Jona grinned and nodded.
"Safe, good. Others, better than one. Alone very long, difficult." He scowled at his own inept use of language, but shrugged it off and resolved to practice with the others whenever he could.
"Not sure I'd call it great luck." Kynn said nervously, shuffling from one foot to the next. "Hang on. I'll have to grab some stuff before we go." Hurrying to the storage compartment on his pod he took out a large backpack and began stuffing foil wrapped blocks into it. When they were all in he took a number of mechanical components. Finally, he swept in several plastic bags filled with a red substance, ppushing these in hurriedly before sealing the bag and slinging it on his back, just above the shotgun that he had taken earlier.
"Alright then. Lead on." He said to the others as he came back.
"Yeah, there are reasons. Just not very good ones." He said bitterly to Athena. "People assume that we're beggars and thieves, based entirely on Quarians who've been sent away from the fleet on Pilgrimage. Any who do steal usually have no choice, because they've been left in a desperate situation with no money or resources, and face permanent exile, homelessness and starvation."
