Rex grunted as the winds began to pick up again. Ness swiftly digitized her rifle back into her belt before running and taking cover along with Rex. She struggled to keep her fedora on behind the cover of one of the unopened forges. Heh... Could be worse...

Marcus slid towards the beast, but didn't back down, yelling out insults to distract from Savranth. "Wow, you're a dumb little robot. Who put you together, toddlers? Skynet made robots loads better then you, and if you're any indication your makers probably shoved the round peg up your nose as a child. now how about you come over here and fight me like a man, eh? Stop all that tornado crap. Really lame."

"Calm down, dear. You won't be achieving anything by getting all agitated over the lack of progress. Learning magic takes a great deal of time and patience." Erica said to Sophia, changing her tone of voice to sound more soothing, noting Sophia's annoyed tone. "Now, if you're certain you can't get it to work as intended, what you need to do is start over from scratch and try another approach. Often, you'll find that by trying multiple approaches, you'll have a better idea of what works best for you."

Her examination of the bone now complete, Jessica flung it away from her as hard as she could, coincidentally throwing it directly at the robot. "Those wells cover whatever falls in them with enchantments!" Jessica shouted, announcing her discovery to everyone else. Except that does absolutely nothing to help us stop that thing....Stupid androgynous...person should have just gone with my plan. She thought to herself as she started refocusing herself on a particular task.

OoC: @Drak in terminator salvation its established that Skynet recruited people before she dropped nukes. Made them into cyborgs, which was both the most confusing and the main focus of salvation. Everything Marcus has spoken about, his dad, he being gay, and he being british, all real, just before he was cyborg-ed.

Being enchanted with wind magic, the bone broke the tornado effect and hit the machine. Much to Jessica's surprise this would also tear off a chunk of the armor. The bone hits the ground, but ceases it's glow.

Error.  Does not compute.  Main Cannon Charged at 33%

The mech levies laser barrels at each person and fires.

OoC: @FPS: You know the original planned ending for it was that they would find that Skynet was protecting humans. And those we were following were the bad guys or just didn't know.

"But this is the only way I know how to do it... Without it condensing, it doesn't have any affect... How do you do your healing from Winterhold?" She asked, seemingly calmed down a bit, although it was apparent to Erica that Sophia had been brooding over this issue for a while. She had tried quite a few different ways already with no success.

Marcus watched the bone break the armor, and looked back at Jess. he quickly plucked a bone from the ground and heaved it after her toss, aiming for a similar spot. the laser slices off more skin, revealing more machinery.

Lyra rolled her eyes, at this point doing all she could have done to help the wounded. "Hit it with wind magic, you idiot! Its not the bones its weak to! Sav, holding the sword in the forge thingie will give it a wind enchantment, which should slice through the things armor."

Rex ducks behind the forge to avoid the lasers. Ness does the same from where she is, but tosses a few bones toward the Wind forge, noting the results Jessica had shown them.

@FPS: You know, I actually saw that movie and completely forgot about that. Then again it wasn't that great a movie, so it makes sense I just wouldn't remember it.

As a laser cannon was leveled towards the door at her, Jessica shrieked and disappeared in a bright silver flash of light, causing the beam that was subsequently fired to fly out through the doorway instead of hitting her in the head. Several seconds later she reappeared, standing in the exact same position she was when she disappeared. She was now panting and sweating slightly, showing obvious signs of fatigue. "You all saw that, right?...I don't have to explain what needs to be done now, right?" She shouted out to everyone who was still up and fighting, sounding slightly winded.

"Well..." Erica began, holding out her right hand towards Sophia, the palm facing up. "The healing magic I learned works by manipulating the forces of life. To cast a healing spell, Magicka is focused on premoting the healing of the body." she explained, adn as she did, a small sphere of golden light formed in the open palm of her hand. Pointing the palm with the sphere towards Sophia, golden light flowed from the sphere, into Sophia. Although as she wasn't actually wounded, it did little more then give her a slight tingly sensation. "If used right, it can be used to heal even the most grievious of wounds. I, however, am no master. My talents for healing are rather limited. Especially when it comes to burns. Those are complicated..." she explained further, disipating the ball of light. "Did that help any?"

 

[Saltyk]

"Seems like we should dip any weapons or ammo we have into the forges..." Savranth says as he run to the red forge. Applying a fireball to the blade, he then places it into the keyhole. With an impressive display of flames bursting from the device it splits open to reveal a large hole with a red glow.

Main Cannon at 70%

The bone Marcus threw bounced off harmlessly.
Seeing the blade, still in Savranth's hands the machine charged him with it's body electrified.

Marcus ran after the equine, trying to grab it to pull it away from Savranth.

OoC @Salty I just realized how awkward that would have been for marcus and Skynet.
"So son, killed any humans lately?"
"Fuck you, you're not even my real mom!"

Ness nods toward Sav before running over to the green forge and switching her rifle out for her black magnum. She drops the revolver into the forge and catches it as it's popped back out. She takes aim and fires twice: once at the hole in its armor and another at a joint before taking cover again.

Rex shrugged and stayed where he was since he really didn't want to shove his arm into the forge... things.

Jessica went back to examining the room. Okay, so the brown one's probably Earth...no clue how to get that one open...I guess the blue one would be water...Oh! She disappeared in a white flash of light, reappearing at the base of the mountain by the shore of the lake. This is probably a good idea, I was needing to ration this stuff better. She thought as she pulled out her canteen and refilled the remaining contents with water. With another teleportation she ended up outside the Antechamber once again. "Savranth!...Please tell me you can do water magic!" She shouted, sounding more winded, as she tossed her canteen to Savranth through the doorway.

 

[Saltyk]

Vanessa's shot instantly breaks the joint as Marcus grabs the machine and throws it down, though he would suffer from the electricity that was flowing through the machine.

Savranth catches the Canteen. "As of this morning..." He says running over to the blue forge. He opens the canteen and applies a coating of water to the blade, buy running the water down the blade with his hand. Then puts it into the forge keyhole. Steam rises from the device as it splits open, revealing a large hole with a blue glow.

Begin repair protocol.....

The equine mech jumped up to the ceiling and began to run rapidly to the far side of the room.

I guess we just have to hope that's enough...or that the robot uses Earth magic on its own that can be exploited. Jessica took cover against the wall next to the door way and slumped down to a sitting position. "Everyone alright...in there?" She called into the room, wondering if there was still anything more she could do to contribute to ending the fight quicker.
