Ness looked over toward Trilby and shook her head. "We didn't get to searching at all, it was late once we got here. The closest place to here is Holadino, so we may as well try there 1st."

Seemingly unamused by the out-of-place plant exploding, Ness waved at Bertie. "Hello."

Noting Erica's wave, Rex ran over toward her. "Yo... Erica." He panted for a moment before noticing that Black was there as well. "... Yo, Black."

Holly followed Echo, holding onto her hand and humming slightly.

"I was resting" Black replied to Erica. "But I feel I can't waste the day away..." Black stare blank for a second. "Rex?...hmm...long time no see..." She replied.

@Outis: Yeah, I know, but at least she'd just be arrested for the ship crash, and not to be killed on sight...

I doubt anyone will kill her on sight.

A soldier ran over to Vanessa, Tribly, and Bertie. "The hell was that?" He asked looking around.

"Oh, sorry sir, the plant blew up." he said to the guard, "Nothing special, really."

"You were resting. Ontop of a tower?" Erica asked Black, then shruged, not really finding it a big deal save for being slightly odd. "Okay then." Seeing Rex approached, she smiled. "Good evening..." Erica began saying to Rex, but trailed off in an awkward manner. Reaching into her satchel, she retrieved her notebook and flipped to the most recent page, then moved her finger over the several notes present there. "Rex! Good evening."

Echo saw Rex and Black and went over to them. She smiled and waved at Black.

Marston walked up to Ness. "Howdy Miss Sinclair. I believe there's another town that's closer, now that you mention it. Pewtercove I think." he says.

"Um...Can Tao take this...home and fill it out, meow?" Tao asked as she picked the paper up.

OOC: What are the chances Envy will be involved with Tao's case though?

"It was an exploding plant. I would've though that'd be obvious." he said, indicating the debris.

Ness scratched her head. "I have no idea how the plant got there, but it did explode indeed." She turns toward the soldier as she continues. "Could you point me toward the General, please sir?"

She turned toward Marston and shook her head. "That is true, however Pewtercove is Xiphatian controlled. Tao would have been arrested already had she gone there."

Rex shrugged a bit as he caught his breath. "Yeah... been a while. How you holdi-" He would have continued had it not been for Yukino leaping off the tower and landing straight on his head, lightly and gracefully as usual. [color=bb66bb] "Yo Sparky~!" [/color] "...Back to what I was saying, how are you holding up?" Rex continued a bit annoyed.

Rex tilted his head a bit toward Erica. "Good evening... what's that notebook for?" He asked as he waved at both Echo and Holly.

"Why the Hell did a plant explode? For that matter, why is there a potted plant in the base?" The soldier replied.
Looking to Vanessa, he pointed her towards the Main Building. "He's in the office, there."

"Do as you wish, Ms..." The man replied.

"The usual, apart from that I'm ok" Black replied with a small shrug. "Who have you been Rex?" She asked. "At least it's not Just me you seem to annoy" She mused to Yukino. As Echo and Holly walked over and waved, Black raised an eyebrow. Was there a shift in the dimensions or something? or is this reunion party I never got the invite for? She wondered confused, but waved to Echo and Holly. "Hello Echo, Holly" She said in her usual tone.

"Hi again Miss emo Chick!" holly said giggling. "There you are Rex! Misss Vanesssa sssaid we need to keep an eye on you!" She said with a small giggle.

Black only sighed a little at Holly's statement.

Trilby shrugged.
"Maybe someone thought it would brighten the place up. As for why it exploded, I guess that's just one of life's mysteries..." he said, sagely.

Nybeth raised his hand once again and the Legaian corpse stopped its actions and returned to the corner. "Very well. This is something I can do. Is there anything else that will be necessary?" He replied to Loki.

"Well...I study magic. And I can move between two points instantaneously, and alter how objects travel through space and time. That's about it. There really isn't much I can do." Jessica replied to Tiberius in an almost self-depreciating manner.

"Thanks guy, meow." Tao said as she left and went back to Felina's place. When she got there, she asked Felina if she could help her fill out the paper.

"Hello...Echo..." Echo said. She was quite happy to see Black again, so she hugged her.

"Oh I assume one of you folks are a botanist or something, and Things tend to explode while I'm around, it's a sorta, thing you see, a very weird thingy thing that's sorta thingish, you see. The thing is very much a thing, and I personally don't mind the thing." he said very quickly to the solider, effectively making the word 'Thing' stop sounding like a word.
He looks at Trilby, "Jolly good philosophy that, good chap." he said.[hr]
Right below Holly, there's the soft sound of footsteps, sounding a few meters below the ground...
Holly might recognize them...
Tophat would sense... Something. Not a soul, or a mind, but... Something.

OoC @Yukino: "I supose it's posible. I do have a tendency to give teacher-y lectures, so I suppose I'm halfway there."

"Perhaps there may yet be a thing that you can aid me with at present. My conpanion mentioned you know things about training dragons. Is there truth to these claims?" Loki asked Nybeth.

"Oh, it's f--" Erica began explaining to Rex, but was interupted by another yelp as Yukino jumped down, landing on Rex's head. She lost her grip of the notebook, and only just managed to catch it. "What is it with the people here and their need to jump from towers?" she remarked, half jokingly, although there was a ever-so-slight annoyed tone presnt in her voice. Sighing, she stuffed the notebook back into her satchel and looked back up to Rex.

"I have trouble remembering new things. Writing them down helps in that regard..." she explained, rather embarassed, although this changed quickly when she saw the group that had assembled. Just like old times... she thought, taken by nostalgia.

Yukino giggled as she calmly flipped off of Rex and landed on the ground. [color=bb66bb] "He just hates me cause he can't beat me~." [/color] She turned to Erica and shrugged. [color=bb66bb] "The rooftops tend to be the most fun." [/color]

Rex's eye twitches slightly at this before shrugging toward Black again. "Uh... I've been roving dimensions and stuff. A lot of danger and a lot of fun. Aaaand I became a demon. Other than that, same old, same old." Turning back to Erica, he chuckles nervously. "Had the roof not been up so high, I might've been doing the same thing. And I understand that, my memory is pretty bad. But still, it's good to see I warranted a spot in your notebook."

He turned to smirk at Holly. "Right, right... Please take care of me then, eh?"

Ness nodded toward the soldier before walking into the building. "Thank you, sir."

 

[Saltyk]

"That sounds useful. Are there any limits to those abilities?" Tiberius asked Jessica, leaning forward.

"You are all speaking drivel." The soldier said. He looks to Bertie. "And how did you get here? We have not granted you permission to be on our base. Come with me."

"What's this?" Felina asked Tao, a bit confused.

He sat down and started trying to put the pot back together with sellotape.
