Snowy Mountains - Day 3 - 21:37
Once outside of the wolf den, Timea began draining the wolf of energy, until it became too weak to sustain itself, and died of cardiac arrest. When this was done, Timea dropped the corpse, and saw down, changing her paws into human hands, using these to tie the blanket around her neck. Shivering, Timea reignited the fire.
With this done, Timea changed back into the giant bird she had been before, took hold of the wolf with her beak, and ran towards the edge of the mountain, leaping off of it with spread wings, soaring for a bit, then beating them to gain altitude. Airborne, Timea began flying back to the others.

A couple of minutes of flying later, Timea reached the campsite again. Descending, she tilted her wings to brake, and dropped the corpse once she had slow down enough. After, she herself touched down on the ground, skidding a step, before coming to a halt.
Once on the ground, Timea reverted back to her default form, and tied the blanket back around her waist. Picking up the wolf where it had landed and slinging of over her shoulder, Timea approached the others. "I'm back", she called out.

Anik got up when she sensed Timea come back, having thought about how she could avoid too much work with building a snow tent. Finally, her mind wandered to Timeas blanket and Robins fire magic.
"Did you find something?" she said to Timea. She added: "I will try something, don't be surprised." and took her swords. Slowly, she searched for a fitting spot near the side of the road, then said "Fire!" and rammed the swords in the ground. Fire would engulf her, and melt away the snow around her, but do no harm.
"Oh, this is warm." she said.
Near the others, Timea would see one or two snowmen.
After a few seconds, the fire would vanish. Anik made: "Aww." and pulled the swords out of the ground again.

"I did find a cave, yes. But it's a wolf den. There could be others further down the mountain range, but at that point, it would defeat the purpose of stopping to r--" Timea began to answer Anik, trailing off for a moment when Anik cast the fire spell, a little startled by it, despite the warning. "--rest."
Timea looked to Anik's fire, then down to her own, and shook her head blowing mute sigh. Setting down the wolf corpse - which was already starting to cook, due to the heat of Timea's fire - Timea crouched down besides it, silently paid her respects to the wold, then grew a talon from her finger, and began skinning it. She did so, dissatisfied. The wolf barely counted as a snack.
To take her mind off of the fact that she would grow hungry the night, Timea looked up to the snowmen. "I see you had fun, though."

Hillary would have stopped as Anik engulfed herself with fire, her eyes bulging out in shock. Anik being fine after it at least made Hillary a bit comforted about it, but fire was quite spooky.

"You are right about that, I don't think my feet will allow me to walk much further. I was thinking about a hole in the ground right here, not far away mountains, when I asked about a natural shelter.
Anyways, yes, it was entertaining here. At least I hope Hillary has fun with the snowmen. I love snow, you can do so much with it."
After her initial experiment was not completely successful, Anik started with her Plan B, which was carving the rune design she had learned from Robin into the earth, where the snow had melted. Using a sword for this was complicated, but with enough feeling if it was right, it could be done.
She concentrated on the spot, again casting fire, which would hopefully lead to a permanently burning flame.
"Tonight, I sleep under the clear sky." Anik stated after she had finished.

"Ooh! That's very nice!" Timea responded to Hillary, with some forced cheer, although this wouldn't be hearable. "I would try out making one myself, but it would just melt. So I'll just have to do with watching you. Make it a nice one for me~!"
After saying this, Timea looked down to the wolf, smelling the fur start to sear away, and decided to turn off her fire, for now, not wanting to lose the little meat she had. When Anik spoke, Timea glanced up to her. "About sleep arrangements, Anik, I think we should take turns taking watch. In case this "Hunter" tries to attack while we sleep."

Anik frowned about the possibility of Hunter attacking, but agreed wholeheartedly with the notion of keeping watch. "You are right. I will take the first turn." And after that, let's just hope that he does not attack, because I will be knocked out.
She went back to the others again, to get to her bag, and let the fire lit for now.

"I am Anik, I am!" Hillary agreed, rolling her third ball as they spoke. "And that's okay Timea." Hillary said, stopping her ball rolling and went over to the pile of rocks Anik had gotten her. She would then hand Timea the rock, or at least set it near here. "You could make a snow man with this! Or... um. A rock man!" Hillary laughed. "I saw that little sculptour you made, it was really pretty. But I didn't touch it." Hillary said, pivoting in place for a short time before going back to her snowball.
Hillary would push the ball a few more times before her head raised again, and she looked to Timea and Anik. "But I don't want him coming back, he was a stupid dummy!"

"Okay", Timea agreed. Although still for practicality's sake, rather than the actual companionship, Timea was happy to have Anik around. Timea then looked to Mochán, stating, "You should take the last watch, Mochán, and catch up on your rest on the road."
With this said, Timea continued her skinning, finishing cutting the connective tissues. She was about to remove the hide, when Hillary walked over, handing the rock. Timea took the stone, wondering why Hillary brought it, letting out an "oh!" when Hillary explained. "Why thank you, Hillary~" she said, giving Hillary a smile, and a poke on the nose, before she walked away.
When Hillary object to the state of affairs, Timea exhaled through her nostrils. "I don't want it, either. And he might not, but it's better to be safe than sorry. These things often take at least three days to blow over. A week, if they're the tenacious kind."

Staying awake until it was time taking turns, speaking with Timea some times (as the reader will soon find out), Anik would, at last, fall unconscious more or less laying in her self-created fire, after drinking half a bottle of vodka.

Timea and friends would arrive in Femesh Daer, after around 6 hours of sleep followed by 4 more hours of travel.

Anik used the cane and refrained from clicking when arriving in Femesh Daer, thinking about how she would find a veil in this port. Also, her feet hurt a little.
