Axton sighed and slid down the tunnel he had heard Samus shout from. Seras reluctantly followed.
Samus looked at Axton and Seras as they came down the slope. "At least it has a roof." Samus said to Seras with a hint of snark.
[color=ff00ff] "Alright then... Let's get going... Keep watch." [/color] Danielle stated as she shined her light down the left hallway and began to walk down toward it. The hallway started off straight but slowly began to snake around, going upward, downward, left and right. There would be a few paths shooting off to the side. As with the cavern, there were glowing plants strewn about and there were markings on the walls similar to the ones on the gate.
As they continued onward, the group ended up landing in another large, waterfilled cavern after another small slide down as the hallway arced once more. As the group came up to the area, there were four tall poles standing erect and each pole had a large tile laying on the ground next to it. There was a solitary door on the other side of the cavern and seemed to be locked tight. The various marking were decorating the walls thickly in this room.
Those with exceptional hearing might note that there was the sound of faint skittering moving around the group.

Samus looked round the room as they entered, then lowered her cannon, satisfied it was clear due to not hearing the skittering. Noting the tiles near the poles, she scanned one, thinking it was a pressure plate or some other kind of mechanism.
OoC: She has a motion tracker but it has a short range, so I don't think whatever it is would trigger it yet.

"There is a door." Axton pointed out as he tried to move toward it.

As Samus scanned one of the plates, she'd noticed it was indeed a pressure plate and it seemed to connect to the pole closest to it and others.
The poles were lined up in a square format: the one in the top-left position beginning to glow blue, the top-right glowing orange, the bottom-left glowing red and the bottom-right one glowing green.
As Axton moved toward the doorway, it did nothing.
The skittering would have stopped after a bit of time.

Samus walked over to the plate near the orange-flame pole, stepping on the plate but ready to jump off at a moment's notice.
As the plate was stepped on, the orange pole's glow brightened intensely as did the blue and green poles.
With Axton looking the door over, it seemed to glow faintly in response to his presence, however, it did nothing more. The door itself would be made of some thick looking slab of stone with a singular marking on its face.
