The sailor Timea had approached, who was in the middle of eating a sandwich, looked up. "Yes?" he asked.

"Don't worry about it. Now, this will be harder; try to sense the flow of your friend's blood." he said, pointing at Jane. "Without touching her, that is."
Having a look at Timea's own charm and then back to her's, Hillary decided to try and put it around her neck too. While Timea started talking with the sailor, Hillary put the brass tube in her mouth so she'd get both hands free to try and get the charm over her head. The two pony tail buns her brass form had produced made the task quite a bit more difficult than she'd initially expected. For a moment she merely looked at it as it hung from her forehead, blowing it away like hair bangs before taking it off and looking at it again.
The tube would wiggle in her mouth as she'd eventually undid the charm's string, and put it around herself, and taking an even longer time to get it retied. The sailor's obvious super power of tying knots would tell him Hillary didn't tie the knot very well, sailors are well known for knowing how to tie things together. "How's this?" Hillary asked Timea after she got the tube out of her mouth.

"Yes, hello", Timea greeted the sailor, stopping a few paces away from him. When Hillary then called out to her, this was followed by her saying, "One moment", and looking to Hillary. She looked over the two knots Hillary had made, and while not knowing a great deal about tying knots, could tell it wouldn't last. "That's a good try! But, it's not going to hold very long. Why don't you try again, and shake your arm a bit to see how well a knot would hold?"
With that said, Timea turned back to the sailor, giving a small smile, then saying, "So, I have some question about these lands. Could you help me with that?"

"I could try. What do you need to know?" the sailor asked. Timea would be able to tell he, like almost all of the other sailors, was from Kaisir.
"Hmmmm...." She said, still in her fixed position. She thought about it for a bit. Electrical impulses in the body were easy to read since they are right next to her. But the electrical signals of someone else give off an EM field so small it's hard to detect it. The only way to feel that in sharp detail would be to go into Photon form. But that wouldn't be the right answer. It had to be much simpler; less energetic.
Photon form, she remembered, was good for enhancing sensory everywhere. But she didn't need to sense everywhere, she needed to sense in just one spot. She also knew that if she closed off her other senses, in addition to having her eyes closed, she could enhance her sensory of electromagnetism. So, she turned off her sense of touch, her sense of taste, and her sense of smell through her knowledge of how to shut off pain receptors. Already she could feel the EM fields much more strongly. Not only that, but her sense of hearing went up as well.
She then focused on Jane's body.

Anik returned the kiss, pulling her leg over his, so she sat more in his lap. She caressed his back, embracing him and all that stuff. Then she tried to get her hands under his clothes.
At the same time, she was quite concentrated, first on her own blood, then on his, basically doing the same lessons EMily was taught. She would not feel his EM field, but her hearing and if there was some other sense to it, that as well, was good enough to keep concentrated on the blood.
Not that any of that would be noticable by others, of course.

Robin began writing in his book, half-watching Anik and the Comet, surprised they were hitting it off so quickly.
"Well that settles that", Timea said, giving a small shrug. "Next question, then. Last night, I saw two fires burning burning in that direction, and I assume those were temples to Calibeth. Is that direction North? And do you know what those places are called?" she asked, pointing Northwards, to the direction she saw the fires burning, when mentioning them.
As Anik put her hand underneath his clothes, he pushed her away, and blushed, timidly looking nervously to the others... The timid blush looked very strange on such a confident, and relaxed man "Hey, not in front of everyone. Okay." He said in a small voice.
Heno was observing his surroundings, and sitting contently among everyone. He tapped Robin on the shoulder. "I think they would be grateful, if you didn't watch them."

Anik took his hand instead, and said quietly: "Oh, I got carried away. Really a shame this boat's not that big." She placed another kiss, but listened to the other people on the boat, if they did something interesting.
As she heard Topaz, she said: "I wouldn't mind, but this seeing thing seems to make other people uncomfortable around it. I can hear it when people doing it most of the time anyways, so there really is no difference for me, if someone else is near.
But I need to respect their feelings."
