With Anik taking care of payment for the ship ride, Timea headed back to the marketplace, to look for Hillary.
While doing so, Timea glanced to Sibylla, slowing down, but continuing to walk. She looked over to Sibylla's arm, looking a bit puzzled. "Your arms, Sibylla?" she began while inspecting Sibylla. "Are you shedding scales?"
When Anik returned, Timea acknowledged her by saying, "noted."
With her ability at full function again, Aniks nervousness about being in a city began to increase as well. Still not feeling as bad as wanting to run away, she instead held a hand against her head, and tried to block out every heart she felt around her, aside from Timeas, which she followed as precisely as she could, so as not to hit anything.
"I'm Robin." Robin told Solaire, then looked to Cybil. "We're waiting for a boat to Vesh, and have three hours to pass. Solaire suggested we brush up on our combat skills to pass the time."

Sibylla followed Timea, still actively searching out scents of obvious food, or even just small animals at this point. "Huh? Whut d'ya'll mean?" Sibylla scratched at her arm as she replied to Timea. The grey scales were easily torn off by Sibylla's fingers, falling to the ground with more impact than one would reasonably expect, and leaving bleeding sores as they were removed.

Noting Anik starting to clutch her head, Timea wondered what was wrong. She first wondered if Anik had too much to drink, smelling the alcohol on Anik's breath, but given the lack of stumbling around, ruled this out. Already looking into Sibylla's well-being, however, she didn't comment on it.
Looking back to Sibylla, Timea winced a little at the bleeding sore Sibylla scratching the patch of greyed scales of left, noting this definitely wasn't shedding. She also noted the scaled being heavier then they looked.
"...Shedding is a thing snakes do; replenishing their scales, and losing the old ones, afterwards. But that's not what's going on, here. This looks like--", Timea began, and continued with a lowered voice. "--you're turning to stone, yourself. Is... that normal?"
"I think swordplay would be a good place to start." Robin looked to the guard. "I understand there's a training ground we can use here?"
The attempts to block out, or dull, the other hearts with sheer willpower were completely unsuccessful for Anik, sensing every single heart in the city. She wondered what she should do, run out of the city, start drinking again - when her mind fell on the 8 hearts she had felt when she first moved into Femesh Daer, the 8 hearts that seemed dull or suppressed, and therefore not as nervewracking to her.
"I want to look into something. I'll be right back." she said to Timea and Sybilla. She then wandered in the direction of these hearts, whistling and using her cane, trying to find out where and what exactly they were.

"Yes, that's what the area where people are training in is." the guard replied, starting to think Robin had been dropped on his head a few times.

Anik would eventually find Yeager, able to tell he was there because he was giving orders to the workers, and his 8 minions. The minions to an onlooker seemed very odd, appearing very lethargic due to their hunched over stances and dangling arms when standing still, and yet they were working with an incredible amount of speed and skill. Of course, Anik wouldn't be able to tell this.
"Yeager?" Anik said, when arriving. "So ... these hearts are yours?" she added, without any kind of malice or disgust in her voice, just sheer curiosity.
