Vala - Day 2 - 21:31

"Animal people? They actually look like animals? Damn not seeing anything. Well, at least I could sense that their hearts were different than Calibetheans." Anik said in response to Jane, then said to Robin: "Ah well, that's very convenient. I think I will wait here, or explore the city, until the swords are done. Books are not really ... well, you know that."

"...Hang on. Homer found bodies in the city that had wounds caused by claws, swords, and magic fire swords. The vesh use swords, have claws, and use magic. I think they had something to do with it." Jane said.

Speedy, and any other members of the group who were outside the bathhouse, would see a group of guards approaching the building

"I doubt it. The might have churches like that one, but I don't think anyone keeps detailed records. No need." the man replied.

Vala-Day 1
Yeager made it to the gate. "Vell hello Mr...... Guard, hopefully you'll enjoy your new veapons once they arrive. Now, I'm here as a vitness to confirm my friends accusations. Vhen I first arrived in the Capital, on my way to present the veapons now being made in this fine city, I vas attacked..." said Yeager as he told the guard the story of the attempted assassination by Shara and Anik. "...I'm sure some of the refugees here vould have seen it."

Femesh Daer

Yeager walked up to the other, much larger crate, kicking it on a seam on one end. The seam split open, the top popped off, and a monstrous construct uncurled itself and rose up. The sides of the crate had actually been the arms of a hugh mechanical golem, which looked more like thick metal walls than arms. As it rose up lines of soft blue light flickered to life in its eye sockets. Once fully upright, it had a vaguely humanoid appearance, and rose up to about 12 feet tall.

Spoiler: Kind of like this, but metal instead of rock

"This design is much more simple, but no less effective. It is responsible for blocking choke points, or really, blocking anything you vant blocked, and making sure that nothing gets past it. I dare you to find something that can breach its defenses... It's also really really good at smashing things..." as Yeager finished speaking another mook threw a snowball at the golems feet. In one surprisingly quick motion, the golem raised one of its arms and brought the fist down where the snowball had landed. The force at which it struck the earth was enough to cause the ground to shake, and a small crater to be left where the poor snowball had once been.

 

[Silence]

Vala - Day 2 - 21:31

Speedy squeaked and ran to Robin: "Oh no, I talked about magic, now people come like the people standing before the city and the northern city! I think they want to arrest me!"

Anik frowned about Janes insight. "That would make a whole lot of sense. I wonder where these Vesh'Rah ended up."

 

[Gearhead mk2]

Robin picked up Speedy and put the hamster in his currently-down hood. "Did you mention I was with you?" he asked the hamster quietly.

 

[Chungus]

Village - Day 2 - 18:58​

"I see. Well, thank you for your time, sir." After bowing her head, Timea & co headed towards the church. Once there, Timea looked around, and smelled the air, to check if anyone was inside. Regardless of what the floor was made of, Timea would enter the church, thinking no one would mind if the floor was damaged, given the state the rest of the building was in.

Vala - Day 1 - 10:13​

Ultron stood by as Yeager gave his story to the guard. Once he finished speaking, it asked,

"What did this second attacker look like?"

"We'll ask around for other witnesses, and keep an eye out for this group." the guard replied.

Day 2

The group of guards entered the bathhouse, and headed into the room where the group members were. "I'm going to need all of you to come with me." the leader stated, looking at the group members. Speedy might recognise his voice, as that of the man who had been speaking with Ana earlier.

Village

Timea would smell nobody within the building, not even small animals she might have expected to move in. The church was almost identical to the two that Yeager had visited, with the same altar, designs carved into the walls and floor, and an identical layout. The altar of this church, however, had been broken, and fallen over.

 

[Silence]

"No. You have to hide me!" Speedy said, shivering. He occasionally looked out of the hood, then hid himself back again, while Robin was dealing with the guards.

Anik read the hearts of the guards.
"Why?" she asked in a serious tone.

Robin put his hood up as the guards came in, so Speedy would be on top of his head and hidden by shade. "What is it?" Robin asked the guard.

 

[Slenn]

EMily turned herself at attention towards the guard.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

The leader of the group of guards held up a piece of paper, and read from it the various things Yeager and Ultron had accused the group of.
Anik would find that most of them were in their twenties to thirties, Calibethan and had generally quite pure hearts, most of them with a strong sense of justice, though the leader had a fair amount of wrath in his heart.

Caedryn looked up at the metal golem in awe. "I can imagine it would be good at smashing things... Does it have any other capabilities?" he asked. "Not that it needs any, really."

 

[Chungus]

Village, church - Day 2 - 19:00​

Smelling the air, Timea was rather confused by the lack of smells of birds and rodents, and wondered if the church wasn't as abandoned as it looked. Walking further into the main room, Timea looked down on the floor, noting the carvings on the vines on them. Looking between them, and the rest of the building, she found the carvings looked well-maintained compared to the others things. This too confused her.

"[sub]Strange... .[/sub]" She took a closer look to see if the carvings on the floorboards were newly carved.

 

[Slenn]

"With all due respect, officer, I'd like to discuss this in full with Yeager and Ultron." She said, putting her hands formally in front of her.

 

[Silence]

As he was reading the list, Anik whispered: "The leader is full of wrath. Be careful with him"
Then, she slowly stood up and fumbled for the edge of the basin. She just stood there, naked, listening to the rest of the laments, hoping it might at least make a few of the guards uncomfortable.

 

[Furioso]

Vala
"She looked fairly normal. Brown hair, regular clothes, slightly tan. Biggest giveaway is a brass arm that she has."

Femesh Daer
"Vell, it can do this..." said Yeager as he reached down, got a clump of snow, and tossed it high in front of the golems face. It's mouth opened up and a white laser blast shot out, vaporizing the snow and traveling forward a long distance before fading out.

Robin nodded in agreement with EMily.

Timea would see no signs that the floorboards were new. There would be some signs of wear and tear, particularly at the edges of the building.

Vala

Anik would be unable to make any of the guards even slightly uncomfortable, as none of them seemed to be paying attention to anything under her neck. The leader looked at EMily then said, "We'll see about that later. But first, you'll be talking with me. Put your clothes back on, all of you."

"Very useful. Now, what are the limitations of these things?" Caedryn asked.

 

[Slenn]

EMily patiently waited for everyone to get changed, as she was already dressed.

 

[Silence]

Anik fumbled around for her clothes, taking longer than she needed to, then she dressed herself. She went to Robin, also playing more blind than she needed to, by bumping into things, and felt for his hand. "Guide me." she said quietly.
