Opening the book, Dal'Sheed would find it mentioned a lost civilisation in the mountains of Rocbyrd. It is uknown what happened to those who lived there, given the state the ruins were in, it is estimated they disappeared roughly 5,000 years ago. In the current day and age, Rocbyrd is now a mining site. From time to time, acient relics, made of either stone or bone are digged up, wich are subsequently sold to a museum in the city of Fourside.

As Yukino hopped over him and delivered a kick, Blake made a single step to the right and caugh Yukino's leg between his left arm and side. Then, he twisted around in an attempt to throw Yukino off-balance.

The book Ness read listed three more incidents, before moving on to events were Xiphatians and Legaians attempt to make magic and technology compatible. All attempts ended with the technology either exploding, or becoming inert. After listing these cases, the book ended.

Rookie picked a book detailing records of inteligent races that were neither human, nor beastkin.

Lyra looked at the strange rune markings at the base of the tower, and shrugged. She then stepped onto it, wondering what would happen.
Makoto nodded to Noel automatically, but she was stil looking around. Panic crept into her voice. "Not again..." She turned to Noel. "Have you seen another woman around here? About this tall, red hair, goes by the name of Grace?"
"Castlewood? Yes I've heard of it. That's what my home is called. At least, that's what it was called, before it was renamed." Jessica replied to Sable, having moved her left hand to her chin to think. "Wait, what's your name?" She then asked, her tone sounding slightly urgent.

Echo got tired of her book as she put it away and decided to go over by Ness.

Charlotte turned to the librarian, as some faint memories of her time at the Vanguard Academy started to leak in. Gripping her head, and rubbing her temples she said. "Uhh... Do this Academy have a place I can rest my head for awhile? I'm... getting a headache."

Noel simply shook her head. "I am sorry but no. Well since you kinda know me, I guess I'll tell you my name. Captain Noel Jennifer Linden of the Wardens."

Saya started to collect some small twigs and place them in a bundle on the ground, she then cast a small fire spell from her staff and made a campfire, she sat near it, enjoying the warm and catching the fish from earlier.

Since the group had arrived in Winterhorn, Cynane had been wandering around in the library, staring enraptured at the shelves and shelves of books, towering over her head. She ran her hands across a row of spines and pulled one out, not even bothering to look at the title.
"By the spirits, there's so many of them! And they're so well put together too! How long must it have taken to harvest all this vellum?" She said as she went, speaking to herself in her incredulity.

Ness takes more notes on the incidents and sighs at the discovery that magic and technology were incompatible. Enough time in this world and I should be able to fix that... As Echo approaches her in her peripheral vision, Ness looks over and gives her a warm smile. "Did you find anything interesting here, Echo? I might need some help looking for something." As she says this, the scientist rises up out of her chair and walks over toward a librarian.

Makoto swore quietly, then looked at Noel. "Nice to meet you,. Sorry for the mixup, I know someone a lot like you. She's back in my own... world..." She sighed. "The third time! This is the THIRD time I fell into another world by accident! Ok, the first time I didn't know the difference, and the second was pretty cool, but... not again..." She gave off a strangled cry of frustarion and sadness.
"Interesting..." Echo said in an iffy fashion. "Help looking for something?" she then asked as she followed Ness.
after eating, Saya skipped around the campfire a little. Chanting a few things while throwing a silver powder into the fire.
"I am sorry to hear about your own misfortunes..." Noel lowered her head as she said. "Maybe if you stick with the group I'm with... We could find a way back home?" Bringing up home, Noel heavily sighed. "[sub]I'm stuck here with no way back... I miss 'hearing' the rest of my family.[sub]Especially Austin...[/sub][/sub]"

Okay, since it's clear I downright suck as a GM, I'm gonna step down as soon things are set up for the next event.
"Yes, I do. This is a cafetaria, afterall." the dinner lady answered Tao, sounding confused. "What can I get for you?"

Like the others before her, Lyra was surrounded by a blue and white light, then teleported to the first floor of the secondary tower. Charlotte and Rita were on the same floor.
As Rita searched, she would eventually find the person Charlotte was talking to. Given that her attire was diferent from the students present in the secondary tower, it stood to reason she was a member of staff.
"Why, yes." The librarian answered Charlotte. "The student dorms are on the exactly opposite of the library. But, if you're suffering from headaches, you might want to pay a visit to the healers on the third floor of the main tower."
Seing Ness walk towards her also, the librarian gave a small smile before turning back to Charlotte. Oh my, so many new faces today.

Blake stumbled back as he was kicked in the mid section by Yukino. After regaining his balance, he smiled and momentarily flashed a faint orange. After this, a jet of flame errupted from his body, going for the fox girl.

As Rookie entered te main tower, he would find a plaque showing what the various floor are used for, with the head mistress' office being on the top floor.
