When Rookie stepped in, the nurse, a dog beastkin, gasped upon seeing his state and rushed over to him. "Docter! Someone is wounded!" Reaching Rookie, she helped support his weight. "You're going to be alright now." she said reassuringly as she lead him to a chair in the waiting room. She noticed the ripple in the air from her peripheral vision, but didn't pay it much attention.

In Granite Pass, the supervisor had informed the company that radioactive material had been uncovered in the mines. The day after, a special team dealing with enviromental hazzards arived on the scene. Speaking to the supervisor, the ordered the mining operation in the shaft be suspended until further notice, and after the few miners that were currently working in the shaft had left, they send in a droid to retrieve the radioactive material. Moving towards the paticular tunnel where the sphere was lodged in the stone, the droids equipment picked up the high levels of radiation being emitted by the sphere. The fact that the sphere was indeed the source of the radiation, the droid began to cut away at the stone surrounding the sphere with a laser until the sphere was freed. Then, the droid picked up the sphere and placed it in a metal container of which the inner casing was made of lead, then moved out of the mine shaft and entered into the back of the black hover van in which the team arived. The removal sucsessful, the team left Granite Pass, heading to Fourside, having been instructed to bring the sphere to Lucia for further analysis.
