the battle underway, started to close in on of the Legaian groups, firing her pistol as she closed in, readying her sword as well.

Walking towards the site of the conflict with a steady pace, Loki neared the sight, stopping and observing what was afoot when he did. Seeing the Legaian soldiers spread out, Loki observed where each of them went, seeking an easy target, Spotting one such target, Loki grinned and began moving to the detachment of Legaian soldier near the golem housing, teleporting towards it to avoid making noise and being found out. With each teleportation, a range of about five steps was covered. Reaching the flank of the detachment and still invisible, Loki gently pressed the blade of the scepter against the Legaian's chest, the gem glowing blue as he did.

However, since there was advanced armour between the scepter and the soldier's heart, whatever Loki hoped would happen would not.

OoC: ...I have no freaking idea which side is which, so forgive me if I'm shooting up the wrong guys.

Stepping into the commotion outside, Laguna saw a mecha fighting what appeared to be a golem. He prayed the golem was freindly, drew the bazooka, and fired a homing rocket at the mech.

Magic has three levels of Mastery. Novice. Adept. Master.
I'll use fire magic as an example.
Novice: Create and throw fireball.
Adept: Effectively a human flame thrower.
Master: Rain down fire from the sky itself.

As you can see, each level is combat effective, with each level being much stronger than the one before.

Adam struggled with the Legaian and managed to get the rifle away from him, but as he did, the soldier dropped a grenade at his feet and bolted.

Laguna's rocket hit the mech's pilot compartment, killing the man instantly.

Noel's shot into another mech crippling it's legs, but it was still operational. Still, this managed to spare the soldiers it was firing on. The mech instead turned on her and began firing.
Her other rocket distracted another unit allowing the Xiphataians to overtake and decimate the unit. They waved their thanks, though they seemed a little apprehensive at what she used to help.

The other three mechs destroyed the Golems and began moving towards the Main Building.

Charlotte drew the attention of one of the Legaian groups. This reduced the fire on one of the Xiphataian units and helped to minimize casualties.

The soldier that Loki touched yelped when this happened. When the others looked he pointed in front of him. Instinctively, the men fire upon the empty space.

The Legaian soldier regrouped and charged the Main Building.

The Xiphataian forces, still in disarray, tried to contain them, but were largely unsuccessful.

Tao chased after the intruders. "Hey you guys! You stop attacking the people who gave Tao food, meow!" she shouted as she slashed at a few enemy soldiers with her razor sharp claws.

Echo remained in the mess hall, cowering.

 

[Slenn]

Dal'Sheen got out his rifle and fired 1 round at the soldier that was charging at the building.

He then noticed the clustered mechs breaking their way through the golems.
"Damn. With the giant humainoid rocks out of the way, the walking machines will surely siege the castle!"

"Fire in the hole! Look out!"
He pulled out his fire marble launcher and fired one marble at the mechs, exploding and sending out the equivalent of napalm. He hid behind the main door afterwards.

OOC: For reference, I'm giving him a stock of 4 fire marbles. He's used one so far.
Also I'm going to take a shower.

 

[Random berk]

Cynane saw the Legaian infantry advancing on the defending Xiphatian forces at the main building.
"I must be fucking crazy to do this!" She muttered to herself, moving up on their rear. As the Legaian soldiers began to break formation and seek cover to avoid making a large target for the Xiphatians, Stripe blundered into their ranks, panicked and honking. Men were trampled beneath his huge bulk and his heavy spiked tail flailed about at head height.

Using the confusion, Cynane charged a man who had already found a firing position. As he looked around to face her he lashed out with her spear, the sweeping motion of the circular bladed head splitting the man's cheek open. It left behind traces of the extremely powerful narcotic secreted in a plesioth's fins in the open wound, and the soldier would feel the numbness spread through his head, neck and upper arms even before he felt the pain of the cut. At the same time his mind would become cloudy and fogged by drug-induced sleepiness.

Tao's efforts would draw the attention of a few soldiers as she attacked their flank. "A beastkin!? Take this!" One the of the soldiers threw a grenade at her.

Dal'Sheen killed one soldier with his shot and the fire marble, would engulf the three charging mechs, destroying one that it hit directly, but the other two, while heavily damaged would continue their advancement, one firing machine gun fire at his position as they did.

Stripe's efforts would drive the Legaians to scatter while they attempted to fire on it to draw it away from their comrades and into a position to deal with the beast.

Cynane's attack would leave the soldier unconscious. Others noticing her and aimed to fire upon her.

All the while, Xiphatian and Legaian soldiers continued to struggle. Due to the confusion caused by the group, however, the Xiphatain forces began to gain the upper hand, especially as Volarian joined them to take command of the fray, and use his own skills to assist in the battle.

Savranth exited the Main Building and seeing the incoming soldiers, ran to the side, cutting a line in the sand of sorts using a arcing bolt of lightning as he ran to slow their approach. As he did, he came into the group of approaching mechs.

Damn... two of them. There's no way... At this moment, he realized that he still held the laser pistol from the other day. "Well, if I'm going to die, I'll take you lot with me!" He said drawing the weapon and quickly aiming it and pulling the trigger causing...

...a small laser blast to fire and hit the mech, leaving a small, but noticeable mark. Eyes wides, all Savranth could do was stare, amazed to still be alive.

He quickly kicked the explosive at a group of soldiers, then checked the rifle's magazine.

OOC: I realise now that I should have given Cynane a slightly more badas pet than an Aptonoth . Something like a Tigrex or a Rathalos. I never knew we were going to be in full-scale battles. Oh and Saltyk, the narcotic venom on the spear would knock the soldier completely out cold, not just leave him woozy.

Ignoring the wave of thanks by the Xiphantaian soldiers, Noel's thoughts echoed back to her training with the Gun Katas.

Dodging to the right and up three steps, in one fluid motion, Noel had slapped her second pistol onto the pseudo-rocket launcher as it changed again into a strange cannon of kinds. As the mech's bullets hissed and made Noel stumble back alittle, the cannon's open opened up and fired 1.5 foot diameter particle beam at the mech's joints. She positioned the beam to end up hitting the ground just alittle behind the mech to minimize any friendly fire.

As Charlotte charged in at the Leagaian group of 10, 6 of them would see that she was cut down by their shots while the other 4 saw that she calculated and dodged where they were aiming. Charlotte then horizontally slashed at one soldier, then vertically slashed at another.

What most of the Xiphantaian soldiers around would see that Charlotte dodged, while members of the group saw that she was cut down by enemy fire.

OoC: Oh, a fight. I'm staying out of it for now. But since I read back...

Spoiler: Last night...

As Jessica hands her the disk, Ness simply nods and scans it, creating a backup copy of it on her PDA. As she turns to head to bed, she lazily rubs her eyes. "I'm glad you feel you can trust me... however, whatever you've given me must be valuable, so I'l only use the digital copy, I'll be able to remotely destroy it if it happens to fall into the wrong hands. Keep the original to yourself." She passes the original disk back and quickly nods off in the Barracks.

Ness lays up in her bed, spinning around the disk replica that Jessica had given her last night on her finger. Seemingly unfazed by the sounds of battle outside, she decided to keep out of the fighting for the meantime, unless of course, they managed to run through the barracks.

Satisfied at the destruction of the mecha, Laguna turned his attention to the other mechs. He truned and saw the two damagaed mechas. He drew a six-pack missile launcher, and pressed the firing sutd. Six homing missiles corkscrewed out, then spilt into two packs of three, each pack going after a different machine.

As the soldier yelped rather then seize fire and wait for Loki to tell tell give him orders, Loki was struck with confusion as to why touching the soldier with the scepter didn't have the desired effect. This confusion made it so that he couldn't imediately get out of harm's way when the soldiers opened fire on him. Although the majority of the shots missed due to the Legaian soldiers not knowing where exactly Loki stood, four of them hit. Three shots struk him in the chest while another in the right shoulder. While the armour-piercing rounds pierced through Loki's armour, they left only small puncture wounds in his flesh.

Knocked out of his confusion, Loki kicked the soldier he previously touched with the scepter in the chest, sending him flying to the other soldiers. As thin as Loki looked, the kick carried an immense amount of strength. Before the soldiers even hit the others, Loki leapt towards the roof of the golem housing, firing an energy shot from the scepter as he did. Whereever the blast would hit, it would create a small explosion.

The grenade exploded killing a few nearby soldiers, who quickly regrouped, and began firing on him.
Adam would find that the rifle's magazine was still full, with 50 rounds.

Noel's shot would finally cripple the mech. With little choice, the soldier, ejected the cockpit and took out his pistol. His combat suit wasn't designed to enhance his abilities though, as a mech pilot. He took a few shots at Noel as he ran back for the opening. The gun fired normal rounds, rather than laser of armor piercing however.

Charlotte cut down two soldiers. The soldiers that saw her dodge, tried to maintain fire on her and keep the pressure on.

Lagunna's rockets destroyed both mechs, saving Savranth from their wrath, the boy still a little too shocked by the fact that he was even alive to be able to set up a defense.

Loki's effort's and blast killed several soldiers.

The Xiphatian soldiers under Volarian's command began to push the Legaian forces back, killing a few as they did.

Tiberius had exited the building having been alerted to the assault, and seeing his son with the pistol, frowned.

Despite trying to run, Dal'Sheen's weight from the suit did not enable him to move quickly to avoid some of the machine gun shots. A few of them hit him on the left shoulder pad, and some others hit him in the helmet did not penetrate the suit. He did make a "Gahhhhh!" exclamation out of reflex as the bullet hit the back part of his stone helmet.

Coming out of cover from recuperating, he did two rounds of ducking, firing and reloading from his rifle at two soldiers.

@Saltyk. I'm assuming these aren't armor penetrating. I'll change it if they are.
