As the others headed out, Danielle smiled toward the entire group and gave Lauren a small nod. [color=ff00ff] "Alright then, assuming you're all ready, let's get going~!" [/color] She said with a bit of energy to her voice as she turned and began walking down the beach once again. JD followed after, lacing his hands behind his head. [color=333388] "Alright, so... let's try not to go too heavy on the guns if stuff ends up attacking us. This gate led to something underground. We don't want the place coming down on us while we're in there." [/color]
[color=333388] "Thaaaank you!" [/color] JD stated casually as Danielle suddenly took a turn and began to move through the brush. There was a pathway cut through as Danielle continued trudging ahead. As they continued, the tree cover from above would intensify very quickly beginning to make the area a lot darker than one would expect during the day. Despite this, Danielle continued forward, moving rather quickly through the mess of branches and leaves.
After a long while of trudging through, the group came up to a large stone gate with numerous markings on each individual block. It stood tall and has open, nothing but pitch black visible within it. [color=ff00ff] "...Well then, you guys ready?" [/color] Danielle asked as she turned toward the others.

"One second." Samus said. She switched to the scan visor and targeted the markings, trying to translate them.
As Samus scanned the markings, nothing would come up linking it to anything. Danielle blinked as she looked toward Samus and snapped on her flashlight, sending a strong beam of light into the darkness and lighting up a wide pathway that began to lead downward. [color=ff00ff] "Did you see anything?" [/color]
"No. There doesn't seem to be any significance behind these markings. If there is, I don't have the right translator to read them." Samus said, switching back to the combat visor. Seeing the sloping hallway, Samus stepped onto the cusp of it, arm cannon raised as she looked over the hall, lowering it again when she was satisfied it was clear.
[color=333388] "Uh.... Shadowy... How's being a fairy?" [/color] JD replied back as he began to walk forward into the ruins after the others. Danielle made sure to take point as the others began to file into the gate.
The hallway began to smell damp and slowly but surely began to get more wet and muddy, causing each person's footsteps to sound sloshy.

Seras brought up the rear, looking around with her see-in-the-dark-eyes.

[/color] Danielle snapped back to Navi and Link, scowling a bit as Link played his ocarina. JD simply shrugged in response. [color=333388] "Magic... Or something like that, I guess. I don't really question it." [/color]
As the group continued downward, the slope got more and more slippery until Danielle suddenly slipped and began sliding down rapidly. Her light flailing wildly as she continued sliding. [color=ff00ff] "Waaaaaa[small]aaaaaaa[/small][sub][sup]aaaaa...[/sup][/sub]" [/color]
If the group had no light sources of their own, they'd be in the pitch black. Seras might see that there were similar markings to what was on the gate on the walls leading down the pathway.
