Savranth dodged to the side to avoid a rock, cutting it with the sword.

When Rex hit the sword it had a slight yellow glow. "Actually..." Savranth turned to the yellow box and thrust the blade in it. Electricity charged through the device as the box seemed to split open. Within the box was a deep circular pit. It glowed yellow.

"These look like forges... But not one I've ever seen before."

Charge at 70%.

The shield remained up as the mech finished the last of it's repairs and a great wind began to rip through the ruins. The machine generated wind with great force and eventually began firing vaccum slash like attacks at each person.

 

[Random berk]

OOC: I'm done for the night. Later!

Jona glanced back through the door at the mech, then sighed and slumped against the wall with his head down, too tired to continue fighting.

 

[Wackymon]

Grace continues to try to doge the attacks, and see's the glow.
"GUYS! USE MAGICYTHINGIES ON THE SWORD, OKAY!" she shouts, continuing to try to doge the attacks.

OoC: I work the opening shift tomorrow, gonna have to go, control me if need be

Envy avoided the wind attack by ducking out of the room into the outer area.

Ness breathed deeply as Lyra began to take over nurse duty. She looked into the temple to see the mech back to normal and even stronger. She sighed before shaking her head. "If my Light Sniper wasn't enough to at least keep that thing crippled, I've got nothing left..." She slumped up against the outside wall and took a few deep breaths to recover.

Rex brought up his guard again before getting cut a few times. He grunted as he continued to but his guard up. "Sav... block one of those with the sword... Pretty sure that's the next step." He yelled as loud as he could over the roaring winds.

"Oh those?" Sophia looked to the glowing glyphs on the room's surfaces. 'They are shining a little stronger today...' She thought sadly.

"Those are there so that any magic floating in the room, or any stray magic spells don't hurt anyone practicing. They're kind of like magic sponges I guess you could say. They're really helpful." Sophia stated.

Erica wouldn't be able to smell the chocolate anymore.

"I'm sure anything would work great, meow." Tao said with a large grin.

OOC: Long day, so I say goodnight.

Once Data was off her coat, Jessica hurriedly reached around in the pockets until she found her canteen. Taking a small swig of the bitter red drink, she cringed a little, then sighed as the pain from her wound began to fade as it knit itself back together while she was under the effects of the potion. She then quickly picked up her coat and put it back on, hoping nobody had been paying her enough attention to notice her mechanical arm while she had it uncovered. She frowned at her burned sleeve, but was ultimately happy that her left sleeve had been burned instead of her right. After all of that was done, she walked over to the makeshift medical area outside the Antechamber. "So what now? Are we just going to run away?"

 

[Chungus]

"So, the floor has been enchanted with something that alow it to neutralize stray magic. Fascinating. I've never heard of anything like that." Erica said as she reached into her satchel and retrieved her notebook. Flipping it open and fishing out the piece of charcoal from between the pages, Erica flipped to a blank page and began writing. "We certainly don't have anything like this in Winterhold. There, when practicing offensive magic, students raise a ward to protect themselves while a spell is cast at them. It's not ideal, I must say. I suppose it does provide for oppertunities for students to practice healing magic, however." she added. Finishing writing, she looked at the glowing insignia, something nagging at her in the back of her mind, but she couldn't quite put her finger on what it was. She didn't give the fact that she couldn't smell the chocolate any more much thought, believing that the smell simply hadn't reached the training room.

Seeing the wind slash coming his way, Savranth slashed his own sword unleashing a vacuum slash himself to counter the mech's attack.

Savranth Magic Level Up!  Wind Magic: Adept

"I don't think that's necessary. I can generate wind magic as well." He said looking at the mech.

Main Cannon Charge 100%.

The mech's shield dropped as the head opened up and the inner section surged with blue energy. Particles seemed to appear before the nozzle as a small ball of energy appeared before it and grew steadily larger until it was the size of a beach-ball.

"That's... There's no way! Something that size shouldn't be able to-" Savranth screams. "Get behind something! And pray to whatever God your people believe in!"

The energy shot of with a series of powerful lasers going off and seeming to arch and spread as they go. Soon, half the chamber would be consumed by the blast and anything hit would be perforated like Swiss cheese. Even WITH a shield.

OoC: Well, I was trying to wait on FPS... I don't want to miss his posts...

"A ward? Like a shield?" Sophia asked Erica. "If that was the case, I don't know how safe I would feel practicing magic... my shield magic can't even block a crumpled piece of paper let alone magic spells..." She said a little jokingly. "And I can't get my healing magic to work either, so I guess I'm lucky I ended up here." She said with a slight grin, but at the same time there was an air of anxiousness about how she put it.

Grace dives behind the Mech, and uses IT as a sheild, blocking the lazer attacks.

Marcus began running to the room the medical ward had set up in, and had mostly made it behind cover when the laser came by, incinerating his hand to reveal gleaming steel for his hands. Shreiking, Marcus fell behind cover, bleeding badly.
OoC sorry about that.

 

[Chungus]

"A shield, yes." Erica answered as she put the piece of charcoal between the pages of her notebook again and put this back in her satchel. Turning to Sophia, Erica held out her right hand, conjuring up a Lesser Ward. Infront of Erica, a shimmering barrier of semi-tranparant silver-ish light was manifested, with equally semi-tranparant blue and green colour around the edges. The ward was as large as Erica was tall. "This would be a ward. While they're mostly meant to block magical attacks, they can lessen the impact of physical attacks also. They really drain Magicka, however. So it's generally unwise to have them active for an extended period of time." she explained, letting the ward collaps half way through her explaination. Looking back to the glowing insignia, Erica hmm'd in thought.

Rex's eyes widened at the mech before he used his boosters to shove himself into a corner as far away from the mech as possible. He ended up landing and ducking behind one of the boxes in the room, but not before a laser pierced through his bandaged arm. "Well.... this sucks..." The wound bled out quite a bit, but it began to close as Rex kept behind cover.

Ness heard the various noises and lasers going off. Hearing Jessica, she shook her head. "Regardless, we should try to move these people farther away from the action. The way this fight is sounding they might bring the entire temple down with them. Once we're done with that, I'll see what I can do about this fight..." Ness calmly picked Kynn and Jona up before carrying them farther away from the battle. She began healing Marcus after she did so.

Savranth had hid behind the opened forge part.

The mech's head closed.

Main Cannon: Cooling Down

Getting up, Savranth looked to the others. "Distract it. I'll go for one of the other devices." He said running for one of the other boxes.

It looked to Savranh.

Target acquired.

 

[Wackymon]

Grace gets directly in the way of the Mech's line of sight.
"Hey!"
She then begins to shake the mech's head, trying to screw with it's aim.

 

[Drakmorg]

Jessica nodded and picked up whoever was still left incapacitated and followed after Ness, doing her best to carry them. Since she wasn't particularly strong naturally, she focused most of the person's weight on her mechanical arm. "I'm really starting to wonder if this is even worth it anymore. I mean sure, that magical robot is interesting, but I'm really not sure it's worth everyone getting injured over disabling it." She pondered aloud as she followed.

 

[Zepherus14]

"Wooh." Sophia murmured to herself as she looked at the ward for the brief time it was active. 'So Erica's magic is similar to mine then that it has limits? Xiphatians don't seem to have a limit as I've seen.'

"So does all your magic come from this... Magicka you said? Like your healing, or that storm one from before?" She asked.

Marcus pulled himself out of the room, groaning from the pain. Nevertheless, he charged towards the machine in a wordless yell, swinging out with his mechanical hand.
