As Anik entered the city she might notice 8 hearts in the city that felt... odd, compared to the regular citizens. They would seem like normal enough hearts, except that there would be a sense that they were dulled or suppressed in some way.
Yeager, who had been mindlessly wandering the town out of boredom, eventually came around to the southern gate of the city. There he saw Anik, recognizing her despite the outfit change due to the eye coverings. Had things have been different, Yeager might have tried to do something about her presence, but his talk with EMily made him realize that it wouldn't be worth the effort. Even so, he approached, saying "Vell vell vell, it's been a long time, ja?" to her as he walked closer.

When she heard the familiar voice, without sensing a heart to connect it to, Anik froze in her tracks. While she concentrated on all the sounds he would make, to not get surprised, she answered with a feigned smile: "It has been, indeed. How did you fare, Yeager?"

Timea would finish her meal, scraping down the tiniest speck if meat on the bones, lick them off, then break them open to get to the marrow inside. After, she moved a fair bit of distance away from the road, cleared the patch of ground of snow, then laid down to sleep.

After some two hours had passed, and Anik woke Timea to have her take watch, Timea awoke with a groan, moving into a slumped sitting position. She was quiet for a moment, sitting the grogginess out, but looked up to Anik when she moved to her own sleeping place. "Wait... before you go to sleep... can we have talk?"

The next day, Timea wasn't happy that others wanted to get moving so early in the morning, but went along with it. She wouldn't immediately walk with the rest, instead turning into a bird and flying around the area to check for animal tracks.
Not having any luck finding anything worthwhile, Timea descended to join the others when Femesh Daer came within sight. She wouldn't say much during the trip, hunger putting her in an irritable mood.
After, when the group, Timea was carrying Hillary, who had tired herself out on the trip. Walking into the city, Timea looked around, primarily looking for anything that looked like a temple.
Robin smiled as Aqua reformed. "Good to see you're alright. We made it to port, but that blue box was stolen, Beak was kidnapped and the Doctor was hurt."

How rude, you don't even know me." said Yeager, trying to sound serious, but Anik would be able to tell that the question had shaken him. His tone of voice was off, making it clear that he was avoiding something.
Anik would be able to tell that Yeager did have a bloodstream... of some kind. It would be clear that it wasn't a natural, healthy bloodstream, as the blood never actually moved through where his heart should be located.

Timea was quiet for a short while, having a little more trouble finding her words, as she had just woken up. "How are you doing?" She asked, then considered the question would need more clarification. "Earlier today... when Hillary fell into the mud pool, you looked like you were about to cry. I would have asked earlier, but I assumed you would appreciate some privacy."

Anik might feel that although the offer was genuine, it was almost entirely offered out of pragmatism.
Deciding to ask about a second thing that had been on her mind. "Another thing; Why isn't Matilda with you?" she asked, having no trouble recalling the name, while it was mentioned only twice. She then more light-heartedly added, "You spoke of her so highly, it sounded like you were practically ready to built her a shrine."
