Cybil didn't care. Nor did anyone else care about Cybil. She would spend the entire boat ride in silence, as no one had any interest in attempting to speak with her. And any of her own attempts to join an already occurring conversation would just be stupid and annoying.
Sibylla explained that she didn't want to freak out the man she was speaking to.

A fascinating metal like that and all it gets is a passing mention in their books... what a backwards world... thought Yeager, as he angrily headed back to the inn to wait.

Robin would feel an immense desire to do literally anything else, because Cybil was a godawful shit-tier character that rightfully nobody was the least bit interested in.

Robin remained next to Cybil, pulling out the holy book and reading through it, but keeping an eye on the catgirl to make sure she was alright.

OoC: Off for the night.

Calibeth City

"Find what you were looking for?" the barkeeper asked Yeager, when he returned.
It wouldn't take very long for Sibylla and Timea to get close to the edge of the crater in which Calibeth City had been built. In the centre, the blade of the temple was glowing with a fairly bright orange light.

Yeager shrugged "Half and half... say, do you know anything about sky metal?" he asked the barkeep.

Reaching the edge of the crater, Timea placed her hands on her hips as she looked the city within it over. "This isn't something you see every day... ", she commented, half talking to herself. The gargantuan blade being the thing that stood out the most, Timea's eye was quickly drawn to it, looking the structure over curiously. While bright, Timea wasn't bothered very much by looking at the light.

Timea looked to Sibbyla and said, "Well, why don't you go see if you can't find anyone to ask about these flints, and look into people appearing from other worlds. I'll look into some other things, and come meet you when I'm done."

Timea then began heading down into the city, and quickly caught that the people didn't smell like the humans she knew. She would've thought the scent didn't come from humans, if she hadn't seen them moving around, earlier. While confused, she went on,and approached the nearest person, calling out, "Excuse me?" with a hand raised to get their attention.

Calibeth City

"Not much. Just the basics." the barkeeper replied. "Sometimes, stars fall. Where they land, you find sky-metal. For some reason, just touching some lets someone perform magic, with no training or knowledge. It's pretty hard to damage, too."
The person looked up at Timea as she called out, and approached. "Yes?" he replied.

"Oh really? What a fascinating metal... oh, but I'm sure it would be hard to come by in these parts, wouldn't it?" replied Yeager.

"Even before magic was made illegal, it was pretty rare down here." the barkeeper replied.

"Good to know, thanks for the info." said Yeager as he went to sit back down. Yeager wanted to get his hands on some of that metal, but he didn't think asking where to get some in a place where it was illegal was a smart move.

"I have some questions about the land, and the desert beyond it", Timea explained, stopping a few paces away from the pedestrian. "Get you point me towards where I'd best go to have these questions answered?" After she spoke, Timea gave the air a couple more sniffs, going over the scent of the, trying to figure out in what way it was off.

Anik listened to the singing, not saying anything after it had finished.

But when Shara spoke, she said: "That's classic human behaviour for you."

A little while later she asked:
"Does anyone of you see the city already?"
Speedy had cuddled himself between Cybil and Robin.

You look over towards Anik and nod, though you quickly realise how pointless that is. "At least in the Federation, yeah. The Aurorans are more interested in their damn honour than anything else, and the Polaris are an even stranger bunch."

Calibeth City

Sibylla would be told flint and other fire-lighting tools could be bought at the market. Nobody she talked to would know anything about people appearing from other worlds.
The person Timea was talking to shrugged. "I don't know anyone who knows much about the desert, let alone the places beyond it." Timea would notice that the Calibethans smelled slightly more like the ground than normal humans, more so than she might expect of people living and working in the desert.
The group on the barges would be passing near the farms by the point, and would thus be able to see the tip of the temple in Calibeth City, rising out of the crater.
