"That...seems a little drastic to start off with. [small]Especially since if we're wrong about this we'd just be torturing someone over what might be a coincidence.[/small] How about I do the talking to start off with?" Jessica suggested to Felina as she opened the door.
"Worry not." Loki said to the receptionist as he pressed the blade of the scepter against her chest, the blue energy streaming from the gem, into her. As was the case with those that came before, the receptionist's eyes turned pure black for a second before turning the irises blue. If she had blue eyes already, there was no noticeable change. Once done, Loki lower the scepter. While the receptionist wouldn't see the Tesseract, she would most certainly feel its influence. "So, do you not feel the Tessaract's pressence, as if it were calling out to you?" he asked.
Rex looks back toward the door opening with little interest. As if just being here wasn't enough of a pain.. now someone's coming in?

Once he reached the coast, Envy deposited his hoard onto the ground. "I must say, for only being here for a short time I'm doing well here!" He had a variety of weaponry and ammo, in addition to the hand and gun of one of the murdered soldiers. The first thing he picked up was the sword, which he inspected.

"Seems like a decent idea." Savranth said as he stopped to allow Vanessa to rest.

I guess that's a no to my suggestion of trying to be subtle about it. Jessica thought with a sigh. She shrugged to herself and said to Marco, "Uh, my friend here's daughter went missing recently, so we're asking around if anyone's seen her. Her name's Ashley, she..." Jessica then proceeded to give Marco a description of what Ashley looked like. And now to gauge his reaction...
"I only did what I said I would do, proof the Tessaract does yet exsist. Aside from that, I did not do a thing." Loki responded. "But judging by your demeanor, I assume that you are still unconvinced, even if my claim is backed up by a independant source. If you desire more sources confirm my claim, I could just as well make other people aware of the Tessaract's exsistance by doing what I did just now. Or, we can cut to the chase, as they saying goes, and I can make you feel its pressance personally."

Envy find the sword was light and extremely well balanced. Aditionally, should he run his finger over the shimmering blade, he would find that it easily made a cut, even with the little preasure applied.
Furthermore, the ammo Envy picked up were incendiary rounds. The rifle's magazine could hold 30 rounds.

Envy next picked up the gun he had taken from the armory, and loaded 1 bullet into it. He transformed to look exactly like one of the soldiers he had seen at the barracks. He walked a short distance away from the rest of the gear, aimed at the ocean, and pulled the trigger.

Rex sighs again as he brings his hands out of his hoodie pockets. In a split-second, he would get behind Marco and attempt to deliver a chop to the back of his neck with his bandaged hand. It would hurt and knock the man out if it connects. Even if we don't find this Ashley kid, I at least need my card back...

She thought with a sigh. "Might as well, before he wakes up. We're already in this deep." Jessica said as she went around exploring the building.
"I had mentioned the means to reach it, but if you have so little interest in pursuing this, then so be it. I had assumed you would be interested persuing this and put that rival of yours in his place, but it seems I was mistaken. A shame." Loki remarked as he turned to the receptionist, waiting for her to show him out. "A good day to you then."
Ness continues to lie on the ground and smiles a bit at Sav's comment. "It's funny... I feel the same way looking at the stars. Each little light could have another person looking up at it. It makes me feel connected to... everything."
