Trilby blinked a few times, and realised everyone had vanished.

As the animals scatter Envy may notice that the several of them seemed rather odd. Different. As though some sort of radiation or magic had affected them. They had been changed slightly, with odd colors, and features.

Nybeth sighed and sat down on the ground outside. Perhaps I should simply move ahead with my plans on my own. It seems like doing so with the Xiphatian's support is impossible at this point. He pondered to himself.

"But unfortunately my suggestions apparently went completely unheeded, for the commander of this operation neglected to request enough reinforcements to move forward with my idea." He sighed before adding, "I believe I may simply move ahead on my own. Clearly my efforts are wholly unappreciated here. I've yet to even be paid for my contributions in the previous battle."

All that was in the Temple other than Envy was a skeleton. Long dead. Was it from the same group who had written on the walls or another?

As someone she didn't know walked up and identified her, she nodded slowly. "...Yes, that's my name... Who are you?" Seeing that he had guns on him didn't help to ease her tension. The last thing I need is to be called out for talking with a Legaian...

"I met a girl by the name of...Tao...kaka earlier today. She gave me a few things to tell you." Marston said in as polite a tone as he could manage.
