Rex carefully removes the button from the fallen collar and hands the squirrel beastkin one of Marco's loaded cards. "Sorry I scared ya, but it worked. Get moving and use the money on that card as you wish. You probably want to go out the back door while you're at it." He moves to start freeing more of the captive women in the same manner, handing out card to every 4th woman he freed. Cool... One last thing to do after this...

Ness enters the Government HQ and waves at the secretary. "Excuse me. We're looking for a blue van of some sort... or someone who may have inquired about the same sort of thing recently."

Blair just followed Ness and Kyosuse, just looking around quietly.

As Envy managed to fire off a couple of shots he felt a great pain in his chest. Looking down he would see a large spike of hardened earth had slammed into his chest. Several other pillars then came from the ground aiming to disarm him of his rifle. "I don't know if you're really that brave or just stupid, but you picked the wrong place to fight." Clarence voice boomed from a distance.

Sam also waited to see if Clarence had disarmed Envy before doing anything rash.

Several of the community members started to flee. Some of the men and women worked to put out some of the fires if they could, while others ran for safety with the youth.

Some of the ghost looked at Rita, their confused expressions becoming appearant for a brief moment when the cinders pronounced their facial features, others paid her little mind, moving towards the center of the square with seemingly not a care in the world.

Having left the house, Loki looked over the ghosts as the seemed to converge at the square. It would be a lie to say I have seen something like this before... The ghost that was in the house with Loki appeared in what would've been the door opening. [sub]"You're in the way..."[/sub] it spoke, its voice carrying a soft echo to it. Loki quickly stepped aside, but did nothing else. The ghost moved out of the house and turned around, making a movement as if it was closing the door and locking it, regardless of the fact that the door was no longer there.

"Everyone, move towards the wall to your right in an orderly fashion." One of the soldiers commanded. Those who were currently in the lobby of the government building complied, getting up and moving towards the wall. Five of the soldiers walked down stairs that were on either side of the balcony while the other five remained where the were. One soldier trained his lasersight infront of Ness' feet. "Ma'am, please step back. This place is under lockdown. No one is to enter or leave."

Jessica would find a button on the wall near the door, or a small remote in the van, that likely opened it. She may also find several control circuits for the deactivated droids.

As they see what Rex is doing, the women start to line up to be released. However, seeing that some of them are getting cards and others, not, they start to argue amongst themselves over whether they deserve them or not.

@Zeph, can you explain sensory magic? The codex doesn't make it clear, and I don't know how you could sense someone's mass if physical magic is just supposed to improve human senses


Rita backed away from the center of the town, since the creatures didn't seem immediately aggressive she did not attack, but took her scroll out anyways.

As the spikes moved to disarm him Envy fired off 3 shots into the crowd of people before letting it go and falling back, lifeless.

Ness looks over a bit surprised, then nods and complies with the soldier's orders.

Rex sighs a bit as he frees the last woman then looks to the bickering crowd.. "Look... ladies, I got those cards from Marco's office along with this key. Given what he's undoubtedly forced you to do, you all deserve to share the money on those cards. You're all adults, so stop bickering over the money like little kids and get the hell out of here." Afterward, he checks to see that he has the one card left he stole form Marco in his pocket before walking back to the brothel lobby to see if Marco is still there.

When Jessica hit the button, the door would open up revealing the rather slummy streets. Though, one could call them the streets of Freedom for those in this... place.

Rex's words fell on deaf ears. Theses women were all quite abused, but at the same time, they all felt that they were owed something. Something more than what those cards offered. Most of them couldn't return home with that money and few even felt that they could return home, after what had happened.

Marco was still in the lobby, unconscious.

Rex stands over Marco for a moment before picking the man up by his head with his bandaged hand. The demon looks at Marco with a bit of contempt before his arm sent a few thousand volts into the unconscious man. "I don't care what the rules to this world are. You deserve this.

@Furi: I'm... honestly surprised that would kill Envy. Sensory does in fact increase the senses, however there is such thing as 'tremor sense' which is often found in animals. I took a little creative liberty to say Margaret had that too. But if you want I could just say she heard Envy and then saw him through a window if you want instead.

Although in a panic, some of the wood cutters had come back and as some tried to calm the crowd, others when to check on the several people Envy managed to hit.

Clarence and Sam were highly cautious of Envy, Clarence used some more earth magic to nudge Envy to see if he was still there.
