Cybil went to go check out the weird tree.

[hr]

"Then don't go 'round spookin' folks fer no good reason!" Sibylla harshly called at EMily as he went back to following Timea.

"Nothing did happen, did it? What are you doing, Robin?" Anik asked, after she heard nothing more.

Then she added: "Can you see Timea from here? Have they ... stopped?"

Robin looked confused. He knew the sphere had some kind of electrical property when being help, and had guessed a Thunder spell would have a similar effect. Knowing the danger of charged metal, he picked it up with telekenisis and put it in his pack, making sure it didn't touch his sword or coins. "They're gone, to the west. We've found some kind of metal orb. It has electrical charge, but only when someone touches it. I cast a Thunder spell on it as an experiment."

Hillary looked a bit saddened when asked about the colour vision, shaking her head no. "I dunno why, I didn't when I was back home, but everything here's all blecky." Hillary commented as she looked around a little at all the grey. She'd stop once Timea extended to her the proposition, which after some thought seemed like a fair idea. "So can you go to Palla... adien... Palladien, you know where that is right? It's um..." Hillary looked westward for a moment, then looked to the other cardinal directions, eventually looking back to Timea. "Tiiiimea, which way's Palladeen? I gotta show EMily so she can bring Anik to say hi!" Hillary asked.

Sally looked around, and looked for any methods to stop the approaching flames from burning the tree, or stop the flow of fire on the grass. If she couldn't think of a better way, she would respond by dropping a few grenades between the burning grass and the not-on-fire grass, to hopefully extinguish the fire on the other side with an explosion, and uproot the not on fire grass. She had only three grenades, which she uses up there. She would follow this up by testing to see if a shot from her Gauss rifle would blow apart enough dirt to be useful in making a pit against the fire. If it was, she would use three of her twelve shots. She would then proceed to see if she could use her assult rifle in making a ditch to advoid the fire. If practical (Which I doubt), she would use that in place of her hand. If the fire spread over her makeshift ditch, she would pull out one of her twelve bottles of aqua pura, and pour it over the water.

If robin came out to see the source of the Explosion, she would look at him, and say, quite forcefully, "Help."

Robin might consider the possibility that his own affinity for thunder magic was the cause of the metal becoming electrically charged.

Sally's explosions would make a ditch to some extent, which could slow the fire, but her assault rifle did very little.

Anik was quiet for a short while, thinking. Then she said, slowly: "Who did touch it?"

When she heard the explosions, she cowered down, then asked again: "What was that?"

"It's... ", Timea began, then paused for a moment as she thought. Soon, she pointed in the general direction Palladein was in. "In that direction, approximately. She couldn't miss it, however. There is a clear road leading to it, plus the temple still stands", she explained. "In fact, say we'll meet at the temple, it's the landmark that stands out the most."

Timea wasn't very keen on the idea of having a run in with Anik, but opted to deal with that when the time came.

Hearing the noise of gunfire and explosions, Timea looked eastward, her eyes scanning over the area.

"My apologies then."

"Anyways, I can't smell anything. The people in the village were mentioning something about a metal man. Perhaps we need to look for signs of machine oil being burned."

Robin took the orb back out. "I did. It's charged now, don't touch-" He flinched as he heard an explosion. He dropped the orb, told Anik "Stay here!", and ran over, seeing the massive flame. He took out his tome and began charging.

"Oh okay!" Hillary looked on to where Timea was pointing, and then relayed the message to EMily, which seemed a bit redundant given EMily was about just as close to Timea as Hillary was, but that was beside the point. "You're gonna be there right?"

When the explosive noise started, Hillary quickly looked over in its direction, seeming rather spooked as her back straightened and her hands extending a bit out from her sides. If the fire was within view, Hillary would quickly move closer to Timea, and even hide behind her if she was capable in that amount of time.

"What was that?" EMily said, looking towards the direction of the noise.

"This tree will not burn." Sally said, as she rip apart the ground if at all plausible, "See if Anik would be willing to get help- Any help they could provide would be useful." she said, ripping apart the ground around the tree to hopefully make a semi-trench.

"Anik! There's fire spreading towards a tree here, help us put it out!" Robin called back as he charged his magic.

Anik heard the orb fall, but did not dare to touch it. Frustrated that she was not able to do anything, she did kick some rubble again. Then she held out a sword, and began poking the orb, clicking to find its location.

When she heard Robin call, she slowly went over, and said: "How?"

Calibeth City, North-western wall.
The Terminator stopped as it heard gunfire and an explosion from inside the city. After a moment's calculation, it decided that this required investigation. A gun would much improve its chances of successfully completing its mission. It jumped up and easily scaled the wall before looking down at the city centre, trying to identify the source of the gunfire.

West Calibeth City - 13:39 PM

Once Hillary relayed the message to EMily and returned to her, Timea turned around again, and resumed walking to the gate, very close to it. She would stay silent until she and Sibylla and Hillary left the city, then looked over her shoulder for a moment. After this, she tiredly said, "That didn't go as I'd have liked. But! It could have been worse." Although feeling a bit drained, Timea was glad to be out of the city, especially when it sounded like things turned violent.

After this, Timea looked to Sibylla, saying, "Now, Sibylla. Hillary doesn't like us eating humans, so we're going to bury this one and eat the shark until we've sat down and worked out something we can all agree on with that", she explained. "But we should eat from that before it spoils, anyway. Aaand, to make it up to you for having you wait so long, you won't need to carry this one to the den~"

When the orb touched the ground, its charge was grounded and it became safe to touch again. When Anik poked it with her sword, nothing unusual would happen.

Sally succeeded in making a trench in the ground around the tree.

[hr]

The Terminator would be able to see Sally in the caves under the centre of the city from its position on the wall.

"Some fire is spreading. There's some tree here, possibly the last one. It's in the way. Sally and I are trying to put it out. Now, I suggest you stand back." Robin moved in front of the tree, near where Sally was digging her trench. He levitated his book in front of him and shouted. "Arcwind!" A huge gust of wind flew out of the book, toward the flames. Even if it didn't put them out, it would probably make it change direction. The tree behind him would be untouched.
