Ness waved Jessica off before sighing a bit. "Be careful!" I really hope that I won't regret this later... She calmly digistructed Four's book as she began to read as she walked back toward town. Hm... Maybe I should check up on Felina at some point today...

Rex raised his hand. "I call bs on your first rule. Other than that, I'm happy."

Marcus shrugged from next to Kynn. "I'm hoping for a way to shut the EMP off, though I'll settle for a good ruckus."
Lyra looks the group over, and snorts, muttering "one irregular combat unit..."
Xyleena seemed to practically bounce in excitement for the fight, frequently looking over to Jona to make sure he was okay.

"Well, what exactly were you wanting help for?" Savranth asked.

Rita would eventually spot a large building with some intricate gargoyles on it.

@Furioso: I've got Jessica there.

Seems a little greedy to call dibs on any treasure...then again it would be rude to bring something like that up seeing as how this is probably my only chance at actually getting to examine these ruins. Jessica thought to herself as she simply stood by and waited for Envy to open the door she couldn't get through. She didn't show much interest in the exterior ruins as she had already examined them.

 

[Random berk]

Kynn nodded in response to Marcus.
"I have to say, I prefer when a 'salvage job' goes smoothly, but if things turn nasty, I have this." He unslung the sleek looking shotgun from his back and pressed a button on the stock, causing it to telescope out with a click and a high pitched whine. He pumped it experimentally, producing a business-like ratcheting sound, and nodded with satisfaction.

Jona grinned at Xyleena's excitement and drew his sword. Though he didn't waste effort putting on a display with the Force, energy seemed to gather around him in a cloud of tension.

Seems like the right place... thought Rita as she walked inside.

Envy frowned at Rex "Look, you don't like it then leave. I said I get first pick, you can all fight over each other for second pick if you want." Turning to Savranth he said "Well who knows what's in here. Just wouldn't be safe without a team, now lets go." He turned around and placed the key in the slot.

... Mind no work now, I need sleep. I'm going to bed, see you guys tomarrow, here's hoping I'm on at the time.

As Envy placed the artifact in the slot, it seemed to lock. The artifact glowed slightly and a small humming could be heard, and then it seemed to die down, with the artifact no longer glowing. It seemed as though nothing would happen for a moment.

Then the humming grew louder as the object shined brightly and the door slowly slid open. It was slow at first most likely due to being shut for so long, but the action was steady and grew quicker until the whole door opened revealing...

A dark room. Little could be seen save a small pedestal. On the pedestal sat a sword. The hilt of the blade was black and it seemed to be a straight double edged weapon. Though, it didn't seem to have any sort of decoration.

"Seems a bit odd..."

Inside the building was an enormous library. Hundreds, perhaps thousands of books. As well as near a hundred holographic computers and displays.

Sonofa.. Ugh... forget it. Rex dejectedly follows the group and looks at the sword. "Oh. I was expecting sort of an adventure. Still, just a treasure room is pretty good too."

Woah... this book is really starting to go dark places... This woman is amazing none-the-less, to go through all of that would completely shatter a normal person... Ness mused as she closed the book. Not seeing much else to do, she wanders around until she happens to find Felina's house. She pauses for a moment before knocking on the door. ...With that mech, she must've been fighting in that battle... I hope she's alright...

"So, whos gonna trigger the first tra- I mean, take the first step into there?" Marcus asked, at a lack of words to say.

"Seems like a pretty stupid idea." Kynn said. "What about sending a drone in first? It might set off whatever traps are in there."

 

[Furioso]

Rita walked up to one of the computers and tried to use it to look up airhips. If the computer functioned largely like a normal one she would be able to use it, touch screen included.

"Hmmm..." said Envy before Kynn spoke "Drone? If you have somethin that could set off traps, go ahead."

 

[Saltyk]

"If you're so concerned, I'll go in first. I've mastered High Speed Movement magic and should be able to avoid any such traps." Savranth suggested, stepping forward.

After a few moments, Felina answers the door. "Hello. Vanessa, what are you doing here?"

Rita would see several subjects on airships pop up.

Kynn nodded and propped his shotgun against his calf. Raising his left hand, his forearm became enveloped in a sleeve of holographic panels that blinked in response to his touch. He ran through a few complicated looking processes on the device, then it began to scan an orange holo-orb into the air in front of him. Once the orb was complete it rotated and then hovered through the doorway, firing short range bolts of energy around it as it went.

Jessica didn't seem terribly interested in the only thing that was actually visible in the room. Reaching into her coat, she pulled out her visor and placed the frame on her head. After fiddling with the control for a bit, the screen came down over her eyes. A little more work brought up the low-light vision feature, which she intended to use to examine the room aside from the pedestal and sword. "Hang on, I'll check and see if there's anything else in the room."

Rex just waltzed in, giving less than half a shit. "Stop being wusses."

Ness smiled a bit as Felina answered the door. "I was in the neighborhood and decided to visit... and to check on you after I heard about the battle here." She added a little glumly.
