Ness buckled herself back in as Lyra started driving again. Noting what Lyra had said, she looked down into her own lap and twiddled her thumbs for a bit. "I didn't mean to sidestep that. I'll be honest: I do like you, Lyra, but not in that way. I'm not even sure if I would try to delve deeper into my relationship with Jessica. I don't want to do anything too forward and jeopardize my relations with either of you..."

 

[Drakmorg]

"Uh, yeah, that's exactly it actually. Guess I shouldn't really be surprised that you could manage to guess that though." Jessica replied to Erica. Getting a little bored of aimlessly wandering around, she stopped and leaned up against the wall, holding her hands behind her back. "We've been friends pretty much since the first day we both showed up in this dimension. That was...over two months ago now, I believe." She answered, pausing to count days in her head for a few moments.

 

[Furioso]

Rita said nothing.

[hr]

Envy frowned "Poison? That's really not my style... and why do you want me to do this anyways? Last I checked you were on their side..."

 

[FPSfanatic]

Lyra nodded as she landed the craft. "want my opinion? Be a bit more forward with Jessica. Not so forward that you guys are doing anything unsafe, but try to kiss her or something. You've been dating, what, 6 weeks now? Time to start a braver approach." Lyra hopped out of the craft. "after all, we could die any day. I've got to head out. Talk to you later Ness." with that, Lyra left the room.

 

[DotSlash]

Ness calmly hopped out of the shuttle and she waved Lyra off. "...More forward ...huh?" She murmured to herself before wandering around trying to find Jessica.

 

[Chungus]

Loki tilted his head slightly, while having an uninterest facial expression. "It was but a suggestion. Take a more direct route, if you wish. It matters not to be, as long as they do indeed parish. As for why exactly I wish to see them fall? Simple, really. As I said last we met, I am only allied with them superficially. I have no love for either side in this conflict, and only wish the war comes to an end."

"It was the only think I could think of that would alow people to, in a sense, be near oneanother, even if there are great distances dividing them." Erica answered.Seeing as how Jessica came to a stop, Erica and Valentine did the same. Erica leaned against a wall also, standing opposite, holding her right arm with her left. Valentine stood next to Erica with her arms crossed. "So, you've met her when coming to this dimension? That's nice. People appearing in diferent dimensions forges some of the bests friendships, I find."

 

[Furioso]

Rita put her book away.

[hr]

Envy narrowed his eyes at Loki "Is that so? I guess I could kill some brats. How would you repay me if I did?"

 

[Drakmorg]

Speaking of that mental link..."Hey, Vanessa. What'cha been up to today? You done with that task for Lyra yet?" Jessica thought, keeping some to herself and transmitting the rest to Ness. She chuckled a little at what Erica said. "Yeah, it's kinda funny how that works, isn't it? Vanessa was the first friend I made in 15 years, and I met her my first day away from...well, home basically."

 

[Chungus]

"I sent on your way home. That is what you desired most, was it not?" Loki asked, and after a pause added, "Oh, and if you were able to implicate this Destroyer White spoke off in this, then this would be appreciated."

"The first friend in fifteen years? If I might ask, is there a reason for this?"

 

[Furioso]

How would he even pull that off? thought Rita

Envy smiled a disturbing smile. "That would be the easy part. And you can really send me home? You have a deal Mr...?"

 

[DotSlash]

Ness jolted a small bit as she received the mental link message suddenly. "Oh... I've just been sightseeing more or less... I'm back on the ship we came back on. Are you here too?"

 

[Drakmorg]

"Well, after a while of trying to make friends and failing, at one point you just kinda give up...you know?" Jessica replied to Erica, skirting the question somewhat as it was an unpleasant one to talk about. "So you've still got stuff to do then, eh? Ah well. Anyway, yeah I'm still on this same space-boat. Just been killing time talking with Miss Erica." Jessica started looking around at her surroundings to see where in the space-ship her aimless wandering had brought her.

 

[Chungus]

"But of course. How do you propose I came to be here? Stumble upon it by accident? I think not. I would prefer not to create portals between dimensions until this war comes to an end so to not raise unnecessary attention, but exceptions can be made." Loki remarked, more amused by Envy's smile then anything else. "As for my name? Laufey, of Jötenheim. And by what name might I call you?"
[hr]
"Hmm. I can't say I've ever expirienced something like that, but I can imagine it having the effect it did. And I'm sorry to hear it." Erica answered, then smiled slightly. "If it's any consolation, I like being with you well enough."

 

[Furioso]

"The name's Envy, and call me a skeptic, but I think you got here the same way everyone else did. How bout you show me one of your portals in that cave over there? That wouldn't draw any attention from anyone else."

"Oh... I'm not actually doing anything anymore... I honestly feel like talking with you for a little bit" Ness casually telegraphed as she continued to wander.

 

[Chungus]

"Envy...? An odd name, that." Loki answered as he walked towards the dragon den. Once there, Loki looked at Rita, saying, "If you would make sure that the young ones would not go through the portal." Having said that, Loki turned to Envy and raised his scepter, holding it out infront of him with an outstretched arm. "This will take a moment." The gem in the scepter began lighting up, emitting a glow that looked like a flame dancing in the wind.

 

[Drakmorg]

Jessica looked back over at Erica and gave her a smile. "Thanks. That's nice to hear. Especially coming from someone like you, Miss Erica." She let her gaze shift back to aimlessly wandering about. "Alright then, I'm all ears....I mean, uh...brains? Brain-ears?...That idiom really doesn't work in this situation...Or did you mean in person? If so, I've got no clue where I am right now. I'll just meet you back at the room." Stepping away from the wall, she looked back at Erica. "I think I'll head back to the sleeping quarters now." She announced before doing so.

 

[Furioso]

Rita nodded and went to go corral the dragonlings.

Envy stood back and watched, his head tilted curiously.

Ness giggled softly at what Jessica said and nodded... before facepalming herself for nodding to no one and looking somewhat foolish. "Ah... alright. I'll meet you in the room then." She calmly made her way toward the sleeping quarters.

 

[Chungus]

When Rita approach, Ba'ul perked up. Walking over to her, he began nudging her leg lightly, wanting a treat.

After roughly four minutes, between Loki and Envy, there formed a small ball of bright blue light, which began crackling with energy before discharging. Although the discharge moved harmless past Loki and Envy, the electronical devices Envy carried were disabled for a moment. Where the ball had been, there now was a portal of swirling blue light.

"And here we are. This portal would take you to another dimension. I advice you against stepping through, however, as I can create one-way portals only."
[hr]
"Alright then. This isn't the most inspiring place to have a conversation anyway." Erica answered with a chuckle. Moving away from the wall also, both Erica and Valentine followed Jessica back. "What do you mean with "especially someone like you", though?"
