Since Cybil was examining the tree that apparently had nothing going on when Sally started haphazardly chucking explosives at it, she only managed to survive because she could see the future and had enough of a head start to find a ditch to dive into.

Afterward she charged down Sally and tried to drop-kick her in the head for attempting to kill her.

"Aww... Kin Ah at least keep an arm'r leg'r sumthin'?" Sibylla disappointedly replied.

"No I don't like you eating people, that means you not eat all up Sybilla, or that talking cat, or him, or me." Hillary crossed her arms, feeling Timea was missing her stance somewhat to just say humans couldn't be eaten.

"No you can't have those, those are his!" Hillary retorted to Sybilla, then paused. "He still can't grow back stuff like you, right Timea?" Hillary asked, looking up to the woman as she continued following along.

 

[Silence]

Anik stood back, as she was told. "Why did you call me here, then?" she lashed out. She added: "Are you sure the fire was not just created by these loud bangs?"

 

[Chungus]

"You heard Hillary. We're not eating people until we've had a good talk about this", Timea replied to Sibylla, rubbing the side of her temple with her free hand. Other than this, there wasn't a change in facial expression, and little changes in body language as she talked to Sibylla, as she did most other times.

She was again confused by what Hillary was talking about. And when Hillary questioned her, Timea looked down to Hillary, now looking puzzled. "It sounds like you can grow back body parts after they're removed, but those of us made out of flesh and blood can only heal from some things, but once something is removed, it's not coming back", she explained. "But, he doesn't need his parts any more; he's dead. Whatever made him him is gone for good, and what you see here are just remains, things that the cycle of life will take back."

The Drop-kick would be successful, and sally would be knocked to the ground, She would stumble up, and aim her 10mm at Cybil, "Why... Did you just... Do that?" She said, pulling out a stimpack and stabbing it into her own neck.
(Note- If it was caused by a misunderstanding, then I'll edit this out.)

She shouted at Anik, "The fire was spreading, I didn't have much to prevent the fire's spread to the tree. I want this place to have at least one thing green left in it, for something else to sprout from." she said, "Grenades were the only thing that I could think of to quickly keep the fire at bay." she said.

Sally and the others would notice that the tree looked considerably less healthy than it had done beforehand, as though it were withering away before their eyes.

 

[Slenn]

"We should check out that noise." She said towards Mochán, and she sprinted off towards the sound.

 

[Wackymon]

Sally just stared as the tree slowly withered, then immediately dropped her pistol, scrambling around for some sort of magical-looky doo-dad, and poking the tree with it. If she could find any, she would pick up the ball, and hold it up to the tree, a look of quiet desperation on her face.

 

[Silence]

Anik did feel and hear the movement in the air, and heard/sensed Sally fall on the ground. Good riddance. she thought.

"... You are literally insane." she said to Sally.

[color=9f2089]"Well good job, you killed the last living thing here."[/color] Cybil commented to Sally.

"Pft, he's dead, he ain't gon mind." Sibylla brushed off Hillary's concern. She let out another disappointed groan at Timea.

Calibeth City, north-west wall
The Terminator observed the scene for a minute, but after noting that Sally was not in fact alone, it deemed engaging too dangerous. It jumped back down from the wall, and continued west around the outside.

The cat followed EMily towards the explosions.

Sally would find no magical doo-dads, and the metal ball was fairly far away, outside of the cave which Sally would struggle to get out of.

Sally just stared at it, and watched it die. She just closed her eyes, as it turned brown.
"Sorry. got a bit carried away." she said, "This place is just... You know, feels a small bit familiar. Almost like DC."
She looked up to the tree's husk, "You know, in DC, there's one place with any green trees? Only one. And even then, it's isolated, and the people who stand guard over it kill most outsiders."
She looked at Cybil, "Sorry. About you almost falling into the crossfire. Just... So few of these things, where I'm from. Was hoping that, maybe, I could preserve at least one here."
She turned to the tree, "You know, I didn't see a real tree until I saw Oasis? Nearly a fully grown woman, and all my life, I saw only the husks, the remains of trees, turned to little more than ash. It was amazing, like a fairy tale come to life, when I first saw it..."
She petered off, and just stared at the tree.
She silently stood up, and plopped down a bottle of water at it's base, "I figure if anyone else comes here, they could use some water." she said.

"...life is hard in your Homeworld, isn't it?" Robin asked Sally sorrowfully.

 

[Silence]

"Trees just stand in the way." Anik said unemphatically. "Why don't you go back to the moving tree swamp, to go to the tree elves, with their big tree, and their little trees around? You have all the trees there. I bet you would feel right at home with these tree elves. You did ... nevermind. Just ... think for once."

"And what am I doing here anyway?" she asked. "I'm useless, I can't even run without hitting everything in my way."

 

[Wackymon]

Sally chuckled, "What gave you that idea?" she said, chuckling, "My reaction to everything, or just me in general?" she asked.
"As it is... Well, it's getting better, somewhat. I gave Harold something- spreads the oasis around. It takes time, though. For the stuff to grow..."
She stands up, and looks to Anik, "Because there's more to do, and I can still do other things to help, outside of there." she said bluntly, pulling out her Gauss Rifle, "Now come on, we still have to search this place for anything we can use to fix the whole sun being missing thing. And if we spot what did this, well, we're going to have to fight. You can leave, if you want, but I feel like we'll need all the help we can get. Being blind doesn't matter as much, as long as you're a decent combatant."

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Anik, from what I've seen of you you're a strong, principled woman. You shouldn't put yourself down." Robin walked over to Anik, holding out a hand.

 

[Drakmorg]

Not caring to be a part of the pity party, Cybil meandered off a short ways. She found the metal orb Robin had discarded and started tossing it about in the air and catching it.

 

[Silence]

"I can't fight heartless creatures, and there is nothing with a heart here." Anik replied to Sally. "And the sun being down does not matter to me."
"You're right. Me complaining was dumb." Anik said to Robin, not sounding convinced at all.

She started to create echoes with her tongue right after that, to find anything odd in the cave.
