Western desert - 09:43 AM​

Walking along, Timea looked towards Hillary as she spoke, but took a moment to answer. Her gaze looked distant, and she seemed to not immediately register what had been said. "I... I'm feeling a little low on energy, yes", she eventually said, looking back straight ahead. "But don't you worry about it."

 

[Zepherus14]

"Okay..." Hillary said, hesitating as she wasn't entirely sure how much she should really be worrying. Being told not to worry about it, meant you should probably worry about it in all honesty.

 

[Chungus]

Momentarily, Timea looked back down to Hillary, and placed a hand on her shoulder, needing to elongate her arm somewhat to do so with the significant height difference between the two, with Hillary lacking lower legs in her current state. Timea gave Hillary a small smile, then moved her hand back. The arm returned to its normal length a lot more slowly then it normally did, and jittered as it happened. When the arm was back to normal length, Timea flexed and relaxed the hand a couple of time.

If Hillary could feel temperatures, she might feel Timea's hand was ice cold.

Palladein, Afternoon

When the group reached Palladein, they would find a few people still putting out lanterns to illuminate the streets, though most of the city was lit up by that point. They would find there was still room available in the local inn, where they could stay overnight.

Timea in turn would again feel Hillary was pretty soft as she was now, Timea wouldn't need to put much pressure at all to depress Hillary's shoulder. "Hehe, your arm looked funny when you did that." Hillary mused, giggling at the sight of Timea's rubber arm. Hillary didn't seem to notice the drastic temperature difference however.

Palladein - over night

Even though she wanted to drink herself into oblivion (again), Anik decided against it, pretty much at the last moment. So she slept only very few hours, like she was used to, laying awake for a long time after, She used her different senses to 'read' the people in the town who were still sleeping, imagining their lives. She had the feeling her heart sense ability had gotten stronger for some reason. But it was not really beneficial to her, even the town just seemed more confusing.
When she heard the first people starting their morning business, she did some exercise herself, which seemed not really gain her much with the new strength.

She went to get breakfast when she felt Timea, Hillary and Sybilla approaching Palladein, but waited for them to stop at a place, before leaving the inn, with or without the others.

"Got you smiling, did I? ...That's good", Timea said in response to Hillary letting out a giggle, not quite catching what Hillary said, but picking up on the laugh.

Timea would spend the remainder of the trip quiet and walking on in a sluggish manner that grew increasingly so as time passed. Occasionally, Time's eyes would close again, accompanied by her head drooping, or her stumbling forwards. These were met with Timea shaking her head and blinking more, and patting herself on the cheeks, while brushing off any concerns, telling not to worry about it every time.

Palladein - 10:23 AM​

Shivering, Timea entered Palladein, and lead Hillary and Sibylla to the temple. Once there, Timea weakly smiled to herself, barely audibly saying a sentence that sounded like "we're here". With the girls delivered, Timea accomplished what she set out to do, after which her strength gave out. Her vision lost colour and blurred, her sense of spatial awareness faded, and she collapsed with a heavy thud. She laid still, hypothermia dragging her to death's door.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Jane said in a testy manner.

 

[Silence]

Previously - Conversation with Jane

"You know. But I won't ask you further, if you don't want to. Just ... be careful of your own mind." Anik said.

Hillary have been sticking beside Timea for most of the trek, only gaining a bit once the temple was in plain view. She wouldn't have seen Timea fall, but she sure would have felt it and heard it, the crash easily heard from streetsblocks away. "Timea? Timea?!" Hillary started shouting once she'd turned around to see Timea eaten dirty and very soon might be having a dirt nap instead. Hillary would scoot over to Timea and try to shake her awake, before turning to anyone that was near the temple itself for help, pleading with them to help.

Anik would very obviously be able to feel the difference in both Hillary's and Timea's hearts to know something was very wrong even if her group wasn't close enough to hear them.

Robin paid for the group's inn stay, spending most of the night working on Anik's flaming knife.

When morning, such as it was, arrived he followed Anik, intending to give it to her.

Palladein

Eina came running out of the temple when she heard Hillary, and stared down at Timea. "What happened to her?" she asked.

 

[Silence]

Anik started out slowly, then suddenly picked up the pace.
"Guide me, Robin. Something does not feel right. Hillarys heart is full of fear, Timeas heart seems to be ... fading?" she said, nearly stumbling.

 

[Zepherus14]

"I-I don't know, she's been acting all funny and sleepy! I don't know why!?" Hillary cried, still unable to feel Timea's cold body to make that distinction. She'd try to shake Timea awake again, but obviously wouldn't be able to do much on that front. "Come on Timea, you gotta wake up!"

"She wasn't like this last morning!"

 

[Gearhead mk2]

Robin moved to just ahead of Timea, then matched her speed and grabbed her wrist to steer her and stop her from bumping into anything. He led her to the temple.

"What kind of jobs are you looking for?"

Ultron asked, looking back towards the city, zooming in on it again and looking the place over, while speeding up its walk a little.

Palladein - 10:23 AM​

Timea was laying on her side, on stones that had been cracked by her fall. She wasn't breathing any longer, but faint shivering still showed signs of life. Were someone to check for a pulse, they would find it being very weak, and would likely give out, soon. They would also feel the lack of body heat.

Her weighing 8.8 tonnes, any attempt to move Timea would likely fail.

You reply to the robot while entering the city, though still wary of its intentions. However, you tell it that you'd personally prefer mercenary work, bounty hunting or even working as a caravan guard.

Desert, south of Calibeth City
After moving east for a while, the Terminator spotted a flare going up in the sky. It considered whether to investigate or not, and swiftly decided to at least take a look. It set of towards the flare's origin at a jog.

Eina performed a relatively basic examination of Timea, and discovered her freezing cold temperature. "Go into the room at the back of the temple, and get some sheets from the beds." she told Hillary, pointing in the direction of the door.

[color=446ccf]"I'm not really that picky."[/color] Rebecca replied. As Ultron looked at the city, he would see that it was surrounded by grey, stone walls, each of which had a tower. At the back of the city was a stone building that rose up above the city walls. Based on the terrain, Ultron might deduce that this structure was built on a hill.

When Shara entered the city, she wouldn't see any mercenary companies or bounties. She would see a small merchants guild, resembling the one from Palladein, however.

When they were near Timea and Hillary, Anik wanted first to call out to Hillary "Hill ..." then realized it would probably be better to get an impression of the situation first. She asked Robin: "What is going on? Timeas heart is weakening. Did something attack them?"
Even though she did not really like Timea, the respect was there, to not just leave. And she was concerned for Hillary.

Hillary would take a second to consider on if she should go get the sheets, partially not wanting to leave Timea alone, but given Sybilla was also there she'd go as fast as she could inside the temple and go and grab as many sheets as she could. When she got inside, she found that she'd need a second hand, realizing she was carrying her shiny tube. Putting it in her mouth, she flipped over to her brass form, and was easily able to carry all the bedsheets like they were nothing.

Hillary wouldn't notice Anik as she'd be inside or entering the temple at the moment, but would be soon returning.
