"Huh?" Hillary looked over to Anik, as she continued walking with the bag. She listened to the questions before looking out to the approaching Meltha. "Weeelll..." She hummed, looking at her hands. "I do look like me normally, but kinda not too. Like I can't see through myself like normal, but I don't turn into a rock when I eat one~" Hillary giggled, thinking that idea would be quite silly.

"I've been changing all the time though?" Hillary asked, kinda missing Anik's point which was presumably could she morph herself like other slimes could, stretching out and the like. "I've never really had clothes before, I think they look kinda funny. Timea kinda explained it a bit before, but it's still weird." Hillary replied, having no clothing of human nature where she can from.

"That could be quite possibly, and I did have the idea of returning to Kaisir, some time in the future", Timea agreed, giving a nod. "I'm not swimming to the bottom of the ocean, though. Even us fleshy people could get a form of blessing so that we may breathe underwater, I don't want to get this wet", she added, lightly patting the side of the blanket, at the end of her sentence.

Timea continued to look on to Anik with a big grin, but noticing annoyance building up in Anik, kept herself from teasing Anik further. Cheerily, she responded, "No, no. In Vesh. I don't think there are temples in Meltha.

Speaking of moon deities, however: When we get to Femesh Daer, I want to look into Faotar. He may or may not be a moon deity, as well."

"No, it's more a case of being at the wrong place, at the wrong time, as they say. The world is a dangerous place, Hillary", Timea answered Hillary, plainly, her expression becoming more neutral.

It would take another hour or so of walking for Timea and her group to reach the walls of Meltha, which would allow them to see the city in more detail up close. It was made of grey stone, with the keep rising up over the city, on its hill. The people, Timea would notice, had a similarly greyish skin, hair and eye colour, with white freckles, but otherwise would look human.

Robin took the bags, thanking the innkeeper, then left the inn and headed to the Stables.

Anik hated herself for the question, but still had to ask:
"You don't look naked, do you, Hillary? Maybe we should try out what happens when you wear real clothing."

"The book we had did not say anything about Faotar being a moon deity, just that he was the god of hunting and had an eye as symbol. But the book did not state everything, anyways." Anik said, noting the cheering tone and lack of apology from Timea. She hated her and herself for wincing, and thought about how to prepare for a possible incoming prank.

Anik felt the city nearing, and did, when they came closer to the wall, remind people: "If you see a Vesh'Rah, tell me and lead me to him."

"It could be he has nothing to do with the moon. But it can't hurt to check", Timea responded, now back to talking to Anik without showing facial expressions and much body language.

Meltha - Day 3 - 13:10​

"I'll do that. Although finding one here is not very likely", Timea responded, looking up to the people walking about, noting their skin colour. At this, she found the skin colour wasn't a one-off, as she had believed when seeing the priest in Hannamar. "The people here look strange, however. Still human, but with very odd features."

"Maybe we could get them to come to us then? Have like a picnic so that we can all have a talk?" Hillary suggested to Timea. "Then your blanket won't get wet, right?"

"What's, naked?" Hillary asked, the concept not really being a part of her understanding. Hillary wouldn't have much of a belly button, let alone anything else. So one could say she was nude, but really most statues would have more nakedness than Hillary ever could.

"Huh." Hillary mused as she looked at the new people.

"Odd features? What do you mean?" Anik said.

After glancing around the room for a moment you stand up, grimacing at the aching. You then begin doing various stretches to ease the pain.

Alain slowly woke up and stretched, and noticed Shara standing up. "Oh hey, Immalmoss finish with the thing." He mumbled, though the rock didn't look any different from when he started.

"Well they got kinda lightish dots on their face." Hillary said somewhat quietly. "It's like those other dots people had, but those ones were darker."

Meltha - Day 3 - 13:10​

"They have skin as grey as the rock from which they've made their buildings of", Timea reported. "I've heard someone say that Southern Calibethians were made out of the dirt by the god, the Kaisiri made out of seawater, and the Vesh'Rah out of animals.

Perhaps these midland Calibethians were formed from the rock, and the Northerners from the snow," she theorised, then let out a soft chuckle. She also made a mental note to check if the Melthans' smell was indeed that of rock, later.

"If these stories are true, I think the gods are lacking in imagination, if human-like figures are the only things they can come up with."

 

[Silence]

"... maybe they formed them after their own likeness?" Anik speculated. "Well, what clothing do these people wear? I need to buy something."

"Maybe. I don't think they come up to the surface all that often, though, let alone to land. So that could be a bit of a problem. But we'll tackle that issue when it's time. No point in thinking about it, now", Timea answered Hillary, then. after a pause, decided to chime in on the topic of Hillary not wearing clothes.

"She isn't naked as you would be, in the same situation, lacking both genitals and nipples. And even a naval, so all in all, there is no need for her to get dressed, Anik", she explained, adding in Anik's name to tell who she was talking to.

"I still don't get it, what's wrong?" Hillary asked, feeling like this conversation was going far about her head.

"Well what would you do instead Timea?" Hillary asked, thinking herself about it. "Maybe we could have a bunch of Mochans instead, that would be neat." Hillary suggested as to an alternative to a bunch of humanoids.

 

[Silence]

East Northern Road - Day 3 - 8:39

"Hmm, alright." Anik responded to Hillary and Timea. "Dressing up can be really fun, though. But I don't know if it would change you instead of just having it on. So that wouldn't be too fortunate."

She added: "Sometimes people don't like it if you don't have something that covers your body. And sometimes you need it to keep you warm.
Nothing is wrong, Hillary, I was just wondering."

You turn to Alain, then glance at the rock. Though you've been around magic enough to know it isn't always visible, you decide to point out anyway that it doesn't look any different.

"Well, I was just carving the inside of it." Alain explained. "I gotta break the outer stuff, then finish up the exterior of the glyph thing." He opened his backpack and took out a regular size hammer that would normally be used to put nails in things. He then placed the rock on the floor, and started to line up a swing with the hammer.

"Personally, I don't see the point in wearing clothes, outside of practicality's sake", Timea stated, even though she looked like she looked like she was wearing a fancy dress. "I think the stigma against nudity, that came with the advent of clothing, is just very sad. There is the point about self-expression, but that's just superfluous."

"Oh okay, I get it now." Hillary nodded her head, she'd actually wondered that herself earlier on in the journey but with no one actually making a fuss about her, it seemed like she didn't need to worry about it. "Well, I haven't really felt anything hot or cold this whole time, but maybe it could be fun? I've never worn anything like that." Hillary said before becoming quiet. "Probably would be more fun if I could see the colours if there were any..."
