Jane and Homer were still following the group. Homer was still scribbling down notes.

Jane was frustrated by Shara leaving before showing her more about how to use her new sword. She silently wondered if anyone else could teach her.

 

[Kirke]

You risk a short glance at Yeager and his guards, cursing that you don't have much time. You whisper to Anik that you've fought an undead before and won, though you don't mention that you lost your arm in the process. With a sigh, you say that you can't in good conscience risk Anik's life, and you tell her that they should get back to the group.

 

[Silence]

"Can I convince you in any way to stop what you are doing?"
Anik asked, not even believing she could do it, since she knew the heart.

"Don't worry about my life, I will not die for you. But I won't just let you die either. Go, and I will follow you, on my own terms."

 

[Demonjazz]

"That can not be good for the body." Heno said to Robin, looking mildly annoyed by Topaz running circles around them.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"But it sharpens the mind. I'm more of a thinker than a fighter."

Topaz suddenly stopped in his tracks and looked for Speedy.

 

[Chungus]

At the second Vesh'Rah giving the same response, Timea shook her head, turned around, and walked away.

"That took a lot less time than expected. I'm sure you heard the reason why" Timea commented to Sibylla as she walked, following the road to Pallendein.

 

[Kirke]

You grunt, not happy with the situation but unable to delay any longer. You tell Anik to focus on the guards, but to take them down non-lethally if possible. You then begin to walk on an intercept course to your target, though you do not even glance at them.

It wouldn't take long for Yeager and his escort to reach the palace at the centre of the city. Assuming Shara didn't manage to reach them in time, they would enter the building and have the heavy wooden doors shut behind them.

 

[Silence]

Speedy followed the group, nearly not visible in the sand. He kept up easily, and did not even seem to care about the speed the other were jogging.

Anik followed Shara, but not directly after her, so she could wait and listen what Shara was doing, and jump in if needed.

[color=9f2089]"What're ya writing there?"[/color] Cybil asked Homer, glancing at his notes.

Jane might notice that Matilda and Cybil both had brand new swords thanks to Robin.

"Naht really. Didn't hear much'a anything at all." Sibylla commented as she followed after Timea.

"Uh, notes about a project I'd like to do." Homer said as he looked at Cybil.


"So...you know how to use a sword?" Jane asked Matilda.

 

[Kirke]

You hurry your steps, and you soon pass just behind them. When only a couple of metres away, you suddenly draw your sword and spring into action. You step in close and swing your prosthetic arm against the head of one of the guards, hard enough to knock-out but hopefully not kill. The moment after you follow up with a slash from your sword against Yeager's neck and head.

OoC: Not entirely sure about the formation the guards and Yeager are in. I assumed either one or both guards close behind him.

 

[Chungus]

"Precisely!" Timea exclaimed, though with a neutral voice. "No one wanted to help me. I understand why, however. I would be the same, in their situation."

 

[Furioso]

As Shara hit the other guard Yeager would have already unfolded his Scythe, using it to block Shara's attack and leap away from her, leaping farther than what would be expected of a normal human. "Vell vell vell, I must admit I didn't really expect an assassin." he said, making no attempt to retaliate.

[color=006d5b]"Yeah, I've had some practice."[/color] Matilda replied.

The guard Shara struck toppled over, bleeding from his head. His injury was made even worse when his face smacked into the hard ground. The other guard, hearing the strike, turned towards Shara. He drew his own weapon in the process. a little stunned by Yeager's skill. The palace guards looked over at Shara, and prepared for a fight. One of them opened the palace door, so Yeager could enter the building.

 

[Silence]

Anik drew her swords. As she heard Shara start the fight, she leapt into action, faster than a regular human being, bringing one sword down near the heart of the other guard, hoping to hit something.
If he tried to hit her, she would feel the movement in the air and would dodge.

She felt the hearts of the palace guards, and would go after them as soon as they made a move into the direction of the fight.

"Could you show me some things?" Jane asked.

 

[Kirke]

You cock your head slightly, replying that you've never been called an assassin before. You begin to feel pressure building up in your head, and you realise that with the palace guards already readying for battle that the odds have turned far against you. You glance over at the other guard, and apologise for hitting his comrade before suddenly rushing Yeager in order to try and finish this fight quickly.

Keeping your blood-stained prosthetic up in front as a sort of makeshift shield you strike again at Yeager, this time going for a upwards slash.

The guard Anik had attacked brought his blade up to parry hers, and would attempt to kick her in the stomach.
